She's only making seven, that was her plan from the start. Only the seven years that Harry is in school... at least I think that's still her plan

and also, dumbledor was near the end of his days, snape probably didnt want to see his defeat be at the hands of voldemort, so he ended it so at least dumbledor could die with some what pride still in his heart
