Here is a basic plotline of 'Soulbound' it is rather patchy in places. Feedback is welcomed.

Victor/Vincent has no soul due to the crimes he has committed and the murders and death he has caused but so afraid of the afterlife without a soul he finds a way to save himself to keep himself alive. By taking the souls of willing victims- the soul bound.

Amy and Anna are twins and very close. (A bit of background day at school general life) Walking back from school Amy steps in front of a bus, death is inevitable, as Anna runs to save her twin a dark cloaked stranger stops her and asks her what would she do to save her sister (Anna looks round she is in a misty place with her sister frozen in time with horror on her face) Anna replies anything. The dark stranger asks 'even your soul?' At this Anna's automatic reaction is yes. Time starts again, she is back on the streets but the other side standing with her sister as if nothing has happened. At first everything seems normal but things start to get strange as Anna feels like she can never be apart from Amy, it grows. To start with it is just a nag in the depth of her body. Eventually it gets to the point she can't let her out of her sight. When Amy cuts her finger on a knife pain surges through Anna. Inside she feels as if she is about to die. So She makes it her life to protect Amy. However The dark stranger 'the soulless master' is after Amy in order to get Anna's and Amy's soul but in his attempts Anna manages to save Amy a few times from his attempts but when Amy, Anna and Matt (Amy's boyfriend) go to cinema a gas pipe explodes right below Amy, even Anna can't save her. However Matt is also Amy's soul mate so when Amy is faced with death the 'soulless master gets a surprise when Alex turns up. So he asks the same questions to matt and of course Matt becomes also soul bound to Amy. So they return to outside the cinema however, Matt cannot see Anna, so he asks Amy where she is and gets a strange look. He lets it go. They go and watch the film. At the end Matt walks Amy home, Starting to get worried as Amy starts talking to herself. Once at the door she looks to her right then at Matt and asks why Anna and Matt are not talking. She gets the reply she's not there and from her right Amy hears Anna saying the same about Matt. At this Amy and Anna walk into the house slam the door on Matt and row. Amy thinking they are having a big joke on her and they are having an affair. Of course Anna denies this but cannot come up with any reason or what has happened. She is soul bound, unable to tell anyone the truth about herself and Amy. So consequently the only people that would know are other soul bounds but to prevent this they cannot see, hear or interact with each other in anyway.

Anna desperately trying to make up with Amy over the weekend when the doorbell rings Anna opens the door to no one; in fact steps in Matt through Anna and Amy witnesses this but is sure she must be imagining it even when Anna starts cursing about stupid kids playing ding-dong-dash. Then Matt start going on about needing to be with her, that they should move out together immediately. Anna sees Amy on the sofa talking to no one on the sofa about moving and get so worried so dashes onto the sofa grabbing Amy screaming at her about moving, right through Matt. Amy freaks out pushing both Anna and Matt off the sofa and stares at them. Panicking she grabs both of their hands. Staring as they pass through each other without the slightest reaction. She screams at them to know what's up but of course they cannot say so she storms out of the room to her bedroom. She racks her brain for some logical explanation when she hears both Matt and Anna at her door saying don't go, don't get upset. At exactly the same time. She falls asleep to they're freakish cries only to fall into a dream of near death experiences. She is confused when she wakes up still hearing Matt and Anna outside of her room. She has to get to the bottom of it. As she goes to see them she notices a mist in the far distance. As she sees both Matt and Anna though each other she notices a chain loop on the corner of their mouths. She knows something is up and tries to convince them that each other is there. When another near death experience and has Matt and Anna try to save Anna they see each other for a split second as they save Anna. Amy decides they need to find out what is happening. They leave the neighbourhood so no one else they love can get involved or hurt as the soulless master pursues Amy with a new persistence. With two soul bounds bound to her she would be a powerful soul to absorb but also the chances are that it would be easier for Matt and Anna to find his secret and protect Amy.

Always moving to protect Amy from death. The mist in the distance gets thicker and more chains start to grow on Anna and Matt. Amy starts to get weak and pale. In a fever she is drawn toward the mist. So they travel toward the mist in hope that it will hold some answers. (more near death experiences. Alex and Anna learn to trust that each other is there to the point that Alex drives the car) They come across an Un Soul-bound (A soul-bound that has managed to unto the spiritual chains etc so can talk about what is happening and can see the other soul-bounds, even if they are like apparitions to him. He tells them about what is happening and vows to help them. (The person he was soul bound to was is older brother who then committed the murder of his family so there for lost his soul so the un-soul bound trapped between being a soul-bound and being free.
The unsoulbound is sympathetic to their blight and tries to assist them but unsure of how to do so. However when Amy mentions seeing the grey fog in the distance. he is filled with hope and despair. And advices Amy to follow the desire to get to the fog (warns her of the consequences etc without Anna and Matt knowing as if they knew they would do anything in their power to stop them.

