It was early, but that didn't bother Lusialu, who had been woken from her sleep by her newest little one, Surprise. The small green was a sweet heart, but she certainly was far more demanding than Honeycomb or Seaglass. In fact, the little darling had no problem getting right up in her face when she wanted something and felt ignored; while the young woman didn't want to encourage the behavior, she also knew that the sooner breakfast was served, the sooner things could quiet down. She didn't want to upset her fellow Candidates by waking all of them at this Faranth forsaken hour on their rest-day.
Lusialu had dressed hurriedly, shushing her now fully-awake fair as best she could. By the time she made it out of the Barracks and over to the Dining Hall, the frigid air had chased most of the sleep away. She loved the snow, but she never cared much for the cold. Thankfully, a fire was stoked in the Great Hearth, and while there weren't many out and about yet, breakfast was already available. It wouldn't be long before more of the Weyr stirred to life--just becuase the Candidates could sleep in didn't mean every Wing could, or other workers of the Weyr.
"Yes, yes, I'm coming," she assured her three, hurrying to make up a small bowl of porridge and fruit. She took a few meatrolls, and bit of fried up porcine, somehow managed to pour a cup of klah, and then went to look for a place to seat. During those few moments, Honeycomb had taken it upon himself to pick a seat himself. Landing on the edge of the table, the little bronze looked Haveli over, before offering a peep in greeting. Seaglass, who often followed the bronze, settled on the back of a nearby chair, and little baby Surprise came to a skid on the table. The little green immediately turned red eyes up to Haveli, peeping in hunger, hoping she might by sympathetic to a starving baby flit.
Lusialu grimaced. "Hey now, stop begging and leave the poor woman alone," she offered an apologetic smile to Haveli, even as she set down some of her breakfast. She had every intention of chopping up fresh meat for her three--but not until after her own. She had learned early on that as soon as she gave in to their begs and got into a routine, they would wake her up at any hour. Surprise was still learning the routine... but Honeycomb and Seaglass were far more patient.
It helped that sometimes Lusialu's breakfast allowed for a snack or two.
"I hope they're not bothering you too much. She's still figuring out the routine." She explained, trying to settle herself so she could pull Surprise further back and out of Haveli's personal space.

"It's fine." Haveli was hardly paying any mind to the sudden company, because it would have been ridiculous for her to expect to be able to eat alone for the duration. Weyrs were loud and crowded and always busy, something that could be considered a blessing or a curse depending on a person's nature and how they happened to be feeling that particular day. She had been semi-eating, semi-over thinking, so the arrival had been just enough to jar her back awake and into eating her meal properly. "I don't mind firelizards, especially the fresh hatched." There was a chance this firelizard was just small for her size but the woman before her commented on the situation and cleared the air. "She's quite cute."
Cute enough to merit a comment, and certainly cute enough to merit jealousy from a pale green who happened to pop in from Between as though summoned. Which she was, summoned that is, in the most idle of Haveli's thoughts over how lovely green firelizards happened to be and the few memories she had of Spite crawling to her for food. The larger firelizard hissed her disapproval at this sudden interloper - any meal Haveli shared would only be with her thank you - but it was weak at best and vanished the moment Haveli raised her glance up.
"They're all quite lovely." A spoonful of whatever potage they were eating was ferried into Haveli's mouth, going down delicious when chased behind by klah. Today's meal was perfect for the cold with the comfort it provided, and Haveli sighed out a satisfied breath. Spite landed atop her head and nested in to the messy bun, wriggling down a bit as she kept her eyes trained on the other green flitter.
Also. "...good morning." A greeting was probably in order, if she was going to have proper company. Eating in silence was allowed and welcomed by most, but rude manners not so much. Not with all the hustle and bustle that would soon be flooding the Weyr.
