About:
The Athenavinita herd was formed by Akuba many years ago, he had no intention of a herd, just a nice family to settle down with in another herd but his plans for a life (as comfortable as family life can get) failed and he went back to his old place to live with his children. He saw the foundations of a herd forming from his children and the people they had brought to him, it just had no name and the realisation was only more clear when Keii moved back home with her children and lifemate.

To him it had to happen, it had to be official, he wanted a real herd of his own and while going to Maion for suggestions a name was put forward and that name was Athenavinita. Instantly he liked it and praised Maion, since Maion had thought up this name relating to Akuba's love of knowledge.

Being traditional Akuba asked Keii to step up to be the Alpha and she agreed to this as long as Mitra could help too. Mitra fulfils the role of the Alpha's personal protector because Mitra and Keii are lifemated, while Akuba takes the title of Herd Protector, and his job is too look after the Alpha, Alpha's Protector and the rest of the herd. He still counts as a leader because he is the founder, Keii and Akuba discuss ideas together before making them happen.

Enemies:
Enemies are people who have done something (to a herd member or the herd) which Akuba considers as bad. If you're a SW you'll instantly be on his watch. If your soquili ends up here, they will be pushed out of his lands if encountered.

If your soquili ends up here don't be offended...they are seen as being very dangerous. xD

The Vinita Way Of Life:

Beliefs:
The herd has no set beliefs in a religious sense, they find guidance through each other and their findings.

The herd will respect the religion or belief of anyone as long as they don't shove it in everyone's faces as they believe everyone should be entitled to their own opinion.

Akuba firmly believes in science and finding things out himself, he prefers a more intelligent approach to life and he likes to work out the way the world works and he encourages others to go out and make their own discoveries.

Lifestyle:
In the herd everyone must do their part to help it stay afloat and everyone will be given chores. If a soquili member is told to do something it is expected that they'll do it. No unreasonable demands are pressed upon anyone in this herd so usually it is doable, unless they are ill or weak for whatever reason.

The lifestyle of the herd is quite free as long as the herd members are not causing any harm or destruction to anyone else or their environment.

Relationships:
When it comes to relationships Akuba and Keii understand that both soquili involved may want it to be private for a while before everyone knowing so for this kind of relationship it is better to do it off site.

Akuba will end up knowing about the potential mating or lifemating if their courting is done on herd lands. He does not object to any kind of relationship as long as it is good and isn't with soquili like Skinwalkers or really bad kalona (or bad soquili in general).

Lifemating is much preferred in this herd.
Akuba or Keii are willing to conduct ceremonies for the two lovers if so wished, or they may do it themselves.

After lifemating the herd member may choose to stay or go, but if they choose to go then the herd will be sorry to see them go. Still they shall remain a special herd member and that also counts for their offspring if they ever choose to visit.

Birth:
It has been decided that it maybe too dangerous for a mare to give birth by herself and that birthing will be assisted by Keii and Sy, the father can decide to help, wait or watch. It's not promised that all births will be so straightforward.

Foals:
Foals are the future of the herd and are guarded with that in mind.
Akuba understands that foals may feel that they're guarded to closely at times so with age they are granted more rights and freedoms, until they're an adult where they are allowed to roam freely.

Joining The Herd:

Upon joining your soquili will have to meet Akuba and / or Keii in a joining RP, your soquili will have to prove themselves in someway or another this is often in knowledge.

You must fill out the form in order to join and the form has to be PM'd to me or posted in the appropriate interest thread (if there is one).

Regulars, Winds, Cerynei, Unicorns, Usdia (all types), kelpie, kirin, flutters, hippogrphys, Kalona, Ulun'suti, Angeni and hybrids of any in this list.

Kelpie: The herd lives by a river and a lake so it would not be a problem for a kelpie to join the herd.

Kalona: Kalona and Kalona crosses will be mentally assessed by Akuba to make sure their intentions are not bad or destructive.
