Sand easily blew onto the field and landed near the outer edge of the deemed matching zone and quickly formed a pile. The pile started out simple, but then continued to be added onto. At first, one might have thought two small pillars were forming, then an arch as they connected a little further up. The more sand that blew in, the more detail arose until finally, a fully sand-made Jono was standing there, his right eye the only thing that was not a sandy color as it observed the fight with great detail.

Zane arrived on the field of ice. He looked down at it and realized that it could break at any second. "Heh...this is perfect, I have the field advantage here," exclaimed Zane as he noticed that Jono was there already. "I wonder where Hero-sensei has dissapeared to? Oh well. I have to do my best!" shouted Zane as he began to stretch his muscles for the fight.

Luo's clone arrived on the ice just far enough away from the match as to not disturb it, but close enough to see. It then waved its hands and yelled, "You can do it Zane! Show them what the mist can do!"

Jono chuckled at the words of the Genin supporter and merely waited for Sano's arrival onto the scene. "I hope he'll use those new techniques I taught him at least." The thought rang through his mind as his right eye began to push forward. Popping out of his head, it rose above him so it wasn't restricted by the socket and could see freely just above his hat.

Zane was embarassed at his teammate's arrival but at the same time it made him more determined. "Luo's watching...there's no way I can lose!" Zane exclaimed as he waited for Sano to show up.

Sano approached the patch of ice specified in the directions he was carrying. He looked up and realized Zane was already there, so he began inching his way forward slowly. Sano reached the forzen lake and slipped. He almost fell, but regained his composure quickly. Shaking his head he continued until he was six paces from Zane. "Alright, so I guess you can go first this time...Let's try and hurry this up now, shall we?" Sand began itching up Sano's legs like the all to familiar times he had created this armor again. This time, though, it was different. More powerful. Alive.



-Name: Panku Suna no Yoroi (Bursting Sand Armour)
Description: This is an improved version of the sand armour. Instead of simply blocking damage from affecting the users body the armour now actually ‘fights back’. When a blow against the armour is struck instead of simply cracking the armour bursts outward sending sharp shards of concentrated sand directly back at the attacker. The user has no control over how the shards fly but it is extremely difficult and dangerous to attack a person using this skill unless done from a distance.

Zane sighed, "Well if I remember correctly, I was the one that started last time but okay," exclaimed Zane as he made his handsigns. "Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu!" Zane cried out as a clone made out of water appeared beside him. "Alright you know what to do," Zane told the clone as it jumped back behind Zane and took a defensive stance. "Now lets start the same way as before...Mizu Shuriken no Justsu," exclaimed Zane as he formed 10 water shurikens and launched them straight at Sano. Using his projectile control to make the shurikens travel at a much faster pace.

Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu (Water Clone Technique)
Description: Creates one or multiple identical copies of the original out of water. More similar to Kage Bunshin then a regular Bunshin, water clones are capable of attacking, except each clone is roughly 1/10 the power of the original. The water clone can perform one jutsu that the user also knows once. It must be a water elemental jutsu. One solid hit will destroy the clone

Suiton: Mizu Shuriken no Jutsu (Water Release: Water Shuriken Technique)
Description: Through the use of water manipulation, the user can create multiple small shuriken comprised of water and launch them towards the target. After hitting and/or cutting a solid surface, they revert to water. It is important to note that these shuriken can be physically launched (by hand) or launched as they are created.

Yadama Furooseigyo (Projectile Control Skill)
Description: A basic skill for those learning to master the art of wind control. With the ability to control air currents the user can utilize them to their advantage when throwing projectiles such as kunai or shuriken, using the wind to aid the speed and trajectory of their weapon. Someone with a 5 in control would only be able to give it a slight boost in power, while someone with a control of 40 could make them fly twice as fast.

Sano sighed along with Zane. "Deja Vu, huh?" Sano rose up from the ground and Sano sent the blobs flying towards towards the speeding water shuriken. The shuriken collided and once again Sano was peppered with small bits of water. "Now, if I remember correctly, my next move was a Genjutsu, no?" Sano formed handsigns and looked towards Zane in the exact same way that he had in the previous fight. If Zane were to look closely, however, the hand signs were different. Then, from behind Zane, a large hand from sand rose up from under the ice, shattering it on impact. The hand then made a grabbing motion towards Zane hoping to catch Zane in his trick.

Name: Suna Shuriken (Sand Shuriken)
Description: Creates shuriken out of sand. Uses a small amount of chakra and uses sand and hardens it to pose as a shuriken. The sand shuriken may be created from any source of sand and launched to an opponent by the user. Requires extra chakra to "throw" the shuriken if you do not throw it yourself.

Name: Suna Futoiude (Great Arm of Sand)
Description: A huge arm forms from the sand, and tries to grab the enemy with it's large clawed hand. This jutsu usually forms an intro to Sabaku Kyuu, but can also be used as a shield or powerful punch. The arm can be guided, and stretch easily beyond 50 feet in length.

