"He's in the Sand," she points inside of the darkened Sand, "go get 'im!" Se looked over to the location that Rei spoke of, but it wasn't something important. "Nokuro, Vex, Rei, all three of you won't be able to be sneaky or silent, I can already tell, so, instead of dealing with stealth, try a more direct approach and see if that works, if all three of you take the rogue on, he probably won't be able to handle it and lose outright, but then again, watch out for traps of any kind, rogues are crafty ones. I'm going to develop a barrier of darkness around the area so that he can't leave, if he leaves, the mission is considered a failure."
Yuuki moved in the opposite direction of his team, setting the perimeter so that there was no escape for the rogue, surrounding the area with darkness and creating a large barrier around the area. "Done." She then heard the wicked laugh of a presence that was beginning to linger over his shoulder, a chill down his spine, and a sudden shiver to come from the Jounin, he looked back and saw nothing. But it felt so real.
As Rei predicted, there was interaction with the target(s) in question at exactly 45 seconds from their point of departure, but, sensing it all wasn't enough, she'd need to react. For instance, just as she got within the point of confrontation, she would land on a single branch and THAT would activate a hidden trap, the branch she now stood on would unravel the fake paper covering and reveal it to be a branch covered in paper tags, all which went off at once...in rapid succession. Nokuro, as she ran in and yelled at the top of her lungs, would fall pray to a pitfall trap about 12 ft. from the entrance point, Vex would follow suit and reach a trip wire, if he activated the trap, a large array of shuriken and kunai would fall from a timed-release-weapon-summoning-scroll, all falling at thrown speed.
Rei's attacking rogue backed up and charged blackened lightning, concentrating it to his fingers and releasing multiple shots from his fingertips, aimed for the wolf, "Ranton: Laser Circus!" The shots would leave holes in the wolf. Rei's attacking rogue backed up and charged blackened lightning, concentrating it to his fingers and releasing multiple shots from his fingertips, aimed for the wolf, "Ranton: Laser Circus!" The shots would leave holes in the wolf.
The pitfall rogue climbed his way back up and made it to the top again, noticing that Nokuro and Rei had their backs turned from the pitfall, he rose the blade high with his acid dripping off of the edge, he was going to kill them. Suddenly, a loud bang would've been heard and the rogue would take two steps back, gasp as blood escaped from his skull and fall back and into the pitfall. "U-ugh...." He fell in with blood tracing the bottom edge of the pitfall. Who did this? Who protected Yuuki's students? It was none other than Yuuki himself, she had ran by and caught the two, "You two okay?!"
Vex's attacking rogue and his pet jumped back, skidding again the ground. The rogue revealed hook swords and the pet took to the tree branches. The rogue rushed forward and hooked underneath Marco's left ankle, pulling him and tripping him up, the pet would then dive down and onto Marco with a tunneling fang.
The Ranton user backed up and stared at the Wolf in complete fear, he couldn't breathe, he couldn't move, he couldn't even speak. He was enveloped, engulfed in the madness, like it was choking him and taking about 80% of his oxygen. He was doomed and he knew it. He wasn't going to give the wolf the satisfaction of taking his life, he took the kunai knife that he was holding and started digging into his neck with the kunai, stabbing deeper and deeper everytime he pulled out. The blood sprayed to one side and his choking and broken screams were heard louder than anything else. After the 24th stab, the Ranton user fell over and died in the pool of his own blood.
Yuuki moved over to her squad, "are you all okay? I'm so sorry, all of you got hurt because of me..." she knew full well that it was her fault, that she had screwed up and hurt them. Then, rustling in the tree tops could be heard as a final rogue dropped down and rushed at Rei with a chakra-enhanced Kunai, knowing that she was the culprit for all of this, being able to sense something darker within her person. Her hand was caught by Yuuki gladly took the wound to the stomach to save his shinobi. Her eyes were locked with the rogue and his malice and killer intent was more evident, Jashin whispered in her ear, cooing words of pure sin into his very core, corrupting her brain and changing her thought process. The worst part is, she didn't know that it was really happening, she thought it was just the darker part of her inner conscience, and she was listening intently to it.
The rogue pulled back and jumped a few feet to get some distance, to get some space to save himself from Yuuki. Yuuki stood behind the shinobi, holding her head within her palm as the body and the head enjoyed a very satisfying separation. The blood sprayed everywhere and the eyes of the rogue blinked once more before he ceased living, knowing that the head can move for a couple more seconds after decapitation. Yuuki turned back to them, her eyes cold and unfeeling as she dropped the head and pushed the body over with a light nudge. The speed she used to reach the rogue and cleave his head off without sound was immense, so immense that none of her students would see her movements to the rogue, but instead, would see a flash of him disappearing and then reappearing.
