There was a disturbance in the sky one night, as a craft dropped into orbit and then came crashing down to earth. With a great sound like a thunder, and a tremor followed, taking out a few trees. The trees were silent. The animals within them knowing something was wrong. The craft opened, and many things came out, all of them small and moving on many finger like legs. These things scurried about seeking something, and then the panicked sounds of animals of many kinds echoed forth, as the things found their way to the animals, many of the animals being separated by pathways and walls of stone and wood. Many trapped within boxes of bars. The humans, the keepers of this place knew nothing of it, for they’d all gone home. In the weeks that followed, The zoo had many of its animals die mysteriously, with unexplainable wounds. Days later, mysterious sightings were reported, and soon visitors began to go missing. One day The public and the zoo found out why. People were attacked and killed in broad daylight by strange creatures. Creatures that had already been encountered in another town. The town had been hit with tactical missiles to wipe out the threat. Killing everyone left inside the city limits. Many of these creatures at the zoo were different than their purer relatives from the previous incident. Many moved about on all fours, lacking the ability to stand upright. Others ruled the sky while a few prowled the waters of the aquatic enclosures. Some finding their way out. Many remained trapped. One day a boy and his sister were attacked by a thing moving on many legs, and they lived. But so did it. A few weeks later an adult female elephant who was expecting, went into labor. But was she gave girth to was no elephant. It looked similar, but there were key differences. It was black, covered in armor. It was one of the creatures from the sightings. Only this one had just been born from the elephant. It wasn’t until later that they would learn that the creature had replaced the baby elephant, absorbing it in the womb and taking on many elephant like characteristics. The large body, the powerful trunk, the tusks, and the column like limbs. But it has also taken on a vegetarian diet. Which was why it nearly starved when the military got hold of it. They assumed it ate meat, but one day it took an apple from a guard. It took ten years after the incident at the zoo for the creature to develop enough to escape and find it’s way into the world, but not before meeting the same young man who’s sister it had attacked.

The Short hand: This is an Aliens vs. Predator based rp in which the story is told from the perspective of the aliens and a few humans. The predators are the villains in this, and there is no queen. The queen was killed on a predator ship while many of the face hugger young were allowed to escape in a drop pod. This drop pod landed in a zoo of decent sized city. Aliens communicate with each other through telepathic abilities, but they can’t read minds. The aliens are divided into three groups: The true, the mistaken, and the lost. The true are aliens that took human hosts. The mistaken are aliens that took animal hosts, and so took on animal traits. The lost are aliens that were captured by the military as face huggers and experimented on genetically, so that when they reached the adult stage they’d have the DNA of species that couldn’t possibly be used as hosts. This is about the struggle to survive from the alien perspective, and it is also about the life of a young man who can eavesdrop on the Aliens.

Gore is also no encouraged. Blood and guts not encouraged. If you kill a human NPC, keep the detail to a minimum. A lot of people on gaia get sick easily when they read that kind of stuff.

No godmodding. One warning with this. I myself have been prone to it in the past, so I know how strongly it must be enforced.

Respect others or get lost. You start a fight out of character and you are banned from the rp.

The True are the rarest, with only 1 or 2. The mistaken are the most common. And the Lost are a prestige class type option that must be asked for and must be heavily planned out with myself.

Animal species available for hosts: Rhino, Bald Eagle, zebra, gazelle, Lion, wolf, fox, Flying Fox (largest bat species in the world), Salt water crocodile, Hammer head shark, Boa constrictor, Badger, or red kangaroo. Please note that once an animal is chose by someone it is taken and thus cannot be chosen. If you choose an animal and can’t think of a good description don’t hesitate to ask for help. But Pictures are not allowed except for the human characters.

Appearance: BigBlock is a mistaken. His host was an African elephant, and he has many traits associated with the species. His head is not as long as it would be in a True, but it is also broader, wider. On the sides of his upper jaw there are four total large finger like appendages, all of them pointing down and forward, sort of like a cross between tusks and mandibles. The front of his head has the a few side teeth, and a few front teeth, but the upper lip and the front most surface of the head have been extended and merged to make a longer highly flexible elephant trunk, tipped with two short jaw like structures that can be opened and closed for multiple purposes. The trunk is encased in segmented armor, just like the rest of the body. The tail is shorter, and the blade at the tip practically non existent. His arms and legs are more like the form legs of an elephant, with the fingers of his hands each being as big around as a human wrist and as long as a human forearm. He is capable of standing upright, but cannot walk while upright. While on all fours his fingers are curled up, putting all the weight on his knuckles. He lacks external eyes, like all of his species, but he can none the less see in incredible detail.
Bio: An alien who was forced to choose an animal for a host. His original choice was a human, but he was attacked several times by another human and was hit so hard he was stunned for a short while. Once he could move again he found his way to a very large sleeping animal, an African Elephant. He took it as his host, but something didn’t go quite right. As he consumed and absorbed nutrients from the host, the host didn’t weaken. Then a few weeks later he was most of the way developed, and was suddenly forced out of the host, in a process he would later learn to be called giving birth. He was born to the very animal he had taken as a host. After a week or two in quarantine he was taken by the human U.S. military for research and study. They kept him for 10 years. And then one day he saw a familiar human and broke free.

