You know what's ironic? Living in a town that is known for the strange events that take place almost everyday, and is called Ordinary. Because the town is anything but 'ordinary'.
Ordinary is suppose to be like any other typical American town, but it's not. It has an evil supernatural presence in the town that's destroying it slowly. And the sad part is not all the people in the town realize how serious all these disappearances, attacks, and accidents are. A majority of them just wave the disappearances off as people running away from their responsibilities, the attacks as something that will end soon, and the accidents just bad luck. They're oblivious to the impending doom of the town.
But there are those who are aware. The ones who can see the cause of these events, because they know of the other 'creatures' that walk among this world. Whether they themselves are these 'creatures' or a hunter of them. Or cursed with a gift that makes them aware of them. They realize what's going on and know they have to stop it.

Rules
- First rule: follow ToS of Gaia. No godmodding, cybering, and killing off other characters without permission of the owner of the character and me. - There's no specific supernatural creature for this, you can pick anyone you want. :] - Romance is encouraged, and so is violence. Well, obvious there's going to be some violence going on here. Seriously, you have two opposing sides being forced to work together to stop one person. There's obviously going to be some tension. - Plot-twisters are welcomed. Give the roleplay something interesting and exciting! Just make sure it sticks with the whole plot. - PM me the profiles with the title 'Monster, how should I feel?' if you're character is a supernatural creature, and 'I hope your apple pie is freakin worth it' if your character to is a hunter. [Yes, I had to use a SN quote for the hunter.] - Please give a heads up if you're going to be gone for a period of time. - I may add or change rules. I most likely won't, but you never know. - And the most important rule... Have Fun!! =]

Profiles Supernaturals"I just want life to be the way it's suppose to be: unpredictable." Spencer Ryans ;; Sixteen ;; Female ;; [Technically Human, But She's A Psychic] Spencer was a happy child, up until she was eight. That was when her father disappeared during a hunting trip. No body was found, so everyone in town believed he had just runaway cause he couldn't handle his wife, child, and job. Even her mother believed that! Spencer didn't. No, she knew exactly what happen for she had seen it happen. She had seen her father get taken. But she had to believe what everyone else did. Because if she didn't, that would mean she would have to accept that she wasn't normal. For she hadn't been there when her father was taken. She had seen it in her mind. And that scared her. The thought of being something not human frighten her, so she forced herself to believe what everyone else did. The visions kept coming to her though. Everytime someone was taken she saw it in her mind. The visions haunted her. If she hadn't found a way to block them they surely would have tore her apart. But she eventually was able to block them out. The downside of that was she constantly got brutal headaches. Still, they were better than the visions... She thought she had rid herself of the visions for the rest of her life. Then she turned sixteen, and the killings started. The visions became harder to block; some of them found a way around her mental wall. She could no longer deny what gift she had. And what was going on in the town. Have Faith In Me make-a-joke-of-it-all“Who but the mad would choose to keep on living? In the end, aren't we all just a little crazy?” - Libba Bray, Going Bovine Salem Ravensdale ;; 346 ;; Female ;; Witch Salem was born in the small village of Fiddlesworth, England in 1666. She was completely normal except for the two pupils in her yellow left eye, and no matter where she went, misfortune seemed to follow in her wake. She was eventually chased out of the village at the age of eight and somehow made it to London where she lived on the streets trying to hide her left eye. She was found by an older witch and taught how to control and use her powers and her ability to transform into a small, blond cat with the same mismatched gaze of her human form. The two witches had to keep traveling every few years since their bodies had stopped aging and people growing