Personality: 'Will is somewhat cold and distrustful. Her introduction to the world, after all, was being taken from her mother and father and left on a stranger's doorstep. However, with her distrust, comes maturity. Once the heat of the moment has passed, 'Will is willing and able to admit when she's wrong....she just doesn't do so pleasantly. She's hard to get close to and reluctant to admit tender feelings for someone or something. Perhaps she hasn't met the right person yet to break through her shell...

Personality: The "old man" of the group, Finster is a gentle and fatherly sort, though he's rather skittish as well. Upon first meeting him, he seems painfully shy, but once he's established that you do not intend to harm him, he will open up pleasantly enough. He puts full trust in his friends and encourages them to do the same for him as attempting to solve (or at least ease) others' problems is one of his greatest joys. His one worrying trait is that, despite his fear of being hated or abused, he seems to gravitate toward the very people who would do him exactly those injustices.

Identifiable Traits: Twill's colorations greatly resemble the regal and elusive Emeraldback Lionfish
Personality: Twill is what many would call a jerk, but in reality he's just very frustrated and insecure. His earliest memory was being pulled from the water by Karma and Finster while he was still within his basket after an early-spring storm. Its a small wonder he didn't drown, really, but rather than count his blessings, Twill has chosen to focus on the negatives. He has invented his own tragic story of his past wherein his parents abandoned him shortly after he had been birthed. The only one who cared enough to touch his basket and bless it with any essense at all was a passing lionfish after the storm had pulled his basket into the water.
Whether there is any truth to this story is anyone's guess, but don't try and tell him otherwise...

Mate: None
Personality: Finnalli is a well-meaning sort and seems to actively try to resist the mischief most raccoons are infamous for. However, not even he is immune to the call of shinies and sugar. To 'Will, he behaves in a fawning and adoring manner as he believes her to be his reason for existing (she DID pull him out of a swamp. ...not that she meant to.). He once even stole a large handful of bright blue feathers to decorate her with in thanks as she slept. The jury is still out on whether that was an appreciated gesture or not....
Background: Finnalli's origins, exactly, are unknown. It is assumed he lived a typical woodland raccoon existance, however. His life was very nearly ended on a rather premature note as, on one of his daily explorations, the branch he was crossing broke and deposited him in the midst of a thick, mirey swamp. Struggling only made him become more ensnared in weeds and scum and, by all appearances, he seemed done for. Fate, however, smiled upon him as a young mare named Whipporrwill happened by. ...Or rather, in. As her footing failed while trying to cross the swamp via several jutting rocks, Finnalli clung to her ankle with the last of his strength and, as she struggled ashore, was carried to safety. Seemingly oblivious to the fact that 'Will wanted nothing to do with him, Finnalli pledged his eternal loyalty to the filly for saving his life. Whether she likes it or not, she's acquired a minion.

Personality: Spunky and adventurous, North Star loves nothing more than investigating new territory. However, when it comes to matters of importance, she is incredibly no-nonsense about handling them.
Background: There is little known about North Star at this time. She was found with Ice Crystal's basket in a nearby tangle of shrubbary and, having scented the infant soquili within, had bonded with him sight unseen and recognized the need to protect him from all outside elements.

Whipporrwill A curiously-large basket arrived at the flap of Karma's teepee early one morning conveniently close to her birthday.Much to her surprise, a dark foal leapt from the basket several days later...and promptly ran away from home O_o;;Whiporrwill returned home to Karma as a fully-grown mare. Though still a bit ominous, she seemed to have mellowed out a bit. Enough, at least to remain in Karma's vicinity and allow herself to be cared for.'Will with a splash of color added to herself. Somehow she held still long enough to become bedecked in pale blue feathers and warpaint. She looks lovely.
Finster A small and aged unicorn stallion approached Karma's teepee one night, seeking shelter from a rather damning storm. Despite the fact no one knows quite where he came from, he is a very meek and very gentle sort. Almost the exact opposite of Whipporrwill herself
Iris When the storm that brought Finster to Karma's dwelling had ebbed, this basket was found outside of the teepee with no explanation or reason. It was almost as though it had come on the tail of the storm itself...From the basket came a foal the color of a stormcloud with a brilliant rainbow mane. She seems playful and friendly enough and loves to frolic after storms.
Ice Crystal Another basket...? This one was being staunchly guarded by a smallish white-and-green she-wolf when Karma stumbled across it.A spunky blue foal emerged from the basket, the wolf that was guarding him now a loyal friend and protector. He seems not to fear a thing in the world.
Twill When one is fishing at night, one does not generally expect to pull ashore a wayward Soquili basket. But, as no one claimed it, it too came to reside in Karma's care...The foal emerged, bearing the coloration of a regal lionfish. He seems a bit reluctant to warm up to anyone and prefers to spend his time alone. In the company of others, he often comes across as defensive and cold...it may be related to not knowing who or where his family has gone. |