Yuuki struggled to regain her sanity, dropping the decapitated head and trying to wipe it off of her clothing, creating smudges and permanent spots. She had to relax, she had calm down...no, she couldn't, the dark manifestation was whispering sweet nothing's into his ear, trying to bring him to a state of malice and insanity once again. Yuuki's body was twitching, like as if she was having some sort of withdrawal but that was far from it, he was receiving too much influence as he almost felt choked by it. Yuuki struggled and pulled herself free with all of her might and clasped her hands together, causing the dark manifestation to screech and whine in complete agony, as if it was being ripped out of Yuuki's very being with a pair of gigantic tweezers.
Yuuki didn't know what to do after that, nor did she know of what to say, Yuuki was at a loss of words and the sense of life and death had become a worthless concept to him now, her teammates were probably broken and disorientated and The Crew was probably listening to some more Michael Bolton in the background with Rei, not caring as they relived their favorite song as it was in Disney's Hercules, their favorite movie. Yuuki went over to Nokuro and led her back to the group, comforting her all the way with a gentle hug, her body was cold, shivering, and even Nokuro could see this evident in Yuuki's eyes, her terrified eyes, not just of herself, but her team too. "We're leaving," and with that, Yuuki moved all of them home to Suna, more specifically, the Training Grounds.
Mr.Smith Demon King of Hell /// XXX /// Sharingan - Inactive/// Ex-Hokage /// Taijutsu Master ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The endless sands of the Wind Country. It took him some treading from the Fire Country to the an area surrounded by nothing but sands. A place, or rather the first place, that Yumi decided to look for the first demon on his list. Ichibi. What he knew about the demon was basic, or at least information that reasonably would be found within the Konoha libraries. He didn't have the innate weakness that would bring him to a better ability to defend against the beast, but he did have one thing he felt that would be able to at least combat the Bijuu outside of his sheer strength. But first would be to find the demon if it was even roaming the great sands then prepare accordingly to make a hopeful surprise attack. This would be a good test in his abilities and see if he was ready to take on the more difficult demons.
Passives: ♛ Tank 'Classed': Through the hard training that they have gone through, and mastery of it, the master has an enormous body. Making physical attacks towards them [1.25] ranks lower. For every rank below the user at this level, it will decrease by a fifth.
♛ Fists of a One Man Army: The user's fists after training have gotten thicker and harder like bronze. Making Taijutsu strikes with their fist be [+2.50] ranks higher than their own.
♛ Second Wind: The user's stamina has gotten to the point, that it is harder to make them fall down, and stay down. If the attacks are lethal (such as being stabbed or etc.) the user gets a moment of 'Second Wind' and feels more refreshed. [ Add 10 Chakra points upon taking a physical hit C-rank and higher.
• Sharingan Perception While the Sharingan is active, the wielder is able to see even the slightest movements made by their targets, making them near impossible to trick with a sleight of hands move; this includes being able to see chakra, even underground.
• Jutsu Mimicry While in battle, the Sharingan can let the wielder mimic a jutsu that was used in the previous post as long as the wielder may use that jutsu for an additional 50% chakra. The user may mimic a jutsu that is not of an element they possess, as long as it is below their rank, for double the chakra cost. Any jutsu mimiced lose 1 rank in power
• Jutsu Copying While observing a jutsu be performed, the Sharingan may copy the chakra patterns used to perform the jutsu, allowing the wielder to gain instant knowledge of how to perform the jutsu. In order to learn the jutsu, it must be a jutsu the user is normally able to perform, meaning only jutsu of their element, clan, or bloodline.
• Genjutsu Identification Due to the ability to see one's chakra flow, the wielder of the sharingan may see when one's flow is being disrupted by a genjutsu or tell when they themselves are under one, allowing them to break out of them easier.
• High Chakra (+50 Chakra)
• Sharingan Taijutsu-ist +1/+1 to base stats, and the ability to create a custom weapon/tai style emphasized around the use of the Sharingan. May be slightly stronger than your typical physical style. ※※※※※※※※※※※ Equipment

What if Yumi, actually intends to kill the demon instead? Forcing it to go through it's lenghty reincarnation stage?
Though as an alternative, how exactly would Yumi go about sealing the demon through the Kexh still you were mentioning?cat_surprised

You would need a jounin-level sealer. Though I'm going to be honest, I dunno if killing the demon is entirely practical...I'll discuss with the others and get back to you.

