This is the starting few paragraphs. Unfortunately my computer isn't going and this is all that I can find. Please tell me what you think:

Chapter one is up now. My story is Vague, but I'm working on it.

I am writing this to tell you all about my history, my present and to save my future.

I shall never get my story out to the world because if he knew what world I ran too, what life I have now, compared to my old one. It would mean the end of my story. I am going to tell you the tale of the time when I was young- far younger than i am now. I am going to tell you the tale of the day that everything changed.

I was creeping down the dark marble hall to see my father. He had been very sick for the past week now. Ever since my uncle arrived. I never liked my uncle before this day either.

The first time I meant my uncle was a few days before my father became ill. He wore a warm smile with dark and horrid eyes. Some say peoples eyes give away their soul or their personality. My uncle's eye did that. They told me that he was a evil person who would stop at nothing to get what he wanted.

As i crept down the cold hall. The door at the far end, that was my fathers room, clicked opened. Some one was coming out. I had to hide. Lucky being as young as i was it was easy. I darted under a table and hid between the desk chair and the wall.

The dark figure walked towards me holding a jug of water and a glass. he stopped infront of me. I could only see the slippers on his feet. they were the same as the ones my uncle had wore that night. It must have been him.

He pulled something out of the robe he was wearing. It must have been corked because i remember the noise of the cork coming out. Then I remember the noise of the liquid being pored into the glass or jug.

The next thing I knew he was walking back towards my fathers room. The door clicked shut. He was gone but would come back out in a minute. It was true. He was in and out within a minute. I waited in my hiding spot and waited for him to leave the hall.

Moments later had left the hall and I heard the click of his room door shutting. Carefully coming out from my hiding space, trying not to make a noise. I waited for a moment when I got out to hear if anyone was coming. I heard nothing. So I quietly made for my Fathers door.

I never seen my dads door in the dark, But it was just as beautiful to look at in the dark. I reached for the door and clicked it opened and I walked in as not to wake my father. He was sitting up with his eyes closed. I tip toed to the end of his bed and waited.

Part two:
Slowly his eyes opened, his weary eyes locked on mine. They begged me to come and cuddle him. So I carefully crawled over the velvet duvet cover, and lay next to him. His eyes fallowing me the whole time, I didn’t realized till I had my head lying softly on his chest that he was humming our favorite lullaby.
“I love you daddy” I whispered softly looking at him.
I don’t think every noticed before the feelings that showed in his eyes. Yes that night I saw them, those milk chocolate, with a caramal center shone with so much emotions. Those two eyes filled with love and hope for the future.

My eyes got heavy after that, and I lay with him humming along to our favorite lullaby. I was woken in the morning by sobbing at my feet. I was so little then, I didn’t understand. My father was dead yet I told the female, my cousin rose, who was sobbing at the end of the bed. I told her to stop, so she didn’t wake my father, he was sick and needed his rest.

Days or months after than, I remember running away. I can’t quiet remember now. It was one of those things that you think children would only say and never do, but my uncle was wrong. I did, I ran away to this amazing little place called earth.

Now I live in a little town called Napier. The streets are paved (mostly in the central city), with little houses everywhere. Harmony really? I live with my new family, three brothers and one sister. All run-a-way’s, which means we’re all, not related, it’s great in a way. Jessikah, my sister is a bit round, but very cute. Paul, the oldest of my brothers is a man slut, then again so it Josh, (my dark skinned brother). Last but not least Jon, a hand full at times, but the whole family is amazing!

Now most of you are wondering where Napier is? Well if you go to the very bottom of the world, yes that little place of New Zealand, it’s on the east side of the north island, at the bottom of the huge bay, Hawks bay. It’s very green, in spring, then summer hits and its like thirty degrees Celsius, or about eighty-six degrees Fahrenheit.

Very intriguing. I want to read more. There are a couple of problems with sentence separation, but you've got style going there. Nice work.

Chapter One:
The Deadly Truth!

