A Lack of Order in the World
The God of Order is infuriated that so much debauchery, thievery, and otherwise unlawful or unethical behavior is so frequent in the lands that once honored his name. Even worse, the other gods of the Pantheon partake as well, soiling even their own names in his eyes with such unethical behavior. Because of all the chaos, all the revelry, he decided that all who do not praise his name and spread the message of law and order must die - their souls forever to be punished in the underworld for their lawlessness. He instructed the High Priests who served him to start a Holy Crusade, to send out their best knights to purge the world of 'chaotic heathens' who 'wasted the air they stole from the innocent citizens of this land'. One such knight sent out was a very naive adventurer who wished to make the world a truly better place. However, he has no idea just how indiscriminately his God kills those who do not 'obey order'. Sent from the Pantheon by the God of Trickery, who overheard the God of Order's plans, the angel Valkyrie disguised herself as a Holy Messenger of Order to try and gradually lure the innocent knight away from the path of destruction and evil that would no doubt await him should he follow his god's commands for too long. To make matters all the more complicated, Valkyrie eventually began travelling with the knight as his wife, as well as the few platonic travelling companions that he's stumbled across. Will the drama amongst the gods end? Will the God of Order get his way? Or will chaos and freedom prevail? Will Valkyrie ever be discovered as an agent of the Trickster God? Will the naive Knight realise the evil behind his god's intent and break away? So many questions, so little answers!

The World of Which We Speak
The land of Dibello is extremely large, fostering four major city-states. Each state is polytheistic in nature, honoring multiple gods instead of simply one. The only exception to this rule is the land of Tibella, which is ruled by the Temple of Order. Followers of Order and Followers of Trickery are mortal enemies, often feuding over religious rights and state affairs. The four city-states of Dibello are Tibella, Frescha, Leos, and Samsyr.
Tibella
The city-state of Order. Every law is enforced in the strictest manner possible, with anyone 'proven guilty' slain publicly to be made an example of. Innocent youths are often taken and trained as holy knights in the name of Order, only to be sent out on Crusades or to war the very day they come of age. Due to the large ammount of ores found in the area, Tybella is a 'miner state', with its main exports being excellently smithed armor and weapons or any sort of rare ore.
Frescha
The city-state of freedom. The gods worshipped here are Nature, Trickery, Wine, and Fertility. Needless to say, Frescha is the mortal enemy state of Tibella. Freschans are a very laid back people, focused more on entertainment and finding joy in life instead of restricting themselves to numerous pointless rules. Marriage is still a mostly monogomous affair for the most part, and is usually only reserved for adults who wish to settle down. (Or at least, settle down as much as any Freschan could) Their main source of trade is spider silk, since the Freschan people have learned how to domesticate the local giant spiders. Spider meat is a staple of Freschan diet, as are grapes.
Leos
The city-state of knowledge. The gods worshipped here are Magic, Knowledge, Order, and Nature. Education is the most highly valued aspect of Leosian life, and is a huge source of nationalism in its people. If you are looking for a tome or novel of any sort, Leos is the place to go. The people are very curious and polite, if not very active or exciteable. In Leos, your worth is judged by how rich a family you come from as well as the quality of your education. Most wizards with any inkling of talent what-so-ever train in this city-state, learning all they can about magic and how they may manipulate it for the greater good.
Samsyr
The city-state of war. The gods worshipped here are Death, Order, Trickery, and Fertility. Samsyr is similar to Tibella in the sense that they are violent, but that is it. Samsyr is chaotic, brutal, and ruled only by the strongest fist. You are able to marry however many spouses you can handle at any one point in time. If one spouse grows tired of another, they may simply kill them. Whoever survives is honored as the winner and gets the 'spoils of war' if they so wish. They are mortal enemies with Leos, especially with the clash of ideals concerning education. If you are into mindless violence, brutalizing others, and tyranny - this is the place to go. (Assuming you have enough muscle power, of course) |