Her hands traced a small picture, her fingers following the dull lines the artist created easily. She wondered how long it took to draw a dragon in such detail, especially when it was out of story descriptions and imagination. Sure, the graphing was somewhat different then the real thing. She imagined her darling boy in her head, and the heads were different sizes the horns weren't in the direct spot. Her fathers legacy. She closed the picture book, looking out the window and almost panicking. She was late for her meet up with Tsubaki and Taki, the two most brooding ninjas in this world. She leaned on her left shoulder and let out a scoff, thinking about when they first met. Taki had grabbed Tsubaki's boobs, and she had sent several hours tending to his wounds after that. Nikola slowly got up, not feeling extremely motivated to go meet them. However, there was a sudden pull. She burst from the library doors in a desperate dash, the world around her blurring. There was something wrong, she could feel it. She spotted Taki in his usual pose, crossed legs and his head down as he drifted off into sleep. Tsubaki was pacing around in her bikini, what she preferred to wear because of her extreme love for nature. She was definitely a weird one, but Nikola had no time to dwell on it. She told them forcibly that the mission will start later, they had to look for something along the bay. It was a half days walk to the border, where there was a connecting lake into the river. The river went farther up north, but Nikola just had a strong feeling... It wasn't Nikola, she finally decided. It was her dragon calling her there. She didn't explain t the others her concerns, she didn't bother. They would follow her orders regardless of what they felt because she was the team leader, and had a higher status then they did. She was the niece of the ex-kage, her roommate was best friends with the new one. She was a Lydian, born and raised until... The events happened. But she wouldn't reflect on that, as the desert heat would beat down on them ruthlessly as the time passed, she wasn't completely sure how to grasp a hold of sanity, so she did one thing. She summoned her dragon, she did it so she could make sense of the entire thing and without warning to the others. A huge beast, ten times larger than any of them suddenly burst forward, flapping its wings and screeching a loud, breath taking noise. Tsubaki jumped back in awe, while Taki just narrowed his eyes at the thing, expecting it to eat them. He was probably thinking along the lines of 'She brought us all the way out here, it could be for dragon food'. But it wasn't for that, it was simply because Nikola was getting tired of walking and it was faster to ride the dragon, at least it was what she told them. Mounting the back, it was dry and a bit rocky but there were plenty of objects for them to hold on to. Small dimples in the back, or horns randomly expressed throughout his body. She had yet to name him, and she didn't want to start. Nikola had this cunning ability to feel what was going on with her dragon, she was connected to him as if they were born together, and they were. In the land of the dragons, they were created and birthed the same day, but in the dragon's case, it hatched. And yet, she hadn't named him. She had barely relied on him the past few years due to lack of control, lack of power. He understood this, and didn't hold it against her. As they flew across the skies, she tried to understand his unrest. He felt desperate, and worried. What was up ahead, only several minutes away, wasn't something he was completely ready for.
When they got several minutes away via hiking, she de summoned her dragon and begun to explain to her squad. "So, this is stealth so far. We will be as quiet as possible when looking around the bay, we do not engage unless I say so. I just want to dull my curiosity, and you guys have to deal with that." In the corner of her eye, she noticed Tsubaki roll her eyes, not that she cared. The broods were going to have to deal with it. As the time passed, they would find themselves at the river.
The sight they saw wasn't exactly what they they were expecting. A large ship, that Nikola recognized as Northern was parked in the folds of the bay. The ship had it's plank leading up to it, and there were people walking back and forth from the deck. On the beach, there were several women and men being forced towards the ship. They were didn't look like they were from the North, instead they were very... Very similar to those that came from Kusagakure. Nikola frowned, opening her mouth only to shut it again. She was confused at what was going on until Taki spoke, muttering the words. " Slave trading. Merchants or pirates, whatever it is this is disgusting."
What he said made her flinch, thinking about the time she spent on a boat much similar to that. The small confines of the cells below deck, the way most people stunk of piss and s**t. Unless they were promised slaves, they were more likely to die of starvation before arriving at the slave quarters in the land. As a promised slave, they always gave Nikola bread but she wasn't strong enough to keep it. The older, stronger slaves would steal it from her to the point where she was so weak it would be suicide to call upon her dragon. Strong burrowed men, and a few western slaves that she would never forget bullied her into submission. "We need to get captured." She finally spoke, letting the words settle into the silence.
Tsubaki looked at her with wide eyes full of disagreement. "No. How stupid are you? Do you realize how dangerous that is? We get on that boat, we fall into the enemy's hands and they can kill us easily. We should just follow the boat with your dragon." Nikola narrowed her eyes at the misinformed girl, who was offering up a plan that didn't include her energy being put out. But that wasn't the point why she was against that route, it was more of the fact that it would be easier to gain information when in the hands of the enemy. If done right, they wouldn't be killed and the lack of intelligence being shown from the girl pissed her off beyond belief.
Taki realized her feelings on the subject, and finally put out his piece. As the second Jounin on the team, he and Nikola had more of a pull than a young chuunin. "If we get caught, it would be easier to find out what is going on from the source. Tsubaki, I realize your concerns but in all honesty our jutsu will be with us no matter what. The perfect stealth mission. And this isn't about our safety anymore, it's about the village. We always should put the village first, because these flags they waver are something we haven't met before. We can gain an upper hand if a war is to happen soon." He was several steps ahead of them all, and it was enough to convince Tsubaki that it was the route to take. Her eyes were still narrowed and her fists were still clenched. Nikola knew that the anger only masked the fear.
