Those of you who have seen the golden compass will know what they are but for those of you that dont... In the movie instead of having your soul within your body they are real living breathing magical animals that follow you. On the Official site you can take a test and get your own but whats cool is you can ask your friends to rate your profile and your Daemon can change form according to how they rate your profile. After 12 days your Daemon will hold its form but until then anyone can help change it and mold it to fit your personality better.
