WELCOME TO FATAL'S PLOT THREAD!

Pretty much a place for me to collect my thoughts and plot the future with you.

Please be patient with me. I'm in the military now and have little time for rp, though I'm always willing to plot and move things along. RP itself will be slow, but I'm always happy to do some if the plot is good.

About Glitter Rock

Glitter Rock is the embodiment of a free spirit and a dreamer. She has boundless energy and often thinks about the stars and what the heavens would look like if she could fly up towards them. She bears no jealousies to those with wings; she simply wonders what it might be like. Her life is an adventure and she is always in motion, pushing forward with indomitable optimism. Her feet are always moving, but so too is her mind. She is intelligent in an understated way and never passes judgment on anyone. She has no reservations about approaching all types of soquili, though that trait tends to get her into trouble sometimes. She wholeheartedly believes that her feet can carry her far and fast enough away from any danger she may face. She is a little on the naive side in her innocence, but she is warm and loyal and always seeking new friends.

Glitter's mother is the Alpha of the Ture Spirit Herd. Glitter takes great pride in this and carries with her the ideals of the herd. She hopes to one day return to the herd and help it prosper, but had taken it upon herself to venture out into the lands to find the dangers that the herd would protect the two-leggers from and to find the ways to protect herself and others, as well as how to heal those who need it.

Glitter has a deep love of family, especially hers. She loves how large it is and that no matter where she goes, she's likely to find someone sharing her blood. She feels that having such a large and loving family brings her the greatest strength and is overjoyed that she has children of her own.

Becoming a mother has made her mature some, and having a new mate by her side has become a strengthening point. Still, this lady has a lot of life in her yet and I'd like to get ehr out more!

:::: I want her to run into either a skinwalker or just a particularly cruel and horrible monster. She is innocent and curious and she tends to approach any creature she finds. I want it to get her into serious trouble one day. **NO DEATH PLEASE** I want her to get away, of course.

This is where the savior comes in. She is no match for a skinwalker or most other monsters that are about in the world of soquili. She'll need someone strong, male or female, to help get her out of trouble. They can remain in contact or it can be a random act of kindness and nothing more. This is up to you.

~~ Perhaps some young (foal or new adult) is in need of guidance? She's wise beyond her years and has gotten into enough trouble to be able to give some advice.

She is caring and nurturing and often has a calming effect on even the most hardened traveler. She carries herself with an air of sophistication, but it never transcends into the realm of superiority. She is a natural teacher and mentor, taking it upon herself to aid any troubled mind she comes across. She has little respect for those with evil intentions and they find swiftly she can have a wicked tongue and fierce anger. She is protective over those she has taken under her wing.

Inara remembers little of her past. She knows that at one point she had a mother and father and that somehow she was separated from them when she was very young. She was raised by the two-leggers of the village and has a deep appreciation of them for their kindness. She was found wandering a ravine with a nasty head wound. Throughout her foalhood she felt that she needed to stay where she was to give her family a chance to find her. She felt that there should be someone looking for her, though she couldn't remember anything that had happened before being found by the villagers. As she grew older she could no longer ignore the nagging desire to strike out on her own and travel the lands. She has a great love for adventure and hopes that someday her wanderings will find her reunited with her family.

She will be something of an inspiration to young stallions and mares, someone to boost their confidence and self esteem as they reach adulthood. Someone to talk with who will ease their worries about what awaits them in maturity. She will also serve as a motherly figure to foals and will be more than happy to take them under her careful watch for any amount of time to teach them what she can.

Agares was a very quiet and reserved foal, though he still found himself playing with the other youngsters from time to time. He was very inquisitive and snuck away from his parents often to explore. One evening he ventured a little farther than normal, and heard strange sounds coming from a clearing. There was a flickering light and strange smells that freighted the young colt, but curiosity got the better of him. He crept around some bushes and found himself in what seemed an entirely different world. Flames rose high into the sky and strange smoke filled the clearing. There were many colors and a strange sensation rushed through the foal. He panicked and tried to run, but was disoriented and confused. His senses her overwhelmed and the next thing he knew, darkness was descending upon him. In those last moments of consciousness he saw the color filter out of his world and a strange creature approaching him.

He awoke slowly, his head feeling thick and fuzzy. He let his eyes drift before raising his head, but found himself blinking harder and harder, trying to understand why he could only see grey and white and black. There was no light, as though the sun and moon did not exist and he started to panic. He felt soothing hands upon his flank and turned his head to see that strange creature again. It walked on two legs and was almost completely furless. He wanted to be afraid, but the creature was making a soothing noise that calmed the foal. He relaxed and let the two legger stroke him gently for a long time. Agares had no concept of time anymore since he couldn’t tell what part of the day it was. He hoped his mother wasn’t too worried about him. He stood finally and gazed at the two legger for a few lingering moments before leaving to find his mother. He felt a strange connection with the creature, and knew he’d be seeing it again.

When he returned to his family he found that his mother HAD been terribly worried. She rushed to him and nuzzled him and scolded him. He nuzzled her back and apologized, but suddenly his mother took a step back from him, her eyes wide. She demanded to know what had happened. She told him his eyes were all white now, and asked him if he had seen a two legger. When he told her the tale, she nodded thoughtfully and gazed in the direction of the clearing. After a long pause she told him to go to bed. She refused to speak of the incident anymore.