The plans were whispered amongst them, and devised carefully for the best type of outcome. She embarked on her part, going to the side a ways before jumping from the top of a sand dune and darting towards the boat. The sand slowed her down considerably, and if there was artillery or arrows to be shot at her, she had enough strength to dodge it. But as she predicted, they went to no method seeing as she was only a simple girl. She put on the act of her life, calling out for her mother, the idea of her mother consuming her mind in case any Heilands were on board. Some of the muscle on board jumped off to catch her, and when they did she was struggling desperately, reaching out for the boat and crying for her mother. Nikola wasn't conceded, she knew she was beautiful. The guys knew this as well, and thought she would make a good slave. Oh, how they didn't know that she was a slave to begin with, but she put up a weak struggle when they bounded her and got on board. With this distraction, she was sure that Tsubaki and Taki were able to stow away on the ship. They put her in a cell, alone, and she felt like she sat there for days. She was quietly devising a plan for when they arrived, but she didn't know what to expect. She was weak already due to lack of hydration, but she has had worse. Her thoughts trailed back to the year before she was captured, when she summoned her dragon for the first time. She was practicing in the art of agility, wanting to be fast but she was never really gifted with that attribute. Her mother would watch from the porch, covered in blankets and warm gloves as she watched her little girl freeze in the snow. She would call out several times for Nikola to bundle up, but the fleet would cause to much trouble for her fighting. So she ignored her mom, and then fought of the fever with warm soup later in the evenings. One day her father was free from the confines of work, and he amused her with stories of war and his own dragon. She told him that she wanted hers, but she didn't know what to name it. She was so worried about summoning it, she wondered if it would like her or hate her. "The best dragon companions are hatched with there master." He summoned his own dragon, and asked for its latest egg. He gave it to his daughter as a present, and told her it could take days or years for the thing to trust her enough to hatch itself. As soon as he got done saying that, her worth was proven and the dragon popped out in front of their eyes. She had never seen her father look so close to tears then when she had hatched her first dragon, as if she was automatically made to be trusted and worthy of the noble name Raskoph. She opened her eyes and looked around the cell, swiping a tear from the corner of her eye. She still hadn't named the damned thing.
After days, the boat finally felt like it had arrived at a port. She wondered what the other prisoners were like, but she didn't stick her neck out with curiosity. She knew that there would be consequences if she showed her true colors, so she darkened her mind of any relevant information regarding Sunagakure and was blindfolded, and carried out of the boat. She could see the outlines of many houses, stables, people. Chatter was all around her, and no one seemed very affected by the fact that women, children, and men were being carried throughout the city. What was this place, other than a hall of horrors and hell? People who didn't care about slaves, they were probably the most ignorant people of all. She clenched her eyes shut, even though she was blind folded, and tried to not let it get to her. These emotions... Would get better. Taki and Tsubaki would save her when the time was right.
The place where she was held, the slave quarters wasn't what she was expecting. It was different, a lot more clean. They had stripped her off her piss stained clothing and washed her more thoroughly then the first time she was a slave. She was soon dressed in silk, as if she was a wealthy woman herself. She was lined up with the other slaves, before being brought onto a large stage. An auction. Her eyes widened when she realized, the entire theatre had been preserved for the wealthiest and dirtiest northerners of them all. She didn't know what else to call them, she had no information and depending on who would buy her, she could gain useless information or useful information. She wasn't prepared for such a bargain, but it would be risky to get out of that situation without injuring the slaves that sat next to her. There was a pretty blonde to her lest, and a hot young man to her right. She closed her eyes and just allowed it to happen, since there was nothing else she could have done in that moment. As time passed, the line got smaller until it was the guy next to her being auctioned off. The winner was an old women, probably about to hit menopause and wanted to have the fun her youth hadn't given her. She felt sorry for the man, because she sensed he was gay. And the frightened look on his face, it explained it all. It was Nikola's turn. She was instructed to move to the middle of the stage, which she did. The numbers begun to be called out, the amount getting higher and higher. There was a persistent man that kept on bidding, which only made her nervous. Did he require a sex slave? The thought of losing her virginity to some guy as a slave made her shiver, would she go that far for her village? The guy eventually won her, at the largest price she had heard that day, and she was dragged away by one of the guards to go meet her captor. She begun to sweat nervously, looking at any way to escape but finally coming to a realization that that wouldn't suffice. She needed to remain calm, to gain information. She was shoved into a carriage, where she met him face to face. He had fair skin, and eyes that will forever remain familiar. He looked at her up and down, a smile playing on his lips. "I didn't expect to meet you like this- in all honesty, I had assumed you were dead for the longest of time." He paused, evaluating the look on her face before saying," Don't be scared. I should have started with my name. Kinyon Yoshi, however my stubborn wife was the one who changed my last name. It was Raskoph, which you'll be happy to hear is still a noble name today. I am your uncle, from your fathers side. We never met because in the time when you were young, I was at war."