Personality: BigBlock is a playful but also serious individual, with a good upbeat attitude, but a wicked temper. Never try and get between him and his favorite foods though. He will throw you like a rag doll.

Bio: had life continued normally, he would probably be some nameless kid that would most likely grow up to do nothing special. unfortunately for him life has a cruel sense of humor. when he was only 14. Sebastian wanted to take his sister, Ema to the zoo for her birthday, he raised the money all by himself and convinced their parents he was old enough to watch her. he knew Ema loved animals so this was the perfect gift. Seeing as the alien drop pod was never discovered and notified, people entered into the zoo unaware, soon enough Ema's excitement got the better of her and she wandered off when he wasn't looking, as she entered an exhibit alone there she was attacked by a face hugger and nearly was going to become its new victim until Sebastian managed to rescue her just intim and knock out the face hugger. tehy both were safe but the event traumatized Ema to where she feared being alone, she was always clinging to somebody as she got older and 10 years later she is finally coping with it but is still fragile on the issue. seeing this and watching her grow up in fear caused him so much heartache, he made his decision then and there that he would stop the aliens from attacking humans and using or eating them. he trained and studied and found out that the real ones to blame were the predators for bringing the aliens to this pllanet and not only that but they used humans as tools for their hunt or hunt the humans themselves, learning all of this he decided to that enough was enough and he had to n** this thing int he bud, he now hunts down predators and hostile aliens, and started raising awareness and trainging for others that wanted all this to end. his goal was to stop predators form using humans for their own means of enjoyment and to either treat them as equals, get them off their planet for good, or just kill every last one of them if both A or B fail. after so many years of huntinf aliens and predators and his telepathic abilities that helped him sense them, he became the bane of their existance, which was good for him, cuz he wanted them to know that he was hunting them, he wanted them to know his cause, and he wanted them to regret everythign they done to mankind, and to his sister. a hunter that can kill and hunt a predator and was also human might be seen as an embarrassment to the predators that fall to Sebastian, he figured this and knew that there willb e times that he will be targeted, hes not stupid.

Appearance: His body's stature resembles that of the Wolf he took as a host though his alien genetics have more than enough effect to make him appear much different. His head is similar to his alien predecessors though there are a few distinguishable changes, one the cranial space behind is shorter and the front is longer and more narrow six slits can be seen near the are that a nose would be and are used for scenting and as with all the other of his race he has no eyes though there are two slits where one would assume they are that suggest otherwise in truth there are no eyes there. The jaw is linger due to the extension of the skull forward instead of back and the jaw if filled with several jagged teeth made for gripping and tearing, be it flash of anything else, the lower jaw has two rows of straighter teeth, though still with a slight curve, and a hollow space between the rows while the top has much larger jagged almost serrated teeth that are aligned in such a way that when the mouth is closed they align with the gap between the lower 2 sets of teeth making a vise-grip, should a body part be cleanly grasped in his jaws he has enough biting power to remove it in a single crushing chomp, and his throat is wide enough to swallow a grown man's limbs whole and his stomach produces digestive juices potent enough to digest fully severed limbs; bone, clothing, and all. His body is thin and has the emaciated look of an alien but is longer than that of a normal alien and slightly bulkier with heavy muscles, it has a prominent barrel chest seen on most wolves and a set of two hearts and four sizable lungs making it so that he can vocalize his presence as a warning or for scaring prey out of hiding, because of this he is also able to run for over a day easily without stopping. His front limbs resemble those of a wolf but are much longer and sturdier and his paws are extended in the digits and given a few more joints for grasping prey with his claws brutally jagged made of the same material as the bones in his body which are denser than normal to support the weight of his meals, his back paws are also elongated but along the pad and heavily muscled, so much in fact that it is possible for him to stand on his hind legs for brief periods when needed, for example to jump skywards or onto prey, and while on all fours he comes to a normal persons chest (Roughly 5 feet in height). His tail is shorter than that of a normal alien and much weaker with fewer muscles making it overall useless though the spines and prominent blade upon the end are still there though are smaller and the spines continue along the spine and out over the back like fur, continuing over the shoulder and ending in a 'V' on the chest, though once they hit the shoulder they become much more fine in size and more numerous they also follow this pattern along the fringes of the spines upon the back. His overall color is that of human blood.
Bio: An alien that was forced to take an animal for a host near immediately when it landed in the wolf enclosure, mistaking it for food it was investigated and it was a simple choice of use it as a host or be devoured. After a few weeks he left his host dead in it's enclosure and ventured out immediately consuming the wolfs mate which attacked him and easily escaping the enclosure despite it's smaller size. It caught wind of some of the wild birds and gave chase through the night eventually getting lost deep in the woods where he stumbled across a hiker who he summarily consumed. He eked out a living for the next ten years, slowly making his way back to populated areas but his survival instincts were far keener than his hunger ever was so he ate local wildlife taking only those that wandered off alone in the woods like hunters, all the while searching for others who managed to escape the place he'd left from.

