Prof. Moonie beaulolais our cats lay on the porch like furry zombies a month ago they were frisky kitties, but the heat has zapped them I know around here the heat has been zapping everyone's energy. The wildfire smoke that's blown into our area hasn't helped either. Today probably has been the first day that's actually been tolerable - uppers 50s/lower 60s, no smoke (that I can tell), and it actually misted a little bit.
poor kitties!
whilst we stay inside with filtered air, they must suffer from the taint.

Not everyone has filtered air systems...
And if the air conditions are so bad, ideally one would bring the animals inside to help keep them healthy. Or at least minimize the amount of time an animal is outside, if they go stir crazy being inside for too long or need to go to the bathroom outside.