Never before had she been so lucky, her eyes widened with emotion and a million thoughts poured from her mind. She didn't know how to take it, but she was soon embracing her uncle with such force that it made his back crack. He was laughing with a similar joy, muttering sweet things about how she resembled her mother and how beautiful she was. He called her Nikola over and over again, as if he hadn't tasted a sweeter word. The family reunion was cut short, because he quickly turned things serious. The road bumped under them, as the route to wherever their destination was got rougher. "In all honesty, it was great to see you. However you must return to your country immediately. The companions you came with have been caught, and are now being held for a public execution come next Thursday." Nikola was about to ask how, but he was already way ahead of her. "It may not have seemed that way, but your ship had been docked for several days. They delayed taking off the slaves because along the ride, two ninja started a fight they couldn't finish and ended up caught. They were unable to stealth themselves, in the end, the Heilands were able to sniff them out like a pack of dogs. Honestly, such beings make you afraid if you ever think too loud." He shook his head, but didn't continue the joke. "I wish for you to mount your dragon, and fly south until you reach whatever place you consider home."
"I can not do that, Kinyon. I can not leave without information, but even more valuable, my comrades lives. I was the one who talked them into coming to this stupid place, I am responsible for their capture. I would rather die then turn tails and run away without giving up a fight. And uncle, you could come too. This place is foreign, it's weird. The south offers so much more, peace and-" She was never able to finish her speech, before she was cut off by his harsh tone.
"It is not foreign to me. I am loyal to his highness Kaiser, and to her highnesses. I pray for their continue survival and conquest, but I am first loyal to my family. Whatever information you seek, if I have it for you, I will give. But your comrades are as good as dead at this point, they've probably tortured them to the point of no return. If you still wish to rescue them, I will hold a sacred funeral for you when you perish along with them." Silence was met with his words, as they continued to embark to his destination. She remained quiet, unsure how to take this.
"I'll take the information, but... I'm not bowing to your threats. Tell me what you must, give me what you must, and then I'll leave to find my friends and I'll get out of here." She declared, not looking at him in the eye, unable to make herself do it. She wanted to save them, so bad that it hurt. She got them in the situation, why couldn't she get them out of it? It was like the world was mocking her, and she wanted to prove it wrong. She wanted to fight for her right to be every possible thing she could be. And then surpass even that. She closed her eyes until she was nudged awake, her first time getting a wink of sleep and it lasted only several minutes. Her uncle was back to the way he was before, dotting over why she looked so tired. As if he forgot she had been on a slave boat the last several days. She herself seemed to forget, because a wave of exhaustion hit her suddenly and she was there, collapsing in her uncles arms.
When she woke up, she was surprised to see herself surrounded by mahogany wood, and dressers and really exquisite furniture. The structure of the room reminded her of several guest rooms of her own house, when she was young. She grew up in a mansion, as if she was royalty. She was too young to let it go to her head, not old enough to attend primary school and simply sticking with the more leisured home schooled ways. She was close to her family and servants, but had no real friends. She still didn't have any, and regarded the two captured as her comrades. Would there ever be a day where she could call someone friend, she didn't know. But she wanted to protect her village until that day, and long after. She stood up, woozy at first but was able to balance out eventually. She stumbled through the halls, eventually being directed to the dining hall by a wandering servant. Nikola thanked her, and she blushed back. When Nikola found her seat along the long table, closer to her uncle and what she assumed to be his wife, she begun to dig into the food handed to her. He would watch her for the longest time, not saying anything, before finally breaking the silence. "You had me worried back there, I hadn't realized how badly they treated you. If I did know, I would have fed you sooner." He seemed seriously injured about the lack of knowing, and it made her want to reach out and assure him how wrong her was.
As soon as she gulped down the large piece of beef, she found herself apologizing. "Really, it's my fault. I had the entire ride to sleep, but being on enemy grounds its... I was restless. Adrenaline kept me on my feet, mostly, I barely noticed how exhausted I was until I felt safe." She confessed, looking at them with a meek expression. "Now tell me, is this your beautiful wife?" She stiffened, and suddenly got up. The woman glared at Nikola, before turning and storming off. This only confused her," What?"
He sighed and leaned back. "The information I'm about to give you, she doesn't quite agree with it. Though she can't openly go against it, seeing as you are family. Theoretically, I am giving you something as a trusted Lydian, and one day I truly believe you will be on the side of the North." He paused, before bringing out a piece of paper. He didn't explain what was on it quite yet. "The North has always kept it's distance from the other regions, because we are all different then the others. The south is consumed by ninja and their constant wars, and the west even worse than that. The North has always been more barbaric then the rest, only recently reuniting under the grand rule of Kaiser, for he we will always be thankful. I don't want to betray him too much, but it's my duty to your father. If he was here, he would dedicate his life to you becoming a general of the North. I'm sure he will be happy when he hears you're well."
