The Shrine of Sound is a place where people can go to worship their god, Yurijuro, the sound god. It isn't the main religion, but it is popular amongst civilians and certain shinobi. It's a calming place.

The clicking of heels could be heard within the shrine, Lars' boots would click with each step as he made his way in. His cloak danced against the harsh winds of the door behind him and soon they would shut. Lars kept walking forward, further into the shrine as he noticed the large statue standing in the middle as well as the priestess who warded off spirits in the priest's stead. She would stand herself up, brush herself off and look to Lars with soft and kind eyes,
"I see we have a visitor in the Shrine of Sound. Tell me sir, what is your name? What brings you here? Is it to praise and exalt the name of Yurijuro...?"
Lars would stand there for a moment, recollected his memory or what little of it remained, it would cause a sharp twinge of pain to come and go, concerning the priestess all the same. He would stammer and stutter with his words as he was trying to gather his thoughts once again. The bruises on his temple cause his mind to become clouded, jumbled up with many memories that were out of place, some that he had believed weren't even his but of another man that ran around with the same name as him. Then, it hit him...Lars. Lars was his name, but he felt as if he had no family ties, so his last name was thrown to the wind, discarded.
"My name....is....its Lars. Just Lars."
He relaxes, looking to the priestess with soft and cold eyes, resembling a man whose lost hope of the world's survival years ago, like a war veteran. He pulls his hood down to give the priestess a better look at him and it nearly shook the very core of her heart, remembering the face of the man that nearly obliterated the Hidden Mist out of spite with just one jutsu and held off multiple high-ranking shinobi while destroying the village too. It was that very reason that she fled to Otogakure and became a priestess, putting her faith in Yurijuro as the new village gave her nothing but eternal peace. She was now face to face with the real deal of a demon, she was taken back by the sudden reveal. She was going to open her mouth to say something, but Lars had already read her energy and analyzed her patterns, she was afraid of him, that could be seen with normal human eyes. He gave a soft sigh and clicked his tongue in annoyance, looking off to the side and then back over to her,
"I'm sorry miss, but i don't think praying to false idol will help me of my sins and it seems that you must ward off the spirits and demons that linger here because of my presence. I'm simply here to clear my head, nothing more."
He would sit himself down as she was preparing to do just as he said, she was still wary. She knew something was off about him and his current nature as opposed to the colored perception she had of him when she was in Kiri. She didn't know what to make of it but remained cautious for as long as Lars was there. Lars would lower his head and close his eyes, trying to piece together his memories and link them to where they should be in order.
Faint footsteps could be heard across the shrine as another figure approached. A simple robe was wrapped around his body, tied with a cord around the waist. He never was one to overdress. He was drawn to single presence in the shrine. Anyone who had lived in Kirigakure knew it well. A darkness. An evil. And now that same... stench, had come to Otogakure. While the man in the simple robe preferred to let the law handle things, that only applied to human beings, and this thing was not human. At least, not anymore. It was an abomination. However, they both tread upon holy ground. It would be sacrilege to fight someone in such a place. For now, he would observe, learn.
He made his way to the corner of the shrine were a small pedestal with several burning incense sat. From his sleeves, a match appeared, lighting another, before he too sat down, seemingly deep in prayer. With is back turned to Lars, he gently loosened the knot on his robes, which would allow him to fling them off quickly in the event that a fight did break out.

Lars would only sit there, his head lowered as he would try to gather his thoughts. The priestess viewed him from afar cautiously with which he payed no attention to him. He smelled the malice off of another who had just walked in, one who seemed to want his head. Lars was punished thoroughly by his Kusakage a long time ago for his crimes in Kirigakure but it seems that the past will continue to haunt him until the day he dies. Like a shadow that follows and taunts him until one day it catches him in his dark clutches and drags him down deeper and deeper. Lars only looked for peace now, to live life anew as the monster that the divine beings shifted and turned him into by cruel fate and a bad hand that was dealt. He would only speak in a low monotone as he knew that prying eyes were watching him,
"Analyzing me is one thing but perhaps speaking would help you better?"
"Hmm?" Aydan said aloud, turning his head to face Lars, a confused look on his face, masking the emotion underneath. "Are you referring to me sir? I am but a humble servant of the gods. A caretaker of the grounds around this holy shrine. If I was staring, you must forgive me, I usually don't see many people around this place. I beg your pardon." He spun completely around, on his knees, and bowed at the waste, allowing his head to touch the ground for a brief moment. In that moment, Aydan could have done any number of thing. With a flick of his wrist, he could simply smite the area where Lars sat, utterly crushing him, or he could have applied a force to the floor and cause it to slam into the ceiling. Instead, he turned around and once again appeared to be praying at the small altar. It seemed the monster had his emotions under control. If he could harness that, Lars could be a weapon to unleash upon Otogakure's enemies. Perhaps attacking him would be a bad idea.

