To go along with my Rp concept thread in the story subforum, I'm going to have a character one for the Rp's that I'm making.

First up is Stephen, from my Rp "Paradox". Go ahead and poke holes in his existance.

Character Name: Stephan Turner
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Apperance:Stephen can usually be seen in his long sleeved top with his body warmer over the top. Heavy cargo trousers with several pockets and dirty grey/blue trainers complete his usual clothes. He stands at about 5 foot 10 and weighs roughly 11 stones. Average for his age.

Personality: Stephan is your not so typical slacker. He could be concidered a genius, if only he would get something done. He has a dry wit, a dirty mind and a foul mouth, so don't take anything he says too seriously. He likes to do as little as posible at any one time, leaving his mind to run over things he conciders more important, like whether he should see that new film or not.

History: Born at roughly twenty five past eight in the morning, Stephan has celebrated each of his birthdays at this time, right up until his parents divorced on his tenth birthday. From then on, birthdays were not something to be celebrated. Round about here he also stopped giving a s**t about school. Coasting through the next eight years, Stephan hasn't made much in the way of friends, at least not ones that he can talk to at school. The majority of his friends are virtual, and scattered around the globe. Having stent the past few years ignoring his birthday, he has forgot that his is today.

Power: Electricity
Other: For the past few days, he's been hearing someone calling his name, even when there has been no one around.

The basic story of the Rp can be found over here. It needs fleshing out along whith this character.

He thinks his father is a complete d**k. He wouldn't hesitate to tell him so, but he hasn't been seen for a few years. Stephen would probably break his nose before shouting at him and storming away.
His mother on the other hand has been supportive and kind. He can't really feel any anger towards her seeing as he blames his father. The both live in a two bedroom flat.

Hmmm.....The mother (Alice) had been hiding/sugar coating it so that Stephan could get used to the fact that they weren't living together any more. The father (James), being the ignorant t**t that he is, announces to Alice in full view of Stephan that the divorce has been finalised and leaves Alice to explain to him what's happening. As soon as everything has been signed, James buggers off to the other side of the country.

I think that would cause the one sided parent hate.

On a different note, I quite like the character. What I could see though that might add to him is; being the slacker and not really up to doing anything, and being as smart as he is with the dry wit, another character trait that could be added to match those could be a hefty bit of sarcasm.
I take it being the genious but not doing anything much with it, when he sees others trying something that he knows how to do but what they're doing wont work, he'll jut let them fail anyway? A bit of sarcasm to say could just add to it.

Decided to put up one of my longest running characters. Personality was freeform for this Rp.

+Powers: Short range teleportation and intangibility.
+Weaknesses: Electricity, fear of blood.
+Bio: Life for an immortal can either drift in the winds or drag across rough stones. Kay is one of the unlucky ones that gets dragged across the stones of life. Looking about fifteen causes all kinds of problems such as police picking you up for truancy, shops turning you down for jobs and a variety of other things. Eventually Kay turned to crime in order to keep money in her pocket and food in he stomach. After so many decades of crime, she has seen all manor of disturbing scenes. Although she works in the circles of crime, she tends to stick to the less violent side of them. Extortion, robbery, deliveries and such. After one of her more frantic deliveries she was captured taking a shortcut down one of the alleyways near the safehouse.

Born sometime in the 17th century, Kay was abandoned to one of the orphanages that had started to spring up rather than left to die on the streets. It was the only mercy given to her in her early life. As the orphanage was cruel, Kay matured quickly and at the age of 15, developed her powers to escape one of her beatings. having had enough, she ran away from the orphanage and took to stealing to survive. when she was about 47 and still looking 15, Kay managed to track down her parents, or at least their graves. Shortly after this, she managed to worm her way into a small time gang, and helped them work their way into bigger things. When they began to get suspicious about her looks, she disappeared, much like she had done at the orphanage. Travelling from gang to gang and progressing through many different countries and continents, she eventually found herself working for the mafia in New York. AS most members had secrets, they didn't press about why she didn't age, allowing her that privicy in exchange for her powers.