"My father is alive?" The disbelief hung on her ears, she wasn't sure what she was hearing and if it was real or not. He nodded, almost grimly, as if this news will only trouble her. But it was news that brought ringing in her ears, her eyes blurred as she looked down at her plate, unsure how to move. Did she want to go against the North, knowing her family was alive? Everything she had ever wanted, her father, her mother, her family was alive and well and they were in the North. She couldn't...
"He is, as well as your mother. But they don't reside here anymore, they have fled for the west due to treason against the high king. You will meet him again one day, when you are a general yourself. I doubt you will be, however, with your stupid plan to save your friends." He opened the parchment beneath his fingers, laying it on the table before them. It was clearly a map, of a place she had never seen before. She assumed it was the city they were just in, before treading through the long moors to find the Yoshi Manor. "This is Sorana, please do with it what you must. If you need more information on Kaiser, I would ask Katerina Strehkovsky, the b*****d daughter of the king. She lives where your country is, but I think she goes by a general title... What do you call them... Kages? Mikikage?" His lack of knowledge of the south made her scoff over a giggle, the information still sinking in. She was getting it however, and that was the important part.
Two large doors opened almost as soon as he finished saying his piece. The person who walked through had an aura that made her shake, he gave off raw energy that she hadn't felt before. She looked to her uncle, who had narrowed his eyes. "Kinyon." The man spoke, a smirk playing about his lips. "We have taught you better. Even your wife seems to think. Don't worry, the repercussions of your unavoidable betrayal won't burn her, only you." His eyes met Nikola. "I guess all Raskophs are damned, unloyal bitches." That was when everything exploded around them. People she had never seen before rushed in from all sides, the halls, the windows, even the ceilings. They were all Hielands, the thing she hated the most. In unison, they had summoned their dragons. His was so big, that it tore apart most of the remaining part of the dining hall, while hers was only to the size of the large ceiling. It would grow in time. They screeched loudly, making some of the enemies flinch or hesitate in attack, leaving them open. Her dragon burst into the air, catching aflame, only to fall back down to earth and collapse near her. The entire area was destroyed, the house included, several bodies being charred in the process. Her uncle was deep in fight with the mysterious guy, they was overpowering even him. She needed to help, she was desperate to, but the minute she stepped over her brain was suddenly filled with images of Taki and Tsubaki being beheaded... publicly.. she let out a low scream, grabbing onto her head. She was too late, it was too late. She couldn't save them, and she would never be able to save uncle.
She heard his voice, but didn't see his lips moving. "Leave now, take the map. Go home, this place is no longer for you." She was shocked he said something so harsh, but in the midst of battle she had no time to argue with him. She took the map and mounted her dragon, it rising slowly in the air as she watched them fight. Soon they turned into nothing but ants into the distance, and she couldn't stop the dragon from flying straight from Sunagakure. The view to the mansion suddenly erupted, completely consumed by flames. Questions remained in her head, she wondered what other information she could have gotten if she had been more stealth about it. Better yet, she wondered if she could have saved any one if she had been more powerful. With the map clenched in her fist, she wondered if this was a Pyrrhic Victory. She had gained crucial information, if not for her, then a little bit for her country. But at what price? The price of her family? Her squad? Taki and Tsubaki were dead, her uncle was soon to be dead as well. She got to live... Why did she always survive? She fell into a pit of tears, from self pity and self hatred, the past week and a half being too much for her to take.

Yumi felt he was close, which at this point, was all the intel that Yumi needed. He'd go further but only after he has the right components to do so. Which would be much harder than the series of battles he intended to make. With a turn of his heel, Yumi would depart from the area and instead start heading towards Suna. Mostly,to see if it was free from the bonds of tyranny and further to see if he can recruit someone with specific talents that will further his cause.

Shikayumi saw herself standing in a desert that went on as far as the eye could see. The winds would kick sand in her face, leaving her impaired to the elements. Her mind still bared the weight of her family, her friends, and her guidance. As she reached the peak of the tall sand dune she could see them all just standing there...staring down on her with the look of abandonment, and failure. Magnus, Michael, and Sensei; all towering over her. She could feel it all deep down inside the pit of her stomach. "I'm sorry...I'm so so sorry." She would reach her hand out for Yumi sensei's only to watch his body fade to sand. One by one she would reach out frantically to grab hold of what she had lost only to have the wind carry it away. All but one remained; a hooded figure in the distance. He turned his head to reveal Mitsu, the one her heart truly cared for. She stood before him, gripping his cloak tightly. "Mitsu, please! Don't leave me too. I don't want to feel this cold no more." From the sand rose multiple figure that she could only recollect from that horrendous day. The Kech Merah, being led by Mitsu himself. It was the epitome of fear in her eyes as she gazed upon the reckoning of her demise. Consuming her in darkness she heard the loud echoing laugh of the monster she would come to fear most...herself.
