#1. Quote: Well, to start off, I grew up as a Christian. Both my parents went to church every Sunday, so I grew up that same way. When I was 14 years old I joined the youth group in my church and my whole perspective on life changed for me. For the longest time during that year, I wanted to get baptized, because for the first time, I truly believed that Jesus Christ died on the cross for my sins, because he loved me. Unfortunately, some things happened in my church, and my baptism never happened. For a few years I started to stray away from the church, reading the Bible, and just thinking about God and his love for me. As the years went on, however, I started to get back into reading the Bible, and going to church more to listen, than just to be there for show. Last year, my church found ourselves a really good pastor, and November 15, 2009 I was baptized. It was one of the happiest days of my life. I'm sorry this took a little while to say, but I wanted to tell you all a little story about my life as a Christian. I hope I can join your guild and hear other stories about others baptisms and becoming Christian, in this guild. Thank you!

He's been a pastor for almost ten [10] years now. I'm also in a ministry with a friend of mine. It's called Tag Team Ministries. We're just starting out. But we hope/believe that we will one day be able to travel to different places; sharing our ministry with others.

I see this as the perfect opportunity to seek prayer and council. I especially appreciate the aspect of this being online, because there are some issues I have that I cannot talk about with most of my friends and family; but I see no reason why i can't talk about it with a christian that i met online.

I try to get online at least once a day but also know that I have other responsibilities as a housewife and cancer patient/survivor. I believe that I could benefit from the prayers of other like-minded believers and also from the friendship of other Christians who are at different stages of their walk with the Lord. I also would try to help others by lifting them up in my daily prayers. Thank you for your time and consideration in my request to join your guild.

I am a very well rooted christian and not in need of a lot of help from this web-site though, but I love chatting with other believers. I am probably one of the more "mature" members you'll have ask to join, I am not the typical Gaia user age (over 40, married with children) If you don't feel I will fit in, I won't be hurt if you decline, I see you are looking for a million members though... smile I have been saved about 15 years, in ministry for the last 5 or 6 years (Women's ministry leader) and a deaconess at my church along with my husband.

But if it means promoting my faith to a higher level... I'm all for it! I believe Jesus Christ is God's son, who came from heaven to set an example for us, who went to the cross to be the ultimate sacrifice for our sin, was buried in the tomb in which he didn't stay long, and then he rose 3 days later to come back again with our awesome Father. biggrin Anyway, I just wanted to say that I am constantly in youth group activities and I'm going through a VBS course right now to be a youth counselor. So pray for me to do well on that. Anyway, as all the other Christians that are attending the Guild or they're not... I'm just reading God's blueprint that he set up for us to live righteously. So, I can't wait to jump in and join you're walk with God! For the record, I'm a Southern Baptist. smile My favorite verses are 2 Timothy 1:7 which I had a dream about, John 3:16-17, 2 Corinthians 10:4, and more as they come along. I'm a member of one of the local baptist churches here in town and I'm looking to be with more people who love God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Because the more like minded people I can find, the happier and closer to God I will feel. ^_^

I started gaia about a week ago while looking for a place to chat with my sister... and I thought this place (gaia online) was cute. Then I saw I could join Guild and so looked for a guild where I could share and discuss with fellow christians smile I read the rules and thought it was good to join the guild. I also believe we should Love one another as long we are all christians. Of course, we should also pray for those who do not all believe and even mock Jesus. My prior is to share with them the good news, but I want to spend time with believers too smile If there is something I fear, is to turn my way away from Jesus. My dream is to become an anime director and make a film worthy to present Jesus as our savior and to let the people know God lives even when we sometimes feel left alone. I want to let the unbelievers know that God cares, but he has his own way to help us out. For that, I know I need a lot of prayers and also, to maintain my faith towards God. The reason why I want to become an animation director is also because I am incapable of telling the good news freely. I guess I am shy.. and scared.. Unworthy to be called a disciple of Jesus... that is why I found my way to tell the good news. Well, more like God showed me the way since I was little. I am geatful and I am willing to realise it. Hoping to discuss more in forums ^_^
