Information
Now that the pride has stabilized with a new ruler and many of the gaps within the ranks are closing, Queen Kimondo has decided to move onto the next major project: reestablishing a connection with the West House of the Tianxia.
When Shangyue took over the pride, one of his victims was his father, Lord Fuu from the Tianxia. Killing him effectively ended the alliance that the Mwezi'Johari had with the West House, and no effort has been made by either side to communicate since then. It is known that news did reach the West House, though very few know how.
The Plan
Queen Kimondo believes strongly that to show their sincerity in reconnecting, she needs to go to the Tianxia herself. Finally, the alliance will be discussed directly between the leaders of the two groups instead of through messengers arranging marriages. She will not be dissuaded from this, though surely more than a few have tried.
With her, Kimondo will take an appropriate number of Guards for protection, Hunters to keep them all fed, and at least one Historian for posterity. She will also encourage Hosts, Slaves and Nobility to join the group on the trip to participate in the cultural exchange and make connections.
About the Road Trip
Kimondo will not leave the pride until her cubs are adolescents, this plot will not begin until sometime in November.

Participants
Hunters will be providing for the group as they travel, with the help of any Slaves who volunteer. As needed, all members who travel may be expected to help out. The number needed will depend on the group size.
Guards will be providing additional protection for the group, but their primary goal is to keep the Queen safe while she travels. At least two dedicated guards are needed, but more are welcome/encouraged.
Slaves will be helping both Hunters and Guards while getting an opportunity to get out and about more. This is also another chance for Slaves to be freed by Kimondo - she will be asking Slave Mother & Father Nerit & Unyezi to name slaves who seem unhappy and they will be brought along for the trip, and given the opportunity to leave.
Hosts, as the leaders of the Mwezi'Johari social events, are invited along to see what can be learned from the artistic West House- or what they might be able to teach them!
Nobility and other members of the High Class are being encouraged to come along to help the Mwezi'Johari learn about the West House culture, pass on some of their own and make connections. There is also some expectation that some marriages and/or children will result from this visit. It wouldn't necessarily be limited to the High Class, but those of Noble Class and/or Royal Blood are more likely to be specially familiar with the idea as a way of solidifying an alliance.
It is a long trip to the Tianxia, they live off of the general SoA region map. This group will be gone for about 4 OOC months. If you want to get technical about it, one growth period (4mos) equates to about 2 years. We don't think about it that way, though, but just know.. they will be gone for a significant amount of time ICly.
The Pride Left Behind
Acting Regent: Hodari (belloblossom), Kimondo's sister and heir, has been asked to rule over the pride while the Queen is away. She will, of course, have the support of Shaman Lailah K'chol (mouselet).
Day to day life in the pride is expected to be more or less the same, just absent a chunk of the population.
Head Guard, Head Hunter and High Priests are being encouraged to stay home where they are needed. Anybody with cubs is also being encouraged to stay home. Cubs are not welcome on this long trip, they should grow up safely at home.
OOC Notes
OOCly, it is well known that Selene & Fuu survived the attack by Shangyue and are now living quietly in the Tianxia. ICly, the only lions who know this are Meshach, Runa, Rona, Kamia, Ota and now Kimondo. This is among the reasons that Kimondo wants to go to the West House herself, but it is not something that would be known to everybody else.
Please do not sign up expecting your character to learn of their survival, it may not happen.
And yes, Safaia is aware that her pride is going to be invaded by a small, amicable force of moon lions.
Please don't sign up all of your lions. Someone has to stay home! xD

- Yoru will be joining the group at his mother's bidding. xD (Hodari may not be going herself, so she'll shove all of her children into the journey to make sure they'll protect Kimondo on her behalf.) 
- Akarui (Huntress) will also be attending this journey. 
- Kasai will be going on this trip too! Recently made a Hunt Leader (I need to get her cert updated, I know) she is determined to be included (cause who knows, she might meet a handsome lion over in this other pride they're visiting.