Zane was distracted by Sano that he didn't see the arm of sand burst through the ice underneath him. Suddenly, Zane's water clone tackles the real Zane out of the way just in time. Zane and the clone both jump to their back to their feet. Zane's clone jumps behind him and takes a defensive stance. "Heh...nice trick, my turn," Zane exclaims as he forces a handsign and looks straight at Sano. "Isonagi no Jutsu!" A pair of pincers burst through the ice in an attempt to grab Sano by the ankles and bring him down into the water.

Isonagi no Jutsu (Beach Crab)
Description: A jutsu that can only be used on water or atop loose soil (sand, non-rocky aerated dirt, etc,) this technique causes a pair of pincers to rise out of the ground/water and grasp the target by the ankles before pulling him underground/water. An important difference between this technique and Doton: Shinjuu Zanshu is that in this technique the target is fully enveloped in the earth or water. If strong enough, the target can break free, due to the loose earth. Water is less efficient because of its fluidity, and the target not held long. There is something to be said, though, for the change in momentum that can occur when you force an opponent to abandon all thoughts save survival.

Sano jumped quickly as the pincers burst through the ice and sand began to form under him. Then, Sano seemed to keep rising until he was a good distance above the ice. He quickly formed a few seals and the sand around Zane grew fins and circled him, breaking the ice as it went. Suddenly, two sharks flew out of the water and headed towards both Zane and his clone.

Jutsu's Element: N/A
Description: Sand control required. This is essentially a jutsu created by sand users that couldn't control the element of wind, but still wanted to fly. The user places small pads of sand under their feet to start and use those as initial place holders, causing the user to rise. Using this alone, the user is able to gently glide around, but only at low speeds. When the user wants to move onto the faster, they could try using the initial settings, but it would only end in failure. For higher speeds, they must lean forward and provide one large pad for the chest to keep them up and therefore taking off the need for the feet pads to provide balance and focus solely on the thrust. Additional control can be attaining by the user forming small spheres of sand in their hand to allow for sharper turning and rolling. Although handy to have, the user must practice a great deal or they will loose their balance and fall, which is why it is still limited in its speed.

Name: Suna Same (Sand Shark)
Description: Forming the necessary seals, the user channels chakra into the sand beneath them, forming it into a small shark, about the length of the users arm. The shark is capable of swimming beneath the sand at considerable speed, and leaping out at will to bite at an opponent. Given the overall size of the shark, it is not capable of inflicting serious injury unless it is able to latch on and the opponent is unable to remove it. Several sharks can be created with this technique.

As the sharks headed straight for Zane and his clone, Zane used one of his hands to perform the hand signs for his next attack. "Mizu Peretto!" Zane cried out as he took a huge breath and spit out two bullets of water that punched through the sand sharks. Then he took another deep breath and aimed at Sano, spitting out three bullets of water at Sano.

Mizu Peretto (Water Pellet)
Description: An enhanced Uo Tsuba, instead of a stream, it is a bullet that impacts the enemy at high speed (though with blunt force,) and it is roughly about the size of a fist.

Sano cursed as he tried to drop as fast as possible, but one of the bullets clipped him in the left shoulder. Sano was sent spinning towards the ice with grains of sand floating all around him. A few yards away from the ice, Sano was able to stop himself again, and he stepped down. He looked down towards his shoulder and saw the sand had been blown away. "Mother..." A few hand signs later and the sand rose up and formed a rope in Sano's hand. He charged at Zane, throwing a few kunai in front of him to draw out his clone, and then used the rope as a whip in order to catch Zane in it.

"Heh...you're really intent on getting rid of my clone huh? Well sorry buddy, but I can't let you do that," said Zane as he gathered his chakra and using his wind control, a strong wind current began to flow around his feet until the wind enveloped around him blowing fiercely, "Kaze no Yoroi," smiled Zane as the shurikens become part of his armor. Then the whip was also caught in the wind and if Sano didn't let go, he would have been dragged into the armor because he was holding onto the other end.

Kaze no Yoroi (Armor of Wind)
Description: The user utilizes his chakra and the wind around him to create a whirlwind around himself. The wind forms a circle around the user, five feet in radius, so ten feet in diameter. The wind picks up debris and acts as armour for the user. The wind armour lasts for five posts. Debris on the ground strengthens the armour and projectiles thrown towards the wind also become part of the armour. A taijutsu user is useless against the armour. A genin who gets caught in the wind will become part of the armour, Chuunin will be knocked back five feet, and a Jounin will be knocked back two feet. An elemental jutsu is useless against the armour, but if one is used against the armour it weakens it greatly. Two posts after an elemental jutsu is used against the Kaze no Yoroi the armour is dispelled.
