I am looking to buy a new Wii game, and I want to purchase Pokemon Battle Revoluton. I have heard mixed reveiws about it and was hoping to find some help here. Is it worth bying?
Also, I do own Pokemon Diamond, which I heard is a good thing to have if buying Pokemon Battle Revlution.

Without Diamond or Pearl, Pokemon Battle Revolution would definitely be pretty worthless.
Outside of that, I think it's a valuable (albeit pricey) add-on to Diamond and Pearl. No new adventures, and new frustrations, but lots of new options. It's best to think of it that way.
So, if you're looking to spend 50$ on a game, Pokemon Battle Revolution is probably not for you.

It's all wireless and, even better, you don't send your pokemon up. Instead, Pokemon Battle Revolution is a copy of all the pokemon in your game. 3nodding

I'd say that seeing before you buy is a really good idea in this case. I mean, it's not like there's a story to spoil.