Her eyes flew open as she snapped to attention. Her heart racing as she frantically struggled to remember where she was in time, and space. She was hiding in the rocky canyon side along the edge of the desert. She looked down at her hand shaking as she tried to calm her heart rate. Fine grains of sand sifted through her fingers as the shaking slowly ceased. "Hmmm, maybe next time you sleep a little longer, brat." An obnoxious voice muttered in her head. She knew what it was, but a part of her wished she did not as she glanced at the Nara clan's three layered seal on her right rib cage. "I warned you, girl, the day you sleep is the day I wake."
"You're right, it was reckless of me. I'm sorry." Shukaku gave Shikayumi a curious look; wondering why she would apologize to him. Wasn't like a human to treat a beast with respect. With a long winded yawn the Sannin rubbed the dark rings around her eyes; with all the sleep she wasn't getting they had become as thick as eye liner. Standing to her feet she would start moving toward the entrance of the cave. The cave stood in the face of the canyon, over six stories high. began checking the paper tags along the opening of the cave for damage. The tags held a sealing formula that would hide conceal chalkra signatures to even the most advance tracking ninja. She would never worry about her scent giving away her location; the desert was always shifting thus eliminating any trail she could have made.
"Stupid girl, we're hiding on the edge of nowhere, and you still won't let me take control?!" Shikayumi continued to attend to their blanket of security. "It's because I don't know what you'll do with an opportunity given. If you leave the cave we run the risk of being found. A safe life in hiding is better than a life on the run." Shukaku was quick to bark back, "It's still a s**t life!" Shikayumi sighed, "you could be a little bit nicer to me." Shukaku laughed in defience, "the hell with that."
Shikayumi would not push the envelope any further as she completed her check of the entrance. "Very well then." Sliding back into the mouth of the cave she sat back down on the cot. "So you, and Matatabi were kinda close, huh?" Shukaku could feel himself starting to relate to Shikayumi again, "What 's it to you!" And with that he would stop talking, leaving Shikayumi a window of opportunity to meditate in peace. Little did Shukaku know that he was paired with a scholar among the Nara, and that he just fell victim to reverse psychology. As she meditated, she wondered about the choices Magnus, and Michael were making. Were they good ones? Would they stop the Kech Merah? Until they did, she would continue to keep Shukaku out of harms way.
Shikayumi sat upon the cold ground. It reminded her of nothing from her previous life in Konoha; back when life was simple, and pure. She focused on the regulation, and control of the chalkra within herself. It was so much different than before where as the flow was that of a raging river being compared to a gentle stream; it would definitely take some time to adapt to the change in power. In her high state of mind the world around her would begin to grow more and more simple with each passing second. She could haer through the necessary noises around her which aloud her to hear the faintest drips of water on the cavern walls.
Still, as much as she fought the urge, she could not sweep away the thought of her friends, and loved ones. Where were they now? Had they won the battle ahead of them? Had they forgotten her? She refused to believe that they could as long as she never forgot about them. "They will come," she assured herself within her own mind. Within her own mind she pondered in the single ray of light as the long grasp of Shukaku wrapped around her neck. His grip was cold, and lonesome, as he pushed her against a stone pillar. "How can you believe such feeble fairy tales!? They have forgotten about you, and they have forgotten about us. Get that through that stupid brain of yours!" Shikayumi was scared as she struggled within her own mind. His hold was borderline strangling as she collected her thoughts into words. "As long as you remember them, you are never forgotten." She could have phrased it a little bit better, but the loosened grip of Shukaku made it clear that she had gotten her point across.
She dropped to her knees, grabbing her throat in relief, as she looked into the shadow where Shukaku was residing. "Matatabi would not have forgotten about you, and neither will I. My friends will come for us." She could hear the disagreeing sigh of Shukaku from a distance as she returned to her chalkra control. Although it seemed like the battle was a draw, Shukaku was truly the winner of this debate; for in the end he was the one to implement doubt into her mind. Shukaku was, by no means, stupid. He knew why Shikayumi was crunching down on the control of her own chalkra. It was all in the interest of controlling him permanently. However, in the back of his mind he kept thinking about the girls choice in words. "Us...We...she doesn't speak of herself as a singular figure. She recognizes that I am with her, whether or not I want to be here."
Shikayumi continued to focus on the flow of her chalkra as she felt the presence of Shukaku behind her. His hands pressing the ground behind her as he began to shed sand for her to manipulate. "You damn Nara's always try to plan your moves ten steps ahead. If you can pass the first step you're dead. Stop focusing on the future, and think about the immediate task Nara brat!" Shikayumi looked up at his eyes peering through the darkness. Was this the help of the one tailed beast?

