Just saying."- My dad on how me and my brothers are "acting" because our step mom is to tired to go to the fireworks later, and she just can't take a nap, its just unheard of if your tired to sleep huh. Well, I hope everyone else is having a good 4th of July, I'm stuck at home doing nothing.

I was going to post an "Annual National Holidays of Varying Names and Dates" thread this week, but I forgot.

Thursday (July 1st) was Dominion Day aka Canada Day up here in Canadialand. I hid out in my house and avoided the crowds, and listened to the fireworks while soaking in the bathtub.

Today, in honour of USA Day, I went to work. Then I listened to the pre-game blabber at the Commonwealth Stadium (it's a home game for the Edmonton Eskimos, the local Canadian Football League team) while pestering my brother and/or waiting for a bus home. I am sure the crazies in my neighbourhood who like to illegally set off fireworks at the drop of a hat will explode some explodie things tonight. I would watch the Leverage marathon tonight if I had cable. Leverage is awesome.

In any case, at least my avatar is dressed appropriately.

Isn't it ironic that I'm in the military... and on our nation's most patriotic day I have to work. AWESOME! 8D But... I'm off now. At dark-thirty. : It wasn't a very good day at all. They wouldn't even let me go up to the flight deck to watch fireworks. -____-;;

I went to fireworks with my mom, sister and niece. Earlier we had a cookout with my brother. It was tasty.