Lars only sighed, the Sannin was a dangerous foe if turned against, with just his legs alone, he could have leaped forward at an incomprehensible speed and separate Aydan's head from his body, shoot blood from his tongue that would turn his skin and bones to mush, or just flat out punch him with all of the strength he had in his fists to blow a hole through his chest. He was trying his best not to fight, he had become a rogue for a reason, to escape himself and what he once was.
"You can drop the act kid, i know your here to watch me. There's only a priest and priestess that work here. You ain't either one of 'em. Your energy that you give off is also a dead give away that you are no humble servant of the gods, you should be ashamed of yourself for lying in a holy place."
He sits back, crossing one leg over the other,
"so lets try this again, from the top, wanna tell me whats eating you?"
So, who the ******** are you? Katerina asked as they reached the shrine finally. She sat on the stairs leading into the shrine before the character who had barged into the office. She crossed her leg, locking her fingers over her knee and looking at him with her round eyes centered on his still. For him it would be as if she was just maintaining eye contact to make the conversation more intimate. She narrowed her gaze at him a bit as she looked at those eyes. As she looked at her one day prize. She wondered how difficult it would be to talk the eye off of him. She had a victimless idea in mind... but she wanted to know why he was there before she popped the question on him. For the moment she simply looked at his eyes, practically horny with anticipation on the inside but collected and calm on the outside. It was taking a lot for her not to simply reach out and sever his head. But that would probably annoy some people, namely him. Nah she had far more fun ways by which to get what she wanted... and without making enemies as well.
Gabriel followed the woman he took to be Lady K of The Sound Country with his surviving body guard. The moment she asked her question he put his hand up as to interrupt her. Walking away for a brief second the boy put two fingers to his temple. "What the ******** do you mean you guys got attacked? By what?! Shinobi?! Bah I'll just send Toronto then he can take care of them while I'm gone. It doesn't ******** matter if he'll get upset at you for calling him just do it. That better be fixed by the time I get back." Gabriel appeared to be finished with whatever he had been doing and walked back towards the woman. "My name is Gabriel Dos Santos Malavaes. I control the drug operations running in the Fire Country. I come here as a peace offering seeing as I wish to expand and your name has come up a lot. You see war is only a last resort deal with me. I have done it and last valuable assets. I've come to work out an arrangement for Oto." He said in a matter of fact sort of sense. If she did not see any arrangement being possible, Gabriel would go back to the Fire Country and begin planning his domination over the Otogakure Red Poles and slowly take over the drug operations existing within it.
Putting his back to Lars, Aydan rose, facing the wall. "I may not be a servant of this god, but I am a servant of a much stronger god. I will be in touch Lars." Saying nothing more, his body phased into pure light, passing through the wall before him, leaving the area.
Joukai Passive: Every seven posts, you can phase out into light. This is essentially a very short (two second long) ability that lets you turn into light every so often. It doesn't cost any chakra. You can travel a distance of up to twenty feet while phased.

Kya shifted in her seat as the boy spoke and adjusted her shirt a bit. So he was the tadpole making splashes on the edge of her lake. Kya would normally just squash him but instead she allowed him to speak, deciding that she wanted to at least know his position. She narrowed her eyes at his mention of war. She didn't mind harming people to get what she wanted and she was not above stabbing someone's eyelids out to get what she wanted. But behind his eyelids held treasures that she could potentially talk off of him Instead she simply stood up. "So, I have anidea that is a little risky but at the end, im prepared to make you a business partner of mine. Your drug empire could be lumped with mine for a greater sum for us both, and I would allow you to take over the entire bit of it, with me letting you have sole dominion over drugs under my empire. But first I do want something from you, Gabriel. I want one of your eyes. Of coruse, I have a plan to make sure you don't lose out on it, and I have something to sweeten the deal even further... Something of high value on the market."
Gabriel sighed. He had come all the way to Otogakure to meet someone he looked up to and there she was wanting something so irrelevant. People wanted his eyes. He was not new to this. For once he thought he would meet someone with grander desires other than just his eyes. She spoke to him like he was some petty vender. What was money to him anymore. He did not care for something that had 'high market value'. Money was never an issue. He wanted to expand. But the other Red Poles in adjacent countries already expressed their hatred for Gabriel after news of what he did to the Red Poles in the Fire Country reached them. War was coming for them, but if he could avoid it so be it. "What is this item of 'high value' you speak of?" Gabriel asked with his look of admiration gone.
I Will Rule The Shinobi World.

