I feel so old fashioned whenever I ask this but I love embroidery and knitting. Actually any type of old art that most teenagers don't really get into now a days. So is anyone else interested in these and feel like discussing it?

Mom taught me when I was about 6 or 7 but gave up I've only picked it up again about 3 years ago. Made toques for my neices for Christmas and also socks for my nephew.

Cool. I haven't tried making socks yet. I am trying to make a blanket for my new baby sister but it may take a while. I have made a bag before and it won 2nd place when I entered it in 4-H. I've kinda been working on counted cross stitch (embroidery) lately.

A blanket would be too big for me I like 1 ball of wool projects. I've crocheted baby blankets tho. Its faster to crochet a blanket. Used Bernat's baby boucle. Its so soft my niece loved it when she was tiny. I have leftovers i might make a kitten hat from it.

I tried knitting and crochet, but I always failed miserably. redface I could never get it right. I do like embroidery, crochet, and knitting though. I just don't know how to do it right. I suppose with practice I could, but I'm a little nervous on the subject.

Naristar biggrin 3nodding I do all three I knit, crochet and Embroider Yay for crafty people i also want to learn how to make lace I once knew how to crochet and really want to learn again. Its so much easier to make blankets that way. My aunt auctually knew how to make lace or as its called "tatting" She passed away before I had a chance to learn though. I would love to learn someday but this year I am focusing on making clothing and sewing.

I don't knit very well, but I'm quite used to embroidering and I love it!
My aunt used to make wedding dresses; now her daughter owns an atellier. My mom works with her, embroidering wedding and party dresses. I love helping with it. (Please don't mind my possible grammar mistakes, I'm Brazillian)

I'm just now picking up Crocheting again and the basics always remain the same. Right now I'm working on crocheting a doll. it's gonna be a pixie.