It wasn’t long before Agares started to see soquili that were no longer living. The first time it happened he was frightened and ran away from it. As it happened more and more he started to learn how to tell the difference, though he was far from perfect at it. He mostly tried to ignore them and kept to himself. If he was a withdrawn colt, he was a downright distant stallion. He rarely spoke, and chose to keep to himself. As Agares grew up he learned to deal with his new lightless sight. He observed the behavior of other creatures to determine when it was day or night and tried to live in peace with the other soquili around him, if at a distance from them. After a while, however, he simply preferred to be alone and left the lands to make a solitary place for himself. He never strayed too far, however, as he visited the two-legger that had inadvertently cursed him that fateful night.

Agares is something of a solemn stallion who speaks little. His eyes appear blind, but in fact he can see things in a very different way than most soquili. As a foal he stumbled upon a two-legger shaman's ritual and interrupted it by mistake. As a result he was cursed to no longer see "reality", but to see the world as it appears in the spirit realm. He is colorblind, and sometimes even sees soquili that had passed on. Also, the sense of light and dark or day and night is gone. It is as though the entire world is cast in a gray light that allows him to see in the dark. Because of this strangeness he usually avoids other soquili and prefers to be out at night when most others are sleeping. The two-legger that had inadvertently cursed him has become a favorite companion to Agares.

~~ Agares sees spirits and perhaps word of that might have spread. Soquili that have lost family members could come to him, demanding he act as a medium between the worlds to speak to their lost ones.

*Note: it's been brought to my attention that seeing spirits is considered a "power" and is not allowed. As such, consider it his imagination. A mental disorder of sorts created from the traumatic events he witnessed as a foal. It will make the experience with others no less authentic.

Foal

~~Will rp him as adult or foal~~

Leilan is rather reserved, though far from shy. He's sweet and kind almost to a fault. He likes to be useful and feels most comfortable being a support pillar for others. He can always be counted on, whether for a shoulder to cry on or a comrade in battle. There isn't anything he wouldn't do for family or for friends. He's trusting as well as trustworthy, and is somewhat gullible in that he believes wholeheartedly in the goodness of others. To Leilan, no being is beyond salvation.

Leilan is a gentle spirit, and as kind as they come. He's strong-willed, and always willing to come to the aid of others. He comes from a vast family of good-hearted unicorns and shares their sense of adventure. He's more than willing to go on any sort of adventure and will be most at home in a protector/healer position.

~As a foal I'd like maybe a little conflict/fighting with another young male. This should be someone willing to meet Leilan again as adults for either grudges held or maybe resolving the issue and becoming friends?

~As an adult I'd like some kind of adventure. He needs to see the world and meet someone exciting!

Foal

Nita takes heavily after her father. She's on the quiet side, and is rather elusive. She prefers to stay in the shadows and observe the world, rather than take part in it.

Not much is known about Nita. She's a secretive one, always sticking to the shadows and observing the world with curious eyes. Her mother taught her the ways of being part flutter. Her father taught her about the shadows. With these skills she's become like a ghost to the soquili lands. She is calm, soft-spoken and mysterious. She offers little about herself to others and it takes a good deal of getting to know her before she'll divulge information about her family. She seems full of secrets.

Rocksteady!

Personality: Rocksteady is, as her name implies, steady. She's good-natured and wise beyond her years. She's learned a great deal from her mother in the ways of the world, but has yet to experience them herself. She's curious much as her mother was and still is, though she lacks the reckless abandon with which Glitter Rock tends to approach all situations.

She is something of a thinker and is certainly more on the quiet side. Perhaps it's her father's influence, though she isn't as manipulative as he.

Caitlin is a wicked thing. She lives to manipulate others. She can act sweet and innocent, helpless even to lure other soquili to do her bidding. She enjoys gaining the trust of any soquili, just to turn on them. She is afraid of nothing and has no problem fighting others. She prefers the company of more wicked soquili, but she trusts not even those she might count among her friends. She won't stay in one place long, not wishing to make any real attachments because deep down she is afraid to be hurt again like she was so long ago. The part of her that no one will see if a lost little girl who only wants her family back. She'd witnessed a horrible thing and felt her sister abandoned her in her time of need. Because of this she is full of anger and pain.

Caitlin is the younger sister of Inara. When the two were very young their family was attacked and their parents killed. The two foals managed to escape, but in the process both fell down a ravine and were separated. Caitlin searched frantically for her sister, but when she found her some weeks later, Inara was with a group of two-leggers and seemed not to care that her sister was still out in the dangerous world.

Caitlin never tried to contact her sister after that. She saw it as an abandonment and went out into the world on her own. She endured many hardships and grew more and more bitter as she grew. The lessons in the wild came swift and harsh and she learned that to survive in a world of monsters, she had to become one herself.

