Just a heads up

I have a little bit of a problem that i'm desperately trying to sort out. Now that i'm back on gaia, I have found that somebody has been sending me inappropriate pictures through my pms and profile comments. It doesn't look like the harrassment is going to stop, so I've set my profile and pms to "friends only" in hope that I'll be a little cleaner. I'm really sorry if this puts anybody at a disadvantage. I just keep reporting the pms and blocking the user, but they come back with a different username. This way I KNOW i'll be protected. I'm pretty sure this person is somebody I know because they used one of my friend's names as an account and made an avitar to look like her. But since this friend never uses the internet I know it isn't her. Just a heads up to anybody who tries to contact me or saw those pictures. It isn't like me to have stuff like that, I want it gone. I don't know who has this problem with me but I'll figure it out.

Egga, if you have any proof that the people spamming you with pr0n are, in fact, all the same person, you could probably report them for harassment as well as the ToS violation ^.^

Damn.. sorry to hear that, Egga.. I actually saw the same thing (I'm guessing..?) on Ket's profile, just now. It looks like a fad with the name; "Penisman". Since there are about 10 accounts, using "Penisman" and the roman numeral for each number.. stare

Sucks, though.. I was going to your profile to see if I could find evidence that you were the one who I donated that purple kimono to. XD Forgotten who it was who I'd donated it to.. >.>;;

If you had to, you could set your PM's and profile comments, not sure about those, to friends only, that way the person would have to be your friend in order for them to post that stuff.

You're right. People can just set their comments and PMs to Friends Only. I just set my comments to Friends Only; just in case they migrate onto me.
Better to be safe than sorry, I'd say.
