Well actually my name is Rianne and I just enjoy writing, so here she goes.
I'm not really going introduce this, it will just build on itself as I move along I suppose.
I mostly started it to meet people in this guild, which is funny because you'd think I'd have more luck with some kind of introductory post on the main page, wouldn't you? But I find I always meet more interesting people posting more obscurely, because it means that those people aren't just looking to contribute to a thread on the front page and have that be the only way people get to know them.
Well, if you made sense of that, congratulations. I am off to the park to watch 'Citizen Kane' because it's black and white movie night! biggrin

Alright, so I'm sure everyone has heard the film 'Citizen Kane' mentioned once or twice in their lives, neh? Apparently it's supposed to be this hugely famous black and white film or something.
Well, let me tell you. It totally sucks. Don't bother seeing it. It is likely the worst movie you'll ever force yourself to sit through in your life.
Of course that's just my opinion, but here, let me summarize it for you: Citizen Kane is signed off by his mother to go live with some pompous rich fool, away from his abusive father. Kane grows up and becomes this insanely rich man, marries twice, divorces twice and never really has any friends. His dying words are 'Rosebud' and nobody can figure out what it means so they go on a little research mission. We listen to several characters in the movie drawl on about Kane's life and in the end we still don't find out what 'Rosebud' means until we catch some footage of workers burning up Kane's old wooden chairs and things and they toss a sled into the fire with the design of a rosebud on it, which the pompous rich fool gave to him for Christmas the first year he moved in.
And it's supposed to be this huge metaphor or something. Blehhh.