[Fatal Irony]

He grew up in darkness, listening to his father’s wild tales of the dead. Agares believes he can see the shadow world and the dead who have not yet passed to the next world. Xeria isn’t sure how much of his father’s stories are real, but he always listens patiently. Considering the shadow companion his mother, brother, and he himself has, he can’t pass his father’s stories off as complete fiction. The shadows are drawn to his family, it seems. Despite trying to lead normal lives, as some of his family members have, the shadows shall ever follow.
Xeria’s sister Nita is a prime example. She had gone out into the world, straying from the darkness, but she is a shadow herself. She can’t hide the darkness around her or the way she tends towards the darkness rather than the light. Still, she has found happiness in the light and has brought home a stallion that Xeria admired as a foal. Galahad was so brave and strong and was the shining ray of hope and salvation for all those he met. Xeria became fond of the idea of being a hero, but he knew the light was not his place. As he grew he became the King of the Shadows, a dark hero that protected those that found themselves in trouble while in his domain. He himself is a shadow, materializing from the shadows to save the day, then gone again into darkness before even a thank you can be uttered.
He, like most of his family, is a calm and rather quiet sort, though more outgoing than Nita, perhaps. He loves to smile and laugh, and tends to be very optimistic and happy. He has no fear, but he isn’t reckless. He has a deep love of his family, especially Nita to whom he has become quit close. He’ll seek her approval in all things, especially when it comes to finding a mate.

White/gray Ethereal wing-like pattern around her eyes.

(Pretty much have fun with the hair <3) On her right foreleg (the one farthest from you) silver armor-like bracelet (just kind of a big bangle?) with swirling details and some red jewels and a few small red or black spikes. (maybe something armor-like on the shoulder, if that's not too much edits?) On the other leg, a smaller bracelet, sort of bangle-style with a red gem in it. Around her neck a silver chain with a charm with a red glowing gem (see reference). Match this on a simple charm (just the moon part maybe?) across her forehead that hangs from a double-chain (tiny chains)

As for the wings, I'm going to go with... the larger wings, please <3

The Idea:

The idea behind Micah was something of a jaded knight. Her theme will be Valor. "Valor is courage exhibited in war, and can not be applied to single combats; it is never used figuratively."

The Personality:

Even as a foal she was rather serious and combative, but only to those who picked on the weaker foals or against animals that were hostile. She was always protecting, never attacking. Her parents were always encouraging of this trait, teaching her the honor in serving others. She grew up learning humility and duty, often helping out the elderly or infirm. As she grew she became more respected in the Angeni community, serving as their Sentry and Avenger. She was proud of this task, and happy to come to the aid of any Angeni in distress.

Things changed for her when one day she returned from a mission to find her home in ruins and her parents dead. Among the mess she found the feathers of an Angeni and her heart sank. Disillusioned, she left the home of the Angeni to seek answers to the darkness that seemed to poison every part of the land.

She will wander the lands, doing as much good as she can, honor-bound to help anyone in need, but she will feel lost under the crushing evil that spreads over the lands like wildfire. She is stoic and rather morose, always mourning over the loss of purity and innocence in the lands. Many that she encounters deny her assistance, adding to her feelings of helplessness and hopelessness. Despite all of this, she is a Knight still, and has a strong will. She is wise and compassionate, and although she is slow to smile, it could warm any crowd. She forgets to relax and have fun most times as she always feels her Duty is undone. She's at a loss when it comes to the fallen Angeni that have been cropping up. She had always served the Angeni community faithfully, but when so many have been coming out darker and destructive it makes her question where her loyalties should lie



PLOTS:


(note: I'm not taking on any plots right now. These are just my ideas I'm keeping here so I don't lose them. These will open when I receive her)

~~This plot needs a strong male figure to be eventual Lifemates! Do not read further if you don't want that to be the end result!~~

Confused about what path she should now take and torn between the desire for Vengeance, and the need to remain pure of heart and deed, she will run into a stallion that will test her will. This should be either a darker male, though "evil" necessarily need not be the case or a good male that might advice her that sometimes unpleasant things are necessary in the pursuit of justice. Someone who will further blur the lines of good and evil in her mind and who might show her that vengeance can also be an honorable path. He could go with her to find the murders of her family and destroy them, pushing her into a realm of despair for herself.

Part of her will be satisfied with the outcome and feel her parents were avenged, but another part of her will feel regret and shame for her deeds. She will guard this part of herself, trying to forget the pain of soiling her hands in such a way. Shortly after she will be found with foal, and for a while her motherly instincts will take over and she will seem at peace. However, as one of her foals grows she notices that it is a terrible monster that delights in the pain of other creatures. Blaming herself for the evil of the child, she will dive into a temporary insanity. During this lapse she will inflict terrible pain on the soquili of the lands, murdering innocents and causing damage to everything in sight. (perhaps not murder for real, maybe just wound but she views it as murder in her fevered mind) The father of her children will have to calm her, and bring her around. He will either talk her into accepting the evil and lead her to darkness, or teach her that sometimes evil is necessary and bring her more into a neutral or even good alignment. She is pure of heart at the core of her, and I think that despite her regrets she can yet find redemption and peace.

Updated her personality and added the plot of wanting her to be taught how to heal from another unicorn. <3
