[The Wild Hunt]

A mountain far off from the main body of the grass village, this place is known for being extremely unsteady; people were evacuated so often they eventually decided to never come here again. Landslides, earthquakes and others, this place lies directly between a splitting continental plate, but the thing is, the mountain is being torn apart, and the struggle keeps it shaking almost 24/7. The battle will take place on a circular arena at the very top, though due to balancing issues, after ten posts from each combatant, the arena will fall off of the mountain, and all within it.

Makoto entered the ring first."Whoo, made it here."She said with a final smile. In an instant, her smile vanished, her face becoming completely motionless. She reached into her satchel that was secured to her hip, and pulled out a scroll. She laid it down at her feet, and kicked it, so that it spread across to the bottom of the coffin. Picking up her axe, she was now ready for battle.Focus, remember what you know, Blade is fast.

Else arrived at the arena too. She saw the woman of the other team, she recalled her being called Makoto was already preparing something. She tried not to look at it already, she wanted to have a fair fight. Else guessed the man that had been talking to Makoto earlier probably would be Blade, her partner. She just stayed quiet and smiled at Makoto.

"A pleasure to be fighting alongside you Elseth Lameperouge," a voice called out from behind as Blade now stepped unto the arena. Getting here was a battle in itself, and Blade was going to need all the energy that he could get. According to Axel's information, Makoto was a long range fighter, letting her puppets do her fighting for her. However, that giant axe she carried with her meant that she could handle herself in close range combat. Even if he could get past her puppets with his speed, he would have to deal with her close range capabilities. "Blade Hakemoto," he introduced himself as he stood perfectly still, forming the seal of the ox. His chakra began channeling through his body, and as he waited for the fight to begin, he figured he might as well prepare for the worst.

A man who cannot uphold his beliefs is pathetic in this world or the next

Finding himself in the arena, Haku took a look around. Everyone else was already there. He was already the last person. He chuckeled and moved towards the older looking female. Apparently she was his partner. "You know, you'd think they would atleast wait until someone was done taking their nap." Yet another chuckle escaped his parted lips as he had finally closed the distance between himself and this 'Makoto' he had heard so much about. "Okay, Makoto, not trying to boss you around but I think we should get something straight... you're the boss. I'm merely a Gennin. So I'm going to be relying on you a bit. But you can do the same. I'm no pushover, you know. Let's get to it, shall we?" The Gennin pulled down his bandage mask, revealing a blue - haired teenager with quite the innocent look in his eyes. But that quickly changed, as he was ready for combat. Something he wasn't used to. Even though he was more than willing to kill his opponent, if the need arose.

Makoto smiled to herself upon hearing her teammates words. Yeah, interesting. She thought to herself. She had already replaced herself with Crimson, and was hiding in the coffin she had brought with her.Lets see, Blade is a chuunin, so if my genin can distract him... Crimson's head turned, though to the competitors, it would still look like Makoto, and looked at Else. Her hand came up in a flash and shot out towards her on a chain, reaching for her throat.

Else ducked as Makoto fired an arm at her. Puppeteer, Knowlegde seeped in and Else began to think of the best strategy to use in battle. She could not cast genjutsu on puppets, so she needed her partner to break those puppets and confirm which one was the real Makoto before she did anything with that. The genin, she thought, she should target him first. He was of her level, so it only made sense that she could do damage to him. But first she needed to be able to communicate with Blade.

Her hands formed the seals to activate her own jutsu, Kurama's Mind's Eye. She cast it on Blade, now she would be able to talk to him in his mind. '' Aim for Makoto if you can, I don't think I will be able to do something to her now. Genjutsu specialist here, you know'', she said in his mind. She could not hear answers, but Blade was perfectly capable of talking with voice.

After that, she casted two genjutsu on the genin, Haku. She casted Magen: Narakumi No Jutsu (Demonic Illusion: Vision of Hell Technique) and Magen: Niju Kokoni Arazu no Jutsu (Demonic Illusion: Double False Surroundings Technique), the last one to cast an illusion on her illusion. It would not seem like the jutsu it was. Which was a strong move, because he could not get out of it directly, because he had to remove her Double False Surroundings first.

(( Genjutsu are increased one rank due class( so they count as one chuunin and one jounin move, and you can't use kai to get out of them due Kurama clan.))

Blade heard every word she had said, and though he watched as the chain attacked Else, Blade couldn't afford to come to her aid. Thankfully she managed to have some wit about her that she managed to closely dodge it. However, Blade was still in the process of channeling his chakra throughout his body. He hadn't moved a muscle since stepping unto the field, a single seal across his chest with his hands held. Now the question was how will young man Haku will perform. Blade had taken a look over the files at Kusagakure being a chuunin from the village, however he only skimmed over his profile and didn't exactly read it thorougly. However, he can only assume that he knew either grass jutsu, grass taijutsu, or grass kenjutsu. If he knew kenjutsu then Blade's own kenjutsu would trump his.

A man who cannot uphold his beliefs is pathetic in this world or the next

(( Vision of hell works through the eyes, you will see petals before it starts. I guess Double False surrounding works through looking at my seals, since the hands create the illusion, according to the description. Shall I copy/paste the jutsu I use next time to make it easier?

As the chain shot out, Haku assumed she had taken his words in the fashion he assumed she would. It was perfect. This would give him the chance to unsheath his blade and take on the enemy. But first he was planning on seeing what his enemy was going to do, first. Moving his hand to the sheath of Brink, he yanked the katana out and heard a slight grunt in his head. 'Sorry about that!' He thought, hoping the blade would hear him. 'Can you keep an eye on that girl for me? I'll be focusing on the male.' 'Already on it. Just don't die on me.' 'Wouldn't dream of it.' Keeping an eye on the man, Haku assumed he would be the first to strike. He knew nothing of him and assumed he was like all the other Shinobi here. But the longer it took for an enemy to attack, the better his strategy would become.

"... strikes, again."

((@Luna: Oh and Luna, Haku was abducted immediately after becoming a Gennin, which was the rank he was when he learned all of his techniques. So there would be no way for Kusagakure to know of his recent (all) techniques that he had learned, due to him not learning them inside of Grass' territory. So I'd hope you wouldn't act as if you knew anything of his techniques, aside from what he visibly used.

@Noa: You know Haku was looking at Makoto, right? So I'm just going to assume he wouldn't be caught in the Genjutsu.))

(Noa: I did...the very first line in my post says "Blade heard everything she said". I didn't respond because I didn't feel the need to say anything to your rpc. Kinda like silently agreeing with you as to not let the enemy know anything.

TMT: I didn't say I knew anything. Even though you were abducted, you were still a grass shinobi. I can assume that you 'may' know grass jutsu, grass taijutsu, or grass swordplay. Never said anything about truly knowing in my post. Its like fighting a Mist shinobi...you can assume that he's a suiton user, who knows either Infinite One or the Mist swordstyle, or Hidden Mist taijutsu. My headband is showing, and you can assume that I use the same things. )