Omg! This day could not get any better. Thank heavens for birthdates. Well that and Sexy new guys. My best friend and I sat there in the quad at school, in our usually lunch spot. There was tall, dark, and handsome- well that was her dream guy. Not mine; mine was his best friend- Tall blond and tank. Yummy! We didn’t know their names, nor did we care. It was my birthday so I had the right to start at the top self desserts.
My broken ankle was fine it was raining. I still couldn’t think how my last birthday at school was going to bad. I was just stittng there in the sun checking out the new tasty treats. Yes, I was meaning the new boys too. U wasn’t the only one staring at them, the read of my friends were too.
The bell rang just as the sexy new boys finished playing basket ball. One jumped shot into the hoop. Glad I at least they could run around. Lucky them! Surprisingly they strolled over to us. On there own two feet with out blasted crutches and hobbling around with out them. They didn’t have to worry about stepping in the puddles outside the doors. Oh how I just wanted my ankle to be better.
“Wants some help up” Asked the blond. His voice was smooth and calming. How could you be anger at him for being able to run around all day? Lucky p***k!
“No! I’m good.” Lucky for me I was good liar. I always struggled to get up with my bum ankle. He already had his bag on his shoulder, and stood like he was waiting for some one. Every one else had left including his tall dark friend
“Are you sure?” He asked gain as I just about fell over. The process if u was sitting on the grass was to get both knees and use my good leg and the table to help me up. Upper arm muscles were bliss at times like his. Plus it helped in the crutches too. They were a pain in the hands.
“Latest let me help you to class?” Why was this guy being so pushy? It’s not like I am the only person in the world to have a broken ankle. I couldn’t help but roll my dark eyes.
“Come on… its only just a few metres away.” He was right. I was on my way to art, and he health. Well that’s what I was guessing. So He just ambled along beside my along the concrete corridor and through the small arch. My class room was on the left. He kindly opened the door for me.
“Thanks.”
“No Problem.” So much for going to health! He was coming in after me. I smiled and disappeared off to the back room. All the usual senior students did their art out the back. My wall was cover in creepy looking drawings of skulls.
“Girls, this is Jake.” Our Art teacher Stated. Showing him to a seat next to mine! Great now I have to sit next to the sexy new boy. Yay but crap! It’s like he is stalking the only girl who couldn’t get away from him. Why me? Why not every other girl in the world? Okay, calm down. It’s not the end of the world until he actually does s tart stalking me, right?
“So, I didn’t catch your name before?” He asked me with a cheeky smile. He really was stalking me but I had to be nice. So much for a good birthday, get a stalker and have to be nice to them.
“Names Emily, Em.” I faked a pleasant smile. I hate being asked what my name is, it’s not like it’s hard to get from some one else. If I gave out my name to often then he might come get me. Well that was just my big paranoia about it, always in the back of my mind.
“Your name is very cute, like you.” Great now he was flirting with me. Fantastic! Sure I was checking him out before, but it’s a look. Not talking or touching! Doesn’t this guy know the rules around dating! Well okay… maybe not dating but the exchange of interest in others of the opposite sex and species. I’m so glad I am an alien some times!
I just ignored the man while I began to sketch out the rest of this creamy looking skull with pink tassels. My laptop was set up playing some kind of interesting music- Lily Allen I think. He edged his chair closer to mine after the song finished.
I looked at him threw my sandy hair. He seems fixated on my sketch now. I finished it up carefully, before pulling out some paints and water. A yellow wash flowed over the whole thing before I added a teal green for shading. The human skull in the outlining frame was unique to my way for painting. I hated painting but didn’t care. This picture rocked. I was so focused on the art I was doing, I didn’t even notice how close he was. My hand glided over my work, with the pink ink pen, fallowing the traces of outline from the sketch before, it was fallowed by a brown ink pen. The two colours giving an outstanding effect- Contrast of light and dark. My hand grasped for the caracole pencil beside my pad.
I felt something warm and not cold and rough. I turned to see his eyes glazed over, like mine often do. His hand holding the charcoal pencil sketching something, or some one, I sigh and grabbed my actually pencil with wood around the outside of the caracole. I hated it, but it would have to do. As soon as I stated saluting out the image I got back into the glazed focus that most people did.
The bell rang just as I finished, it always managed to shake my glazed focus on art. I stretched out forgetting all about who was around me and how I was going to get to my next class.
“That picture looks fantastic!” Reality hit me as he leaned over my world. It was prefect in my eyes. A long time since that had happened.
“Thanks.” I blushed. I noticed he had used my brushed but cleaning up after himself. Good stalker boy.
“So what class go you have now?” I had study but I wasn’t about to tell him that. I love my alone study periods listening to music and typing out anything I needed too. Of course there is the math study in there as well, but only a little.
“Study,” He frowned at that. Yay for Wednesdays! “What do you have?”
“I think it is gateway.” He answered pulling out his time table. Those things are seriously hard to read if you don’t know what you are reading. I put of my hand nicely for it, which he handed it too me.
“No. you have Hospitality.” I answered him with a smile. Pointing out it was HOS, not G.T.W. which he had last and I had Biology. Thank gods for that, plus he didn’t know that either.