suspicious, and eventually moved to the town of Salem in the Americas in 1689. They had lived there for three peaceful years until the now famous Salem witch trials of 1692. Salem, who had been going by the name Mary at the time, managed to escape, but her mentor and mother figure wasn't so lucky and was killed. She constantly traveled after that, never allowing herself to stay in one place to long until she came to this town and finally decided to stay for a bit. She wears a blue contact to hide her telltale left eye. She's a generally cheerful person who likes to pull the occasional prank, but is a little skittish around Christian clergy and doesn't like to go inside churches due to bad memories. Aside from the shapeshifting and luck manipulation, she also has some minor healing spells which are difficult for her to use since her powers are mostly destructive. The Offspring - Staring at the Sun Minnta Aloripma"Who indeed can harm you if you are committed deeply to doing what is right? - I Peter"Arin Lightfeather;; 19;; Female;; Tree Nymph and Magician mix (from parents) Arin hadn't liked to spend much time in Ordinary. People there gave her odd looks. Perhaps it was just because she was a stranger to them. Or maybe it was the birds and squirrels that always seemed to gather around her as she mingled in the square. Or maybe it was the jewelry made of vines that encircled her neck and wrists. Either way, Arin preferred to stay in the little forest on the outskirts of the town and travel up into the mountains, or float down the river. Her mother, a tree-nymph, had liked to do the same before someone had cut down her tree, killing her. Arin's father, a magician, had left then. His only daughter had more tree-nymph in her, and was not very interested in the arcane arts. He was disappointed in her. He had managed to teach her a few spells before she had stopped trying to learn, and he figured that would be enough for her to live on her own. She was surrounded by forest life, after all. The same forest life that had helped her mother, and would help her too. And they did, teaching her to be kind, caring, and protective of the ones she loved. They helped her to become a powerful individual with a strong heart and mind, and to control the elemental powers she inherited from her mother. Arin was content with her secluded life for a while, but soon she felt the town changing. It seemed more . . . interesting. She began to frequent the streets more often, and the people there became used to her. For a time, this life was enjoyable. However, Arin could feel a dark power spreading over the town, a power that scared the forest life, and her as well. She knew it had to be stopped, and she was the only one she knew who was willing to acknowledge it and fight it. Now she just has to figure out what it is "Energy" - Skillet (She has a very powerful personality, it has a lot of elemental diction, and when she's angry, it's a "silent rage, a hurricane".)Iradesca"Change your thoughts and you change your world." Norman Vincent PealeKalin ;; 24 ( looks 17/18 ) ;; Male ;; Empath Kalin and Kariel’s parents were super excited to have twins. But, it was not expected for one to carry the power’s their mother had. Kalin’s father knew of his wife’s power and was not fazed by it one bit. He loved her greatly. Kalin’s mother told Kalin to always keep his abilities to himself, and that if he were to ever tell or show anyone, he would die. Kalin did exactly what his mother said, and even his twin sister knows nothing of his abilities. Kalin grew up as a momma’s boy, always being cuddled and held. When his mother went missing he grew even more in tune with his power and now considers it a curse. Kalin also seemed to stop aging, or showing aging. He continues to look like the 18 year old he was when his parents disappeared, and people are starting to ask questions. Kalin is determined to find out what happened to his mother, while keeping under the radar with his power so hunters don’t come looking for him. To keep himself busy since he is out of high school he models. This allows him to get out of the closed off little town every once in a while, but it is rare. His pictures are seen everywhere around the country and the local girls are pretty proud of it. There are days when Kalin is bombarded with emotions from the moment he wakes up and will just hide in his dark room, under the covers, crying and wishing he could stop the emotions.
