Kim'acha loved it when it rained. Sure, she was already half blind, so the fact that all she could see was a sheet of rain didn't help, but she loved the sound. If she stepped into it, she loved the feeling of it hitting her body and relaxing a bunch of muscles.
The bright yellow lioness had gotten separated from her hunting party because of her eyesight and the rain dulled their scents to basically nothing. Of course Kim'acha knew where the pride was, knew where they were headed, but for some reason she couldn't bring herself to actually go back to hunting right now. Instead, she headed back to her pride, just at a much slower rate. There was no huge hurry for her. It had been a long time since anything ill fated happened to her, that she didn't even think she was tempting it right now.
Kim'acha looked up to the sky, standing there in the rain at the border of her pride and maybe even opened her mouth and stuck her tongue out. Might as well get her mouth wet a little bit.
However, the scent of blood filled her nose and it didn't smell like a kill. It was just a little tease. She opened her mouth to get a better smell and then slowly moved the way that faint scent was coming from. It wasn't getting washed away immediately. Was something still bleeding?
"Hel-llo?" Her stutter made Kim'acha mentally sigh. She would never get rid of it, would she?

"Okay..." She took a calm breath and moved to his back side, shifting a little to push her face closer. She saw how bad it was. He had a number of gashes on his back half, his thighs even. "You're h-hurt b-badly.." Panic was starting to over take her. She knew she'd smelt blood, but this was more than she thought. Luckily, though, she could stop it.
Even as blind as she was, Kim'acha moved around this area like she knew it like the back of her paw.
Upon being given a name, however, the yellow lioness paused and she gave him a little smile. "Bast'ion? Tha-that's a ni-nice name." Then she went back to gathering a few leaves and looking around for a bit of mud, maybe.
"M-mud will st-stop the bleeding... L-leaves will kee-keep it clean."
