She...she won her first round! It was something she honestly hadn't expected, and was waiting to be told that it was a mistake. Ojai wasn't much of a fighter, but perhaps she also wasn't as terrible at it as she had originally thought.
She was just on the heels of her first victory, and while she was feeling tired, she also had the adrenaline rush to get the next round going.
"Hi!" she greeted her opponent, rather happy it wasn't a fellow clan member this time. "My name is Ojai. Are you ready?"

Sometimes you just needed a good tournament to get you out and meeting people from the other Clans. Tishkari had tried before and failed to get notably far, but that was just fine with her. It wasn't about winning or losing, but celebrating the annual Festival.
"I'm Tishkari," the former rogue introduced herself politely, smiling at Ojai. It was always nice to meet a lioness who was happy to be as friendly as anyone could wish.
"Yes, I'm ready. Why not start?"

"Ah, yes! Let us do our best, Tishkari!"
Perhaps later she would ask what clan she was from. Ojai had never been one to really socialize at the festival before now; perhaps that was why she was feeling so nervous this year. She was putting forth an effort to better herself, to grow her own little world outside of the Mantis clan.
She offered another polite nod to her opponent before tensing up her body, rushing forward to offer a blow to the lioness' shoulder. She tried her best to not let herself get too excited for landing a hit; the fight only just started!