Kiss Me Slowly//Parachute Kalin feels this song describes his love for his mother, but not in a creepy way, in a normal mother son relationship. Being held and kissed by a mother as a child and the fuzzy feeling gained. The child’s fears that if their mother left the room they wouldn’t come back, so they always want to be able to see their mother. iliRoxasili"Each player must accept the cards life deals him or her: but once they are in hand, he or she alone must decide how to play the cards in order to win the game." -Voltaire Noland Hunnigan ;; 18 ;; Male ;; Half-Werewolf Bio: Noland is a very robust and open guy with good looks, usually very atheletically involved with Tennis and Soccer. When he was a child of three years of old, his father had left the family, which his mom had been depressed about since and going to several mental therapy sessions. By the time he was in middle school, he was going through weird phases not normal to other phases of a pre-mature boy. Wolf ears would pop out and retract after a few seconds, his arms would get hairy out of nowhere temporarily, and his fingernails would turn into claws. The effects are usually temporary, or if he thinks hard enough to want them gone. Now that he is in high school, he can now control the transformations and hopes to use his abnormal abilities to uncover the mysteries behind the deaths of innocents. [Song: Somewhere I Belong by Linkin Park] Dai-Gilgamesh"I hear the voices, they are hungry, and they are my children. Wont you feed them?" Mariah Barker ;; 17 ;; female ;; Broodmother Mariah wasn't born as she is now, she was born human, to human parents, who had human grandparents. In fact it wasn't until two years ago that she noticed anything different than an unusually high love for spiders. She woke up one day to find her room covered in webs an open cocoon looking thing on the floor, and no memory of the night before. She also found that she could communicate with the spiders in her room, who all called her mother. She was shocked of course, as were her parents, though that wasn't really her fault, how the hell are you supposed to tell your parents that they're now grandparents to a hundred or so children who aren't even of the same species. Luckily they managed to accept it, after setting some ground rules, they wouldn't try to kill any spiders in the house, so long as her children didn't make their webs inside the house except for her room. Now she walks around town a few of her children in her hair and clothes, not caring that people call her the crazy spider girl. Skillet - Whispers in the Dark AnniriaHunters“When you begin a journey of revenge, start by digging two graves: one for your enemy, and one for yourself.” ― Jodi Picoult, Nineteen Minutes Emory-Jane Connery ;; 17 ;; Female Her twin brother, Elias, was kidnapped by the creatures on the summer of their sixteenth year. Both of them were at a block party, and Emory, in spite of Elias' warnings, drank quite a lot. Thanks to that she can't remember much of that night, save for their long walk home. No, she could never forget it, the chaos, the ringing laughter, the scrapes on her knees and palms from fighting off pursuers, her brother's cries for her to run. Run she did, all the way to their secret base in the back yard they had made together as kids. She passed out shortly after, only to be shook awake by her mother to tell her Elias was missing. Sure she gave her report to the police, but they laughed off her story as a drunken hallucination. Apparently, they said, Elias had left a note tacked to their front door, stating he was running away. She knows that's not the truth. Whatever attacked them that night had taken him and left the note. He's out there, alive and afraid. She'll prove it herself if she has to. She might not have what she needs yet, but she's sure as hell not going to let that keep her from getting her brother back. Her Name is Alice- Shinedownp a n syndrome"A father is always making his baby into a little woman. And when she is a woman he turns her back again." Enid BagnoldKariel ;; 24 ;; Female Kariel is the first born of the twins, and made sure Kalin knew it as they grew up. She was always picking on him. But, whenever her brother seemed to be in trouble she would bail him out, support him, and be the strong knight in shining armor saving him from whatever evil dragon threatened him in school. She loves her brother. As soon as he stopped aging she teased him about that, telling him that he is weird because he still looks like a kid, never thinking about why this could be. Kariel knows nothing of her mother and brother; in fact she still knows nothing, even as a hunter. Kariel grew up as a daddy’s girl and when he disappeared the same day as their mother, she became even harsher and stuck up than she was before. In her pursuit to find out what happened to her parents she came in contact with a werewolf that was ready to rip her face right off, and a hunter saved her. After the hunter killed the beast she got on her hands and knees and begged to be let into the group, swearing it was to help her protect her brother. Hearing about her past, the current situation, and her goal for becoming a hunter, she was given an O.K. and joined the hunters. Kariel also promised not to tell her brother about what she does. So, Kalin knows nothing about Kariel being a hunter. Kariel doesn’t work outside of being a hunter, and she is paid for that. So she sits at home watching reality tv and eating cake. Despite Kalin’s complaints to get a job, she doesn’t and she won’t. But Kariel is not lazy… most of the time. She still swims, works out, goes shopping, and hunts supernatural beings at night. Because she sits inside all day she has no boyfriend, and could care less about Kalin’s girls.
