i'm not much of a artist but i have done some good tracings 1 or 2 good drawings and i'm really proud of my shadings. I don't have all my pictures online yet but here is what i do have:

this was a half trace/half drawing

this is the first drawing i ever made i only traced the cloak but 90% of it was re-done after i first traced it. everything is supposed to be black, but i had to make things lighter in order to be able to distinquish between one article of clothing and another. and no, he isn't wearing a tie, he has a jacket over a t-shirt.

Well, tracing the pictures from where ever does make it look good but your shading is GREAT, you should try to get a picture and copy it instead of drawing it. The mushroom guy off supermario on your post is a good start without tracing biggrin
