Physical Description: A wiry and wispy thing, Tarnaria has masses of dark hair that look more like a large feline's mane than hair. Curious eyes peek out at the world from behind it, of a dark amber color, amid a freckled face. She stands quite tall for a girl, close to six feet.
Personality: Eager but shy, Tarnaria throws herself into many of the things she does whole-heartedly. She's not so fond of some of the Candidate chores, but she accepts that it's part of what she must do to maybe become a rider, a part of her duties. After all, even the Weyrwoman had to do the chores once! No that she's sure she'd ever want to be a Weyrwoman, though she'd be happy with any dragon because that would be her dragon, and therefore the best dragon she'd know by default. She does miss her family, and her old craft, and the fun things she could make with the bread if her mother allowed her, but she's pleased to be in the Weyr. And if she ages out of candidacy, she'll happily take up residence in the kitchens as another skilled baker!

History: Born at Tillek Hold, Tarnaria was one of many children... On her father's side. She grew up with a couple brothers and sisters from her mother, but dozens of brothers and sisters from her father, as her mother was his fourth marriage. Together they formed a large baking family, a proud family tradition going back many generations closer to Tillek's founding. It was in the family's kitchens she learned how to bake various breads and treats, even from a very young age, helping as small children could help. While she was never want for playmates due to her smattering of brothers and sisters, she found herself far more interested in the baking aspect and what she could do with bread dough if she shaped it right - By the age of 12 Turns, she'd started making 'dragon bread', bread she'd shaped to look (rather vaguely) like dragons.

When she was 14 turns, she attended a festival with her family, happy to sell her 'dragon bread' to people who'd come in from around Tillek and wouldn't otherwise see it. It was doing this that she met a Rider, from High Reaches, for the first time, and properly saw a dragon for the first time(Up until then, she'd only seen them from a distance). The dragon surely saw something in her, and she was soon wisked away to High Reaches, her parents understanding that she may not Impress, but could still bring their family great honor even from the High Reaches kitchens.
Other: She probably still smells like bread, it may well be part of her very DNA by now

DRAGON
Name: Pinilth
Personality If Tarnaria thought she was shy and meek, she's nothing compared to Pinilth! This is a dragon who very much wants to vanish into the crowd, just another face among many. That can be hard to do with her size, but that doesn't stop her from trying! She's a pleaser, ready to follow orders and do her best while managing to fly under the radar, happy to get a "Good job!" for her work instead of loud praises. When she flies, she prefers to hang back, watching and observing. Pinilth knows many things about many dragons, but this is information she mostly keeps to herself, her own little bits of knowledge, from one dragon's favorite meat to another's preference of mud and water temperature. There's a dragon over there, you see, who prefers the ice-cold waters of the mountains to bathe in, versus the sun-warmed waters of the sea...

Adult Size: Extra Large
Physical Attributes: A bit on the pudgy side, Pinilth, while large for her color, is also shorter of limb. Her size mainly comes from her girth, and while she could be described as lazy, it's more that she simply likes to eat. Under her fat hides her muscle, the true source of her heavier weight. This slows her down, but she doesn't mind at all, since it keeps in line with her already liking to hang back. Her wings, unlike her legs, are longer, though the membranes are broad. Either in spite of or because of her bulkier weight, she has good stamina, lasting for the entire duration of her color's flight in Threadfall.
Additional Notes: Despite being a dragon, Pinilth has developed a taste for bread. Her favorites are sweet breads, a bit on the stale side after sitting out for a while. When she rises, she prefers to test the endurance of the boys chasing her - It's not about if they can keep up, anybody can do that! How long can they last? It's the only time she likes to be the center of attention.
Why Me: In Tarnaria, Pinilth sees a similar soul, somebody who compliments her own personality. Not nearly as shy, maybe that little hint bolder, a bit more ready to talk and be with others, but still similar enough that it's comforting. There is the comfort zone, of which Pinilth is happy to remain in, but then there's Beyond The Comfort Zone, which Tarnaria steps out of just enough to not be overwhelming. In the future with Hers, Pinilth sees an opportunity for easing into being with others, or getting more into the limelight, to bolden her horizons. With Tarnaria by her side, Pinilth will happily fight Thread, and then return to the Weyr and maybe, if she could just squeeze into the kitchens... Help make bread.
