I still hate him for that... I loved Dumbledore crying
It made me cry! Like, seriously cry. A lot.

@Dark, I don't think so... he may have had a reason but I don't think that was it. After all it was Voldemort who was scared of Dumbledore.

@Celestial, I went into shock, I think I reread those pages like 5 times to make sure I read it right

besides, killing dumbledor fulls harry's rage, in turn, harry will grow strong to defeat V.D. and snape, it was sad but it turned out for the better

Dumbledore and Snape are both legilimens (sp?), as well as an occlumens (sp?), right?

maybe Dumbledore told Snape in his thoughts to kill him.

...Dark, you're looking into it a bit to far, sounds like denial to me. Snape was a Death Eater, he always was. Everyone knows Harry didn't need to be outraged like that. If anything, his rage would be his downfall.

what Kasu said, and thre are plenty of reasons, fir all we know it could have been to get V.D. to stop worrying enough to let down his guard. Harry knows what he needs to do

@Dark ....despite the fact that Rowling has a good reason for killing off Dumbledore I can't really see what it is yet. Fighting with fury is actually NOT a good strategy, it makes you blind to things

@Kasumi that IS possible but Dumbledore seemed genuinely surprised in the book

dumbledore always wants to believe people are innocent....thats why he got killed.

Exactly my point, fighting full of rage is often someone's downfall. It's one of my character's weakest points. She's extremely strong in the physical department, but in certain psychological areas...not so much, making her extremely vulnerable to several strategies.

IF Snape killed off Dumbledore for a reason I'm sure we'll find out in the last book. However, I don't think the reasons you are giving are Snape's, they may be Rowling's the actual creators but I don't think they are Snape's. And like Celestial and I have said, rage is actually not a wise way to fight.

Hmm... I get the feeling Malfoy isn't really cut out to be a Death Eater. If he survives it'll only be because Snape and his father are protecting him.
PostPosted: Thu Jun 14, 2007 11:54 am

Malfoys father is in jail.....and like dumbledore said, he would rather be there, because you remember he gave Ginny Weasley one of Voldemorts Horcruxes.

Yep, that's what I think too. While Malfoy is a pretty cool character if only because he's so arrogant (odd because I normally hate arrogance..), he's definitely not cut out to be a Death Eater.
