Or says he wants to spend time with you then goes and invites some random girl over EVERY NIGHT?

No...very definitely not. The exact opposite. He never talks to me, and hardly ever sees me, even though I only live two hours away.

Since everyone's talking about how annoying their Dad is, I'm starting to hate mines too. For many reasons that started about 5 years ago. But the most recent thing was embarrassing me at my Nan's funeral. Not only was it embarrassing, it was utterly disrespectfull too.
I lit up a cigarette at the pub afterwards and he didn't know I smoked (I don't see him very often), so what does he do? Walks over and smacks me with his hat. Very hard! Everyone turned around to see what the noise was. So it goes:
Me: "What the hell was that for?"
Dad: "For smoking"
Me: "So? That's hardly a reason to hit me"
Dad: "Yes it is. That's what Dad's are for!"
... despite him not ever being a proper Dad for the past 5 years, since my Mum died. Well, he was never really a proper Dad before then, either. He worked away for most of the year, so I never saw him. And when I did, he was never really interested in me. So, yeah. Woe is me and all that. Haha.
Yeah, rant over. Just thought I'd add my story razz
EDIT: Phew, I'm getting pretty personal here tonight rolleyes