The Fourteen Laws
1. Follow Gaia's ToS. Shame on you if you haven't read them by now!
2. No god-modding, auto-hitting, ultra-dodging, or any sort of unwarranted power-play. You will only be given one warning. Most of you who frequent my roleplays do not have this problem, so this should be anything to worry about.
3. It still counts as cybering even if you are posting as your characters and in second person; it isn't just first person. Yes, I've seen people use this excuse, and no, that does not mean that characters cannot have sexual relations at all. Just timeskip when such scenes arrive, please.
4. Treat your fellow roleplayers with due respect. Do not argue in OOC, take it to the PM's. My word is law in such cases, and any further arguing can have you suspended or banned from the roleplay. Again, this is not a problem for most people.
5. I understand using photobucket pictures to display a general idea of what you imagine your character to look like, but ripping actual characters off from any actual series, one-shot, or otherwise public work that does not belong to you is going WAY too far. I will never accept any character I reccognize from a given series, unless it is YOUR OWN and you can PROVE IT IS YOUR OWN. Originality is a must!!!
6. Please keep your character appearances as paintings, cartoons, anime, or something else that isn't just some bad cosplayer at a world of warcraft convention. No descriptions will be accepted.
7. Just because I am nice does not mean I won't call you out on your bullshit.
8. Use the profile template provided. Please do not alter unless you are changing the color or putting in your character's information. That means no removing important sections, no bolding the entire profile since only the sections need to be bolded, and certainly no removing the size or alignment. It's a pain in the a** to fix your profiles when you do this, so I've decided that I'll make you do it instead before I accept anything.
9. You will PM your profiles to Animeprincess_9400. Entitle them 'Order and Chaos'.
10. When posting, type in third person and in full sentences. This also means you will not use asterisks for actions, you WILL use quotation marks for speak, ect. ect.
11. If you are inactive for more than four days, I will send you a reminder PM asking that you post if you are heavilly involved with the story. You will have three days to reply and give an update on your situation. If you fail to or if you quit, your character will be either killed off or handed to someone else until your return.
12. This is a fantasy setting, not science fiction and not modern day. Please keep in mind the setting, what has already been established, and the rules I have given.
13. I will not be accepting any species that do not fit the setting, dragons, golems, elementals, constructs, or overly large creatures. I encourage creativity, most certainly, but I do not wish to encourage god-modding - even amongst the godly characters themselves, should someone choose to play them. I wish that everyone play as humanoid characters, or at the very least, characters that can take on a humanoid form.

The Knight, Valkyrie, and Companions

Bio: Valkyrie was one of the angels asked to descend into Dibello and stop the agents of Order before all was lost. One particular knight was, according to a trusted seer, destined to slaughter millions of innocents if he was not brought from that path. At first, it was simply business when she wormed her way to his side - when she used her kind words and clear reasoning to persuade him against many choices that could lead to the path of destruction. Before long, Valkyrie's heart filled with love for the knight, and her intentions gradually became more and more personal in nature. Unfortunately, her marriage to the knight complicates things a considerable bit. Valkyrie must not only hide the truth behind her presence in Dibello from the one she's come to care for most, but she also must still prove her loyalty to the God of Trickery and keep her priorities straight as far as her mission is concerned. Things are becoming rather difficult for her indeed...

Contrary to popular belief, he's actually quite gentle and committed. One particular event that proves it was when he was in a drunken fit and challenged a muscleman to a fight. Little did he know that gangs were gathering around him to trade his body parts and stuff in the underground societies. The naive knight saved him and dragged him out of that horror scene that could have been his death. Since then, he's been devoted to helping the knight out although most of the time, he's easily distracted by a lot of things... just like a child. They've been the best of friends ever since. He travels with the knight and his wife. It is his nature to suggest ungentlemanly things or just downright bad advice but he'd never abandon his friend.

The acknowledgment of his abilities extended far and wide through Leos tho after his first fourty years of training he had started to get tired of it and the masters thru the area had quickly become unable to teach the young half elf. During this time he had begun to dabble in dark magic finding a teacher that could show him the ways tho the man as many other's became useless after only studying with him for seven years. The people of Leo's had come to know of this study and had begun to shun the young half elf from there lands. The Knight tho on a trip thru Leo's protected him from a mob of Leo's people hell bent on ending his life. He left Leo's with the knight less on caring what the man's objectives were and more for the hopes of finding something that interests him and for a little protection here and there.