The sand continued to push, and pull, in the blistering winds as the howling echoes reverberated off the walls of the cave. Within the cave stood Shikayumi, a relic of the old leaf village, trying to harness the power she was sworn to protect from a conspiring force of evil. She had been spending day, and night, toning this new power alongside her companion Shukaku, the one tailed demon. Although belligerent at times, Shukaku would show signs of compassion every so often.
"Focus on what's immediately before you, not whats waiting for us outside." Shukaku was a stern teacher; as coarse as the sand itself. Shikayumi maintained control of the sand; shifting its density from soft to solid. Over the last few weeks she had been practicing her accuracy and control by firing at stalactites that dangled from above. It felt a lot like weapon training, only instead of relying on a strength the key element would be chalkra. One by one she could hear the pitter patter of her projectiles meeting their targets.
The girls face was covered in dirt as it stuck to the sweat dripping down her face. She had been working her a** off to understand Shukaku, but more importantly, Shukaku would rarely let her sleep; She would try and rest via meditation, but the one tailed beast would eventually sever that opportunity. The young girl would only be able to do so much.
Shukaku looked at the young woman, feeling that it was time to put there practice to the test; see how focused she really was. Using the loose chalkra in the air, Shukaku lifted the sand on the outer ring from which Shikayumi stood; sending it darting toward the leaf ninja. "Now defend!" he roared as he would attempt to bury Shikayumi. He eyes lit up with shock as she quickly used what she had learned to pull in sand of her own to create a thick, dense sphere to protect herself.
Just in time, Shikayumi managed to seal herself within the earthly walls of her sphere as the pressure outside began to build. Slowly, the walls of her sphere began to close in on her as she pushed back. Then, in one fell swoop Shukaku tried to crush his keeper, burying her for eternity. The walls of the sphere cracked, and shuttered, but it still stood against the sand burial. To her surprise, she withstood against the test but what she hadn't realized in the dark was the markings running up and down her body. Seeing how she repressed defended against Shukaku's test she began to laugh; somewhat maniacally, as all the sand around her crumbled to the ground. As the sand was settling, a majority of it spiraled to her back as it created a gourd that strapped itself to her back.
Shukaku seemed upset that she was able to repress his power as he glared down at her. "...Your learning."
Magnus landed in front of a cave rumored to be the home of 1 tails. He knew his cousin was looking for him and no one has seen her in quite awhile. The world had descended in chaos and of anything he needed right now, it was family. He wondered at the exit not sure if he should go in or not. If push came to shove, he believed he would be faster than the demon by some margin and able to keep away should this proves that she is not here. "Shikayumi!!" Magnus called out into the cave.

Perhaps it was her deprivation of sleep, or the immaculate stress put on the body from her intense training, but for a moment Skikayumi thought she could hear her name reverberating off the walls. The sting of sweat in her eyes as she struggled to keep them open. "Mag...nus?"
"Hmm?!" Shukaku triggered from within, sensing the frailty of his host. Her knees shook as she struggled to keep her eyes open; her chalkra had finally reached its limit. Before she could investigate the familiar voice, the kunoichi gave into exhaustion as she began to fall forward. "Now's my chance!" Shukaku roared as the gourd on Shikayumi's back enveloped her like a cocoon as it accumulated sand from her surroundings. Slowly, what was once a gourd became a small, nimble version of Shukaku that would only grow the longer he collected sand.
"This feeling of freedom....FINALLY!" Shukaku thought as he let out a triumphant roar that would shake the very cave itself. From where Magnus was standing it woould sound like he had awaken the desert itself. It was like the roles of demon, and host, had been reversed, Shukaku now residing on the outside while Shikayumi's thoughts would kinder from the inside. Her hateful scorn towards Mitsutada, and the Kech Merah, would only feed Shukaku's lust for aggression as he made his way for the exit of the cave.
Magnus may have noticed the defensive precautions Shikayumi laid out around the entrance of the cave; the tags that concealed the tailed beasts chalkra from the Keck Merah. If Shukaku was to escape the cave,..
Magnus listened to the silence of the cave as he finally heard a weakened Shikayumi repeat his name. His instincts kicked in as he rushed into the cave just in time to see her be consumed by the gourd on her back. She wasn't known to carry one and why would she? The gourd begun to take form and turn into a demon. A small raccoon demon comprised of sand. "Shukaku? You have my cousin, you ferret! Give her back?!" He demanded of the one tails. The shukaku ignored him for the time being announcing his freedom and shaking the very cave around them. "I can't allow you to leave here!" Magnus said as he took off in a burst of speed flinging three tags towards the entrance to the cave looking to seal it off from the world outside trapping them underground.
