 Name - Almika Nijlon (She of the Sun Mistress)
Age - About 18 summers
Height - 5'8"
Weight - Average for her height. (about 120-125)
Hair - Black, slightly wavy. Down to the small of her back.
Eyes - The color of a shadow on snow (light blue/gray)
Complexion - Tanned
Markings - A white, swiling sun on her left cheek, beneath her left eye.
Outfit: Typically, Almika wears something she's woven. Usually a top with quarter sleeves (ending halfway down the forearm), with gloves covering up to her knuckles. Additionally, she wears long buckskin pants and light boots. Her hair has a green grass-wrap on the left side, and in her hair are blue and green feathers tied with green beads.
Personality: Almika is somewhat cocky. If someone doesn't meet her preset standards of how a person should be, she doesn't waste her time with them. She cares more about the Soquili and her weaving than she does other humans, and tends to stay away from them. Her past is what makes her so hard and icy, but she never breaks down to divulge her feelings. She did that once, and decided to never do it again. Showing feeling was weakness, and weak was the last thing Almika ever wanted to be.
History: Almika was separated from her sisters and family during a massive buffalo stampede through her old village. Most of the village was destroyed and families were severed. Almika was younger when it happened, and wandered the plains in search of her family. She was found by an older Indian couple in the neighboring community and was raised as a member of that village. She always knew her family was out there, but as she aged, the hope became dimmer and dimmer. Soon after her 16th moon, Almika gave up looking and resigned to leading a solitary life on the outskirts of the village.
Soquili: Almika was given a basket from Meeki's mare, Glamrock. From this basket emerged Allure, the first Soquili Almika had ever had. Fortune found her some time later, and is a welcome difference from Allure. |

Personality -Allure is one of the daughters of Glamrock, possessing her unicorn horn and slight healing capabilities. Allure is very pleasant to be around, being of good mood most every day. She'd more than happy to explore and trot the day away, most eveything catching and holding her interest. A child at heart (both literally and figuratively. n_n)
Likes - Sunshine, Mom, her sister, frolicking, playing, being active
Dislikes - Too much quiet, having nothing to do, boring days, rain

Personality - Shy, quiet and very much an introvert, Fortune prefers to stand by and observe rather than partake. She's very wise, doling out advice and information only when asked. Fortune hardly ever speaks unless spoken to, and even then it's rare. But she's got a "big sister" kind of attitude when it comes to Allure.
Likes - The quiet, naps, the clouds, the wind.
Dislikes - Obnoxious, unneccesary movement, loud noises, anger.

Favorite Sound - A babbling brook.
Favorite Friend - Her little "sister", Allure.

Personality - Dread's personality is reflected in his coat colors. He doesn't like to be around other Soquili, despite anyone's attempts to befriend him. He's not afraid, just antisocial, and that drives Allure insane. Dread likes to watch the moon and listen to the sounds of the night.
Likes - The moon, the night, sunset.
Dislikes - Allure, chatter, butterflies.
Favorite Color - Dark blue, crimson.
Favorite Sound - Crickets.

Images of the Soquili Shortly after finding Glamrock in the far end of the clearing, Almika was given her basket by the beautiful unicorn mare. Not much was known about the Soquili inside, but logic suggested there was a chance the baby could emerge with a unicorn's horn. And shortly thereafter, a lovely foal burst out, showing her golden horn to the world! 03/07/06 - 03/11/06 Allure as a foal! She's bright and cheerful, playful and energetic. She shines like the morning sun. Allure almost always gets herself into some sort of trouble, be it swimming, getting stuck in a log, or being a generally normal foal. Whether or not there are healing abilities already in her horn, Allure likes to pretend she can improve your mood on contact with it. Though we're not sure how well it's worked on Almika just yet. 3/11/06 - 4/09/06 Allure as an adult! Fully grown, her hair, horn and legs are fully developed. She's still as pleasant and youthful as ever. Some Soquili wonder if she realized she's aged at all. She still acts as a child and is hardly ever in a bad mood. Bright and shining as the morning sun, she still enjoys adventures, other Soquili, and her favorite person in the world - her beloved mother. 4/09/06Fortune when she emerged from the forest. Allure must've picqued her interest, but other than that, she's very shy. Protective of her human and unicorn "little sister", Fortune is of reserved personality. She smiles rarely, but when she does, she means it. She's not one to start a conversation unless spoken to. She's a quiet dreamer.  A strange, new basket was found by Allure deep in the forest on the night of a full moon. The basket intruiged her, so she brought it home for the two-legger to look after. The deep coloring adds to the mystery of the basket. No one is sure what will come of it.  Dread has emerged, a quiet, almost completely introverted Soquili who avoids others like the plague. He possesses wings Almika has never seen before, and warranted much unwanted attention from Allure. While he is still young, he has the temper and personality of a Soquili much older than he is. Almika sometimes worries about him growing to be lonely forever. Just as suddenly as he came, Dread grew into a breathtaking stallion. But with age came a deep kind of introverted attitude. He tends to avoid most anyone still, and communes with the moon when it is out fully at night. His coat shines with an almost eerie light, his hooves looking like an ocean of red. His age gave him an air of mystery, one that no Soquili or two-legger can seem to pierce. |
