Important question for all the guys and gals...

So as many of you may or may not know, jimsheep (my brother and resident ATG lurker extraordinaire) is getting married in a few weeks. My mom is putting together baskets to go in the washrooms at the reception hall.

If you were at a wedding reception, what sorts of things would you appreciate having available in the washroom in case of fashion or personal hygiene emergencies? We've got stuff like stain remover pens, lint rollers, combs, sanitary supplies, floss, etc. Tae says we should have bubbles. I am wondering if any of you can think of anything especially helpful or essential or nice to have in either the mens' room or the ladies' room.

In case that is not discussion enough:

~ Weddings
~ Things you wish would fit in your pockets or purse when you have to be dressed up nice
~ Sheep
~ Why bubbles are essential in ALL emergency situations.

Well, seeing as how I've been to a wedding reception before, I'd probably be one to ask. But, then again...I never really used the restroom during the reception. But, if I were to choose: Bubbles, maybe a Yo-yo or two. Basically, hygiene and sanitation supplies and some entertainment.

My mother says she is not going to put bubbles on her shopping list, no matter how compelling the argument. xd

She also (sarcastically) says thanks for the suggestion, she'll put in packets of Lego to occupy people while they are attending to the necessary tasks in the stalls. And maybe a copy of "War and Peace". rofl

Tampons and pads for the ladies. Some of us just have messed up ladies parts. Oh and breath mints and mouthwash. People tend to hook up during weddings.

I'd yo-yo in a urinal. I'd hate to just stare at the walls, flooring, counter, etc. until my business was over. War and Peace sounds like a good option. (Sarcasm, hurr-hurr!)

Yup, we've got plenty of tampons, pads, and pantyliners, as well as mouthwash. Not sure my mom would agree to putting condoms out. She is pretty conservative. Also anyone who is coming to the wedding and is not already married is either too young to have sex or... well... Me. There is unlikely to be any hooking up at this wedding.

War and Peace is a good option only if you get the little-known but much-sought-after 'haiku translation.' It's about ten pages long, in a typeface roughly the size of Miami.

Condoms are not happening. Everyone is either already married (and therefore ought to have their own), under the age of 12 (and therefore should not be having sex), related to each other (eeeeewwwwww) or me (who has not had sex in over three years and does not intend to start now...)

I just thought of band-aids and blister cushions, though. Fancy shoes = foot owies.

for the ladies: what about those invisible little tape thingies you use when you wear a strapless dress or on a loose top to keep things covered? i can't remember the "technical" name...