It always took me five minutes more than everyone else to get to study in the library. Also lucky for me there was a plug down stairs by the couches, so I could lay along them with my ankle up. My music echoed in the one and a half story building. To describe it is easy. The upstairs part is only half the way along the room. A glad gives an 18 foot selling look. Then the rest of the upstairs had the study area, with a small conference room and a Video room for all those who did distance learning.
Down starts under the study area and video room was a computer room with 32 computers, and then the rest was a library. The couches lay along the outside walls underneath the conference room, along with the fiction section of our library.
I usually would go upstairs but my ankle prevented me for doing that, hence my sitting down stairs. The head boy came and sat on the other couch, a pad and a pile of books in his arms.
“Haven’t finished the Biology essay yet?” I asked him. He looked up at me with half a smile when I noticed that it was health stuff he was carrying.
“No. Health,”
“Didn’t you just have that though?” He smiled at me and nodded. It was the only class we didn’t have together ironically! That as well as I opted out of it at the start of the year, wanting to do art more than health
I yawned, after this every one was meeting upstairs about the ball, so boring but necessary because of the fact that it was in four weeks.
“Got a date for the ball?” I asked turning back to my laptop and the game of Tetris I was playing. Man that game is addictive compared to all other games out there. It's like space invaders and Pac’ man.
“No. You?”
“Nah….” A simple exchange of words nothing meaning full. That was left for the drunken after ball. Good times, good times!
“I think Jake likes you,” Great everyone knew I had the stalker now, proberly cause I am just so great.
“As if… I’m the cripple remember.” I answered him while placing a block causing a line to collapse.
“So… he was staring at you threw the whole of chemistry,”
“He was in Chemistry?” Now I was confused, I only noticed him during break playing basket ball.
“Yeah, with the year 12’s,”
“Oh, that may explain it,” So he was stalking me before art. Great, I really hoped he didn’t ask me to the ball.
Study ended in a blur of Tetris and Pac’ man! I loved study for those two reasons.