Last Resort//Papa Roach This song is Kariel’s favorite song, and is pretty proud of being a rock girl. The song could describe Kariel, but if you are willing to look deeply into both to find the similarities.iliRoxasili"As long as I'm around, nothing bad is gonna happen to you." Jensen Miller ;; Twenty-Four ;; Male Jensen mother died when he was four. Some sort of accident that ended in her death. His father never did explain how it happen. In fact, his father was barely around after her death. It was his grandparents who raised him, helped him with school and everything else. That sort of made Jensen dislike his father greatly. He felt as if he had abandoned him without a good reason. So whenever his father did drop by, it usually ended up in a fight. One visit in a particularly nasty fight; in the heat of the moment, Jensen told his father he needed to get over his mother. She was gone and nothing was gonna bring her back. In response, his father pushed him against a wall, and seemed to be ready to strike him. Before that could happen his grandfather stepped in and pulled the males apart. After that, his father just stopped visiting. That was when Jensen was sixteen. By the time he graduated high school, he just gave up on any type of relationship or contact with his father. He was starting off a new life, and he didn't need his father to ruin that for him. He already had ruin nearly fourteen years of his life. College life was good for Jensen, especially when he met Monica. She made his life so much better, and he was absolutely in love with her. Halfway through sophomore year they bought an apartment together. It seemed like the best choice they made together, but in reality it wasn't. How could either of them know that the apartment was haunted by a satanic ghost? The ghost didn't pay Jensen any attention. But Monica wasn't so lucky. She was driven mad by all the strange things that happen to her. Jensen tried to help her, to prove there was nothing wrong with the apartment. That there was no such things as ghosts. It didn't work though. Six months after they moved in Monica committed suicide. After that Jensen was torn apart. He had plan proposing to her that day, but she had moved on before he could get a chance. Not even a week after his father showed up, there to comfort his son. And finally tell him the truth about his mother: she had also been killed by a ghost. A vengeful spirit had mistaken her for their killer, and had dragged her down to the bottom of the lake she had been swimming in. The reason why his father had been gone for so long was because he had been found a group of hunters, and he had joined them. Learned the ways of them so he could get revenge for his wife. He hadn't want Jensen to be apart of it, so he left him behind. But after Monica, he decided it was time for him to join him. And he did. Ghosts Of The Attic make-a-joke-of-it-all"Time is a great teacher, but unfortunately it kills all its pupils" Louis Hector BerliozCannan ;; 19 ;; Male Cannan grew up with parents that shoved religion down his throat. He hated it and deliberately broke his parents rules to piss them off. As soon as he turned 18 he moved out and away from his parents. His little sister followed him. The two lived in Ordinary for a year, getting used to the people and the town. His little sister, Marline, had a boyfriend and was happy with him. One day when Cannan got home from work he found his sister and a beast in the living room of their apartment. The beast was tearing through his sister like she was paper, and then spotted him. Cannan got away just barely, and watched as the creature turned into Marline's boyfriend. Cannann swore vengeance. He made sure to keep the morning teen thinking that he had no idea it was him who had actually killed Marline, and then killed him. His bravery caught the eyes of others and he was recruited as a hunter. Abstract Nonsense//Rin KagamineiliRoxasili

"Mom! I'm leaving now." Nothing but silence answered the females shout. "Mom?" Again, only silence. Spencer let out a sigh before she shuffled out the door, letting the door slam shut behind her. She wasn't sure why she had expected her mother to actually be home. She barely was nowadays. Shaking any thought of her mother away, Spencer pulled her sweater tighter around her before she continued on her way down the sidewalk to town. Today she had decided to skip school (not like anyone cared) to get some 'work' done. And by work she meant research about the town's history. She already had the documents and books filled with the records, she just needed a place to go over them. A 'safe' place. After a couple of minutes of walking around the town, Spencer finally entered Randy's, seeing as that was one of the only places not overtaken by the elderly. Marching straight to the back corner booth, the girl ignored the glances she got and instantly dived into her messenger bag, pulling out the first book of record to go over. The report for history was killing her, since she had to do all this crappy research for it. At least it got her mind off of other things.

Coffee. That was the current thing Jensen was in dire need of after five straight hours of driving in the middle of night. Thankfully the waitress had settled the steaming cup in front of him at last. He didn't waste a moment before he took a sip of it, not caring if it burned. How lucky he was to find a nice diner in the town he just made a pit-stop in. He was currently on his way to a 'job' in New York, and was just in this town for a hour or two. At least, that was what he planned.