Kya could see his body language change, it was in his face. He'd probably been attacked for those eyes before. She wasn't in the business of killing potential business partners. She smiled however as he asked what the high value item was and decided to hold off on telling him right off. Mr. Malaves, you know what helps in avoiding war? Making friends. She uncrossed her legs and leaned back on the steps looking up at him and his bodyguard. I built my market on my own, with small help from few people. It was rough and there was pain to be divided unequally among me and my enemies. However I am aware that it would have been far easier with a partner. Kya pulled her sleeves up nonthreateningly before she continued. I have connections to people in the pharmaceutical industry of this village. Strong ones in fact. I get pumped down very powerful formulas and I have some very bright minds that put them together. As far as money goes, I have a very long and overcomplicated system to clean up trails of money and move it without impeding progress. I can afford to buy hit men and supply people with whatever they need to keep their interests stable. I can see you are a smarter man than any I have employed from the stories I have heard. She revealed that she was entirely aware of the fire country and the dealings he has had with everyone therein. With your keen mind in the drug game, and my boundless resources we both stand to make a lot of money. Better than that, we both stand to have a lot of power and influence. She craned her neck. I'm not just offering you a piece. I'm offering you a partnership. She stood up and cleared her throat. And of course if that isn't of high enough value, I am poised to be in possession of a Queen's drop, able to bring the dead to life. I have seen it work with my own two eyes actually. It could all be yours. The resources, the power, the influence. Just think, no one wants to go to war with Kya or the Kingpin. No more lost assets. Much less drama. Much more control. I just want one little thing. A fair compromise too, since I can get it back. Its of little loss and total gain for you. It was true, she was offering him a lot. Truth be told she was becoming tired of running drugs and doing everything alone. She would rather deal with other things of her own accord and have someone run drugs in her empire for her. Her own little cartel boss. And she would have something she always wanted...
Gabriel stood in silence listening to what Kya had to say. She was a very articulate and knowledgeable of the business world in which the two indirectly affected. After she was done, Gabriel paced around a little bit nodding when in reality he was just trying to wonder what in living hell the woman was doing offering him a Queen's Drop for one of the most powerful eyes in the shinobi world. Even the guard looked uneasy at the idea. He knew what the rinnegan could do and the Queens Drop was something people told to their kids before going to bed. Gabriel knew it worked though. He tried to get one after, Bruna died back in the bunker days. If he could he would bring them all back, but not for one of his eyes Especially to not someone as powerful as Kya if her stories were true. The guard tapped, Gabriel on the shoulder and asked him if he was actually contemplating giving her his eye. Gabriel looked at the man with a look of pure confusion. "You're still here?! I swear I killed you!" He shouted with indignation. "No, sir. You killed Le-" The man flopped against the just like the other had. A black ball flying through his forehead. "I hire these guys for looks. I don't have time to waste with peasants." He explained moving the corpses head a little to the side with his foot.
"I hate it." He said flat out. "You want my eye for something that I could get on my own terms. Except, you can not get these anywhere. I might have a few distant cousins around, but finding them is hard. You know. Being hunted and all. I'll tell you what though." He paused making a triangle with his hands and placing it in front of his nose. "You train me. Get me stronger and I'll give you one of my eyes. You can keep the Queens Drop." It had just occurred to Gabriel that the guard he just killed new the way to and from Oto.
I Will Rule The Shinobi World.

Kya smirked at him. He did indeed want to bargain with her, but Kya would find his deal intersting. "Train you? A smart business man sure but worth training? Let's see if you're worth it." Kya would hold out a hand, calling something special to her hand in a flash of light. The reason she was widely considered to be one of the legendary three. The second after the flash of light, a blaze of white fire would surround a shield. In her other hand a flaming sword would appear.
Gabriel watched as Kya created some sort of shield and manifested a flaming sword. He grinned taking a step back himself to get his own weapon. Creating in his right hand the A ranked variant of the Nunoboko Blade. Revealing it's actual form would decimate the area where the two found themselves and he wasn't in the mood to deal with Otogakure officials. With the flick of a wrist, two dark spheres would form from the palm of his left hand. Their form changing into claymore-like swords protecting his sides.
The boy would advance on Kya. His eyes paying attention to any minor detail. Any action even by the smallest fraction of a second he would see and parry. He did not have any knowledge of sword styles yet and so his attack would be a basic horizontal slice. He assumed she'd block with her shield and had his two floating claymores to react.
