It's a normal day for you, whatever that entails, and you're deeply involved in whatever it is that you're doing. So deeply, in fact, that you don't notice the soft crunching of hooves in the snow until someone coughs. You look up and a pale stallion with a gentle smile is standing before you, expectant in in demeanor and expression.
"Wow," he breathes, shifted excitedly from one front hoof to another, "you look just like us -- I mean -- you would wouldn't you? I mean... you're one of us -- " he halts his speech and gathers himself again, clearly trying to parse through his thoughts. After a long, silent moment as you stare in confusion at the stallion, he finally speaks.
"My name is Lucian Misae... I'm related to you... somehow," you can see him struggling to regain his slowly scattering thoughts, "and I wanted to know... that is... I had hoped you would come... You are formally invited to the very first Misae Family Reunion!"
