I've never had to do that with an N64 cartridge, but I distinctly remember doing it with the NES games.

I remember seeing that, I think it's a fanpage though. I also think I became a fan of that. Anyway, I've had to do it with NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, N64... really everything that requires a cartridge, save for my DSlite. xd
