I was able to pass the finish line Sunday night and I have to say for my first time, I'm pretty pleased with myself. My book isn't finished of course, but I'm just that much more closer to actually finishing something.
Who else has passed over into the land of the victors?

Me. http://www.nanowrimo.org/eng/user/651757It started out rather horribly, then got a bit better toward the middle . . . and then randomly puked all over the place at the end, suffering a horrible, painful end as I forced myself to pound out another five thousand words. But I did it. It's complete. And I don't want to see this project again for a long, long time.

Congratulations, everyone!
I managed to make it, somehow. The thing is nowhere near finished, but still...I feel accomplished.

Let's all take a moment to thank our wonderful captain, Eylios, for the award she collected in order to give us winners. Thank you! Now, let's see... how can I repay you?

By writing. Simple as that. All I want is for this guild to be a good place for writers to come to. If you can make that happen, well then, 50k is not enough for you.

I didn't think I would make it, but I wrote about 15,000 words on Tuesday afternoon! I actually finished my story at about 47,000 and so padded it out by writing some random scenes about secondary characters.
The book needs a LOT of work, but I think there's some good stuff in it too.
