roles

hero
hero's party (as in those traveling with the hero)
annoying character
mentor
supporting character
villain

you don't have to use these, these are just if you don't know any

Most likely the annoying/hyper protagonist.

Other roles: abused character (like Kenny from South Park), Mary-Sue (like Bella from Twilight), anti-hero (does noble deeds out of selfishness or is mostly apathetic about conflict but agrees to help), etc.
