That's not horrible at all. The characters I RP as and with appear in my dreams often. It just means they've worked their way into your mind, and for some reason, your brain picks up on them, putting them into the dream.

You can't say you're addicted to rping just because you dreamt about it. Since the last thing you did before you went to bed would most likely retain in your mind and be played while you're subconscious...
But if you have withdrawal symptoms just because you didn't do rping within the hour or period, you're officially hooked.

You can be too addicted to anything. But dreaming about it isn't what qualifies it as addiction.

轻言细语 孔明 The land is united at last....No, the land was always as one.... I agree with the others. Seeing the characters in your dreams is actually very normal. Your dreams are associated with what you know, even if you don't remember knowing it. It's not a bad thing, and you're not too addicted. Now, if you start seeing him in real life, every day events then you should be worried.