Personality: Cunning, and fierce, he seems to follow a wolf-like pack mentality despite his keen intellect which suggests he may have absorbed the mental outlook of the host as well which may explain his highly evolved survival instincts.

Name: Test subject 0-1010A, Zero for short.
Mental Gender: male
Appearance: Stage one: current stage. Zero is currently at stage one in his life cycle. Because of the alterations to his DNA when he was a face hugger, his life cycle is more complicated than that of any other alien. He is still in stage one. Which is what other aliens would call the adult stage. His head and body are not separate, his neck not clearly defined yet. His body already has the fully developed armor, but he lacks any limbs. His tail however is more rudder like than it would be in a regular alien. He also has gills, and so is water bound. Stage Two: In stage two Zero’s body has developed a pair of simple back legs with webbed feet that are not useful for much of anything yet. Stage Three: In this stage Zero’s body has developed four arm like front legs with webbed hands and his legs have developed into powerful limbs used for jumping, running, and swimming. His gills are still present, but now his lungs are fully developed. His tail is larger now, and still very rudder like, perfect for swimming. His head and body are separate, his neck is clearly defined. His head has grooves on it around the mouth and there are two odd arm like appendages attached at both ends to the head, folded up against the sides of the head inside large grooves. These appendages are part of his mouth. The forward ends of both are attached to a pincer that resembles the front most part of an aliens head. His lower lip is included on the lower jaw of this pincer. His upper like is on the front most portion of his face, and behind it is a row of shark like teeth. The pincer when retracted and the arms of it hidden away, the teeth of the upper jaw lock into place in grooves in the upper jaw like top half of the pincer. The back of the pincer has a hole in it that allows an aliens true mouth to extend or retract. The front most portion of his head above the jaw area has a wide flat hammer like that of a hammer head shark. And That hammer lacks eyes, but instead is packed with millions of electro-receptors and in the middle of it there is an organ made mostly of bone that sends out clicking sounds constantly. Zero hears these sounds as they bounce off objects and it allows him to see them with his sense of hearing. In this stage he is almost fully developed, but not quite. Stage Four: he cocoons himself in a place where he feels the safest. The cocoon stage lasts for only a short time. Final Stage: In the final stage the adult stage, Zero emerges from the cocoon, his armored body now longer and more flexible, his tail twice as long as before and tipped with the a rudder like fin composed of two blades and retractable membrane. His back has two pairs of large bat like wings that are clearly alien arms, just like his front legs, except the fingers and arms are elongated to serve as wings. The pincer mouth part is now divided into two mirrored halves that can be used to grab prey of larger sizes.
Bio: He was genetically altered as a face hugger and had a hammer head shark as a host. He was set loose in deep canyon pool in the forest where his growth could be monitored, but after 10 years of study, he was left to die. Ironically it is now that he no longer has humans watching him, that he is going to do the very thing they were waiting for. The start of his life cycle.

It was saturday morning as the zoo finally opened up and pple rushing in to see the new exhibits after the zoo keepers replaced the missing animals, amongst the crowd a young boy of 14 was with his little 7 year old sister. "Alright, Ema, Happy birthday!" he was covering her eyes but then pulled his hands away for her to see the zoo entrance

He smiled as he paid for the admission "Now remember, even though its your birthday, don't stray away from me alright?" he walked in with her "I know you love animals so I had a feeling you would love this."

She looked over at a cage however, and started drifting towards it.

when he saw her turned in that direciton he grabbed her hand "Hey, what I just say"

There was a tapping sound and suddenly a small creature moving on many finger like legs came running toward the two, and it leaped at Ema. It aimed to latch on.

"Ema!" he pulled her to him and turned around and kicked the creature back, he then noticed a stick on the ground next to him and picked it up, "the heck is that!

The creature fell to the ground a small distance away and once it righted itself it dashed forth once more. It leaped at her again. It was as if it needed to latch on, which in truth it did need to.

"BACK OFF!" he stood infront of her and swung harder but only managed to tip the creature making it spin around in mid air but he didn't waist a second as he spund around and swung again then swung up to knock the creature in the air swat it like he was playing baseball into the elephant exhibit, as he panted clutching the stick.

Ten Years later....



It was near sunset, And sebastian had just came from a metting with military officials. He had came to try and convince them that the threat was real. That aliens do exist, and that two in particular were a deadly threat to humanity. They had laughed him out of the conference room. He was now heading home.

Just as sebastian left the base the wind carried his scent into an open door and through the halls. The scent reached a mail slot opening in a door and something inside the cell recognized the sent. It began slam its arms against a wall to break the door free. It was going follow that scent. Though it would be difficult with all the humans rushing to stop it. "You Owe Me..." He sent telepathicly straight to Sebastian after managing to escape. But by the time sebastian hears this telepathic message, he's half way home and it's dark.
