Well Berry, far as I can figure, your Z'yden and my V'rind would have been candidates just a few years apart at HR, and since she was from a minor hold under Nabol (though not Nabol itself) they probably could bond a bit over having had that in semi-common. Not to mention they'd have both been at HRW for the last decade and a half at least, no doubt they'd have at least met once. I'd be cool with them being long-time buddies, especially because blue dragons!
Aaaand for Jarah or Safira, I have a new-to-Western rider, A'iel, whoooo has been a rider for 9 years, but has a really unfortunate case of baby face, and is more or less continuously being mistaken for a candidate in his mid-teens. Just a funny encounter, or a chance to make friends, etc.
