I had to do 3 years of French and 1 of German, and I now hate both languages.
This has nothing to do with the language itself, however the teachers I had have ruined both languages for me, and I now can hardly listen to them without cringing at the thought of my old teachers.

I'm taking Spanish next year in 11th grade. I would take French, but the teacher is CRAZY.

Our school goes through Spanish teachers rather quickly. I think it went through almost five teaches between my being in fifth grade to my graduation. Our French teacher is great, and she actually attempts to involve you in it, by making you speak French or not talk at all.

It was mandatory for me to take French from grade 4 to 9, and I took it for grades 10, 11 and 12, too. And then the 2 years of university-level immersion...

We had 10 weeks of Spanish and 10 weeks of French this year to decide which we would take next year.
