After approximately five years of painstakingly designing my own little house and barely even getting anywhere with it, my Mom has found an ideal apartment complex near the library that I work at.
If all goes well, I’ll be moving to the city in late January of next year at the earliest! Whoo-hoo!!! blaugh
(That doesn’t mean that my dream house plans have been completely abandoned. I’ve just finished what would hopefully be my final draft of the floor plan recently and I’m leaving the rest of the design work with my Dad.)
And now, the next step... furniture design and food planning! I’ve already hoarded plenty of magazines to use as inspiration since day one, so I’m looking forward to applying what I’ve learned to make my own dream of an independent lifestyle come true. I just need to worry about the basics for the time being.