......getting to the fog and entering the fog etc. (details coming later)

Only Amy can enter the fog as she approaches death herself thus leaving Anna and Matt outside. As Amy moves further into the fog Anna and Matt are unable to moves as they are trapped on the invisible barrier, and Amy moving away causes great pain as their souls are stretched. (visual.....veins under pressure etc) As Amy enters the centre of the fog after passing many people in purgatory place (more details, help her etc (she witnesses people going to heaven/hell thing) She eventually gets to the Vincent/Victor as she nears he pulls at their souls assuming that Amy is already completely dead, however as she is not the pull causes soul to split in two causing an explosion thing, destroying the Vincent/Victor artificial soul and sending him to the depths of hell (graphic description needed etc)

As this happens she dies, not only in real life but also in purgatory, in effect no longer existing. The pressure releases off Anna and Matt and they realise Amy has died and think that unknowingly sacrifices herself. Anna and Matt can now see the apparition of each other as they to become effectively an unsoulbound. Angry and grief stricken they go to turn on The unsoulbound but after much questioning he no longer knows who Amy was or that she ever existed.

stuff happens....

Once at home they go to a house with only one bed etc no one knows that Amy even existed. As days go by Anna and Alex are drawn to each other as fragments of Amy's soul is still within them. Decide to be together etc..

Here is a random introduction to a story. I may or may not use it in the future but thought I would put it here, it is rather random, I was in a bit of a strange mood!!

The reality of the situation

You maybe in the street, in a library or in your home: with people or alone: in comfort, quiet, in peace or maybe not, not peace.
Here you are, always surrounded by all that noise, the buzz of life- consciousness, is that really peace?
I will show you what consciousness, peace and reality truly are. Come with me on a journey to find yourself. I have picked you to come to the edge of reality where the mist of uncertainty constricts weak minds. But, you are strong, stronger than you think. You have a great mind of understanding and curiosity, curiosity that overflows from the very seems of your mind. You remind me of someone else, someone that you do not know: no ones knows her, not yet any way, she is not from your time but from another time, a time that you have not reached and most humans cannot comprehend. She is, she’s going to be a lot like you and you like her, she is leading a quiet life, in a sense- her mind has been idly waiting- glowing but not alight, not becoming the butterfly it could be- like you. But if you decide to come with me…..WAIT!
Things are going at such a speed that I have plain forgotten to lay down a few guidelines- please note that these are NOT rules- if you do not follow them it could be the peril of your own consciousness, morality and ultimately you humanity, though it will not affect me in the slightest, your loss not mine.
1. Bring with you what you must, but do not bring anything back – especially to others
2. Do not act as a cause of your emotions at the formation, causes and consequences of what you read and see.
3. Travel in comfort in the knowledge that you are safe…….. in body.
What you are about to embark upon is secret, you maybe witness to the future. However the future is a very delicate thing – this maybe the future but you or anyone else can change it; just one breath of one person in one new place in time can change the future dramatically and uncontrollably though most people will not see or ever know of the great shift of time, place and situation.
With already the knowledge I have given you, you are already more knowledgeable then most so therefore we really should go on, though if your brain is all a tremble and fleeing at the prospect of a future mind and being you must should quit for you own sanity; but these are merely guidelines, it is up to you. Though if you did decide to leave it would be rather a shame…..
You are coming, oh good, are you ready – packed , prepared for a trip that will reveal many things which are more valuable, more secret and more elusive than anything most humans will ever know- who have ever lived, who are living and who are going to live.

A look back on the future

I take you to the edge of reality here where Darkness befell the world once again as night cloaked the lush world, a lone figure on a distant hill watches the last speck of day creep out of reach…. Another day is lost forever in the tide of time, ever moving back and forth but never the same. Pisces looked around knowing that no one was near… no would ever be near she is an outcast. Yet her knowledge astounded even the most excepted well educated people in the cities of the world. Outcaste for her knowledge, her inquisitiveness and wisdom of seemingly other worldly origins.
A shiver ran down her protruding spines as the last of the light took any warmth with it. Hunger lay thick in her stomach never resting. Yet in her way she was glad to be an outcast and not the deluded, brain washed people of the kingdom following orders almost robotically. As many peoples souls and humanity had left them as technology sped out of control, until now a new race of human was evolving trying to get back any thread of humanity and soul left in the lush yet dead world….. the very reason why she had been out caste, her parents had been this new race physically they showed all the characteristics, a strong slender jaw line, slightly elongated ears and hair that was more radiant than could ever been imagined they glowed beauty… does this description sound familiar to you? A description from the far distant but real past, fantasy creatures once roamed the mind but that to was lost with technology so imagination decided to become reality…. This is where the line of reality merges into the mist of uncertainty, this is what people are scared of and this is where our adventure begins.