I was already with my ticket for my fabulous date. Jess: My date wasn’t a guy, but a girl. She was my other best friend. I had gone to the Sacred Heart/St. Johns’ college Ball.
There ball was all about themed Old English, so lots of dresses with corsets, etc. Really cool looking. A knight in shinnying armour, Chandlers! Plus it was at the best place. There was hit old ancient house on cemetery hill, just outside the city. It had been built just after the Middle Ages here, so it pretty much matched the theme
Tamatea’s school ball on the other hand was a mask ball. Our Masks matched every bit, plus I had a group of friends coming from Sacred Heart and St Johns. It was looking to be quiet fun. I hadn’t been asked to the ball by any one yet. That include stalker boy Jake. Who remarkable had got the hint on the first day and left me pretty much to myself. He did help me through doors which I was great full for.
“Eh, all be welcometh for thee nights festivities.” We had all these hired circus people for us to make it as cool as possible. Pretty much everyone in the senior school turned up, with a few friends and partners.
“Wow, this is lovely.” Jess whispered in my ear.
“Now, my lady,” I stepped away from her holding out my hand as if we were to dance. She giggled and took my hand. Together we lead each other to the dance floor. As The academic leader at school, I was responsible for the music.
My band selection was made purely by accident one night. The band was great, but everyone was confused at who they were.
It was during the holidays that I had been a d**k. I was talking to my second cousin while down in wellington city. We were talking music and his band comes up. It’s very handy having a second cousin who is part of The Checks. Bassist I think.
Anyway I was being a d**k and I blurted out that his band should play at my school ball. Two days later I got a phone call to say that they were. When I informed the head girl she almost thought I was joking. So did everyone else.
“Eyes’ like candy scent like brandy, they sent you from above.” Sang the lead singer as everyone began to dance, Alex singing beside him just for the song. Everyone one swung around the dance floor. Our church setting was prefect for the theme, in some ways.
“Emi-kinns; this is great!”
“I know. Jessikah,” We both smiled as we did a piss take of the waltz. No one cared. It was all about having fun. Plus seeing as we were older, later we were heading into town to go clubbing.
“Excuse me, may I have the next dance.” Jessikah gave me a strange look but none the less I let the voice have the next dance with me.
“Emily?” It was Cleary Jake. He was the only one to call me Emily, Not Em, just Emily.
“Yes Jake?”
“Do you know a family called the Grims’?”
“Yes, years ago maybe why do you ask?” It was my father’s best friend’s family before he died and I ran away.
“Do you remember me?” That was a stupid question. I only used to play with the youngest one; I can’t remember playing with a boy or a girl for that matter.
“Maybe, I don’t know. Why?”
“Come one Emily. Think… It was before your father died!”
I had to step away from him then. How did he know about that? No one else knew. I have this prefect little lie about my family. No one, not even my best friends now know about it. It was unthinkable that I had lived any where else.
“Who are you?” My voice broke as I whispered it. I really hope he didn’t work for my uncle. That was the worst thing ever.
“I’m Jake.” He was sincere but confusing.
“How do you know about my father?”
“I was at his funeral and everything else. Emily, I’m from the same twisted world as you. Charlie and I are here looking for you. His sister,”
I slapped him. No one could know about this. With him here it ruined everything. If any one found out it would be the end of my little sinful life. I turned and walked away. Jessikah would cheer me up. She always did.
***
“Charlie, I didn’t work. She looked so afraid.” Jake spoke into his cell phone out in the hall. He wasn’t having any one hear this conversation. Emily would hate him even more now. She hated him since the first day, but he guessed that because of his pushy-ness around her and the ankle thing.
“What do you mean trap her? I can’t do that.” Jake shocks his head. This was a bad idea, He had told Charlie that. Jake’s Idea was for Charlie just to turn up and tell her to stop hiding. It was Charlie’s idea to win her trust.
“Family my butt, she didn’t want anything to do with it. Almost looked like she was about to kill me to keep it safe.” He sighed into the phone. “It’s not worth it any more. We can go on looking with out her.”
What no one had told her was that her, sister had also gone missing. Well that was the theory. No one knew where she was any more. With Two out of the three missing and one gone A-wall, who was left to rule their countries? Jake couldn’t rule, and Charlie was already ruling, but could ask Jake to rule one with out consent from two out of the three triplets.
“I’ll try again.” Jake closed his phone to look up. She was standing in front of him, arms crossed and a scowl in her eyes.
“Who do you work for?”
“Charlie.”
“Charlie whom?”
“Your Half brother.”
“What the hell does he want?” Her voice was full of anger. He had never in his life seen her angry. She had always been calm and collected because of the attitude of her father.
“He wants your help.”
She sighed and rubbed the side of her head, where her temples were. “Well he owes me hugely then,”
“So that is a yes?”
“For now!”
Jake leaped at her and hugged her. She was awkward, didn’t even make an effort to hug him back.
“You owe me too!”
“Like hell I do.” He stated as he realised her from the awkward hug, a huge grin on his face, like she had told him that she was going to marry him. Not just help find her family.
