People tend to obsess over a song for a set period of time and then move on to another, there's no thing as a favorite song.
There are, the songs who appeal most.

Gosh i have a lot of favourites and all for different reasons at the moment i adore one song from high school musical two which is "gotta go my own way" because it kinda speaks the way i felt for a while... kinda hard to explain... when i left my parents and my brother and everything behind to be with mike and this song kinda makes me think of the choices i have made even though it is sung romantically it mainly makes me think of what i left behind and why i did it to better myself it is strange to explain.
As for that i love candle in the wind, reminds me of my late nan, wind beneath my wings reminds me of my late grandad who passed away last month those songs speak a lot of truth exspecially wind beneath my wings because my grandad truely was it may sound corny but he made me realise i must do what ever i need to do to be happy as life is short and even though it hurt him me moving away he never told me so because he knew i needed to go out into the world and find my own place.

My current favorite song is "Spider-pig" from the Simpsons movie album.
I have that on my iPod.
I'm not trying to make people laugh.
It's my favorite song.
Really.
Go to iTunes and search Spider-pig.
It's there.
I'm listening to it.
