Soon after the events of the attack on the Citadel by the Jashinists, Miki meets a new friend by the name of Obei.

Miki had found herself in Arashi almost immediately after leaving the Citadel. The last thing she remembered was having a demon sealed within her and the Hokage telling her to escape with her life. There was little argument or choice there. Miki was far too exhausted after the sealing technique had been completed. More importantly she found her mind racing on the possible outcomes of having a demon sealed in her.
As she traced through the various alleyways of Arashi, Miki found herself at the door step of a local bar. It wasn't necessarily the nicest looking place, but it definitely wasn't the worst either. Regardless of the outward appearance of the bar, Miki decided to go into the building. All she knew was she needed a strong drink after all of the recent happenings and that's exactly what she planned on doing. Once inside, Miki saw that there were various people scattered throughout the room. From the looks of things, the bar was really only about half full. Many of them appeared to be local workers, perhaps from a nearby factory.
After scanning the room, Miki decided to take a seat right at the bar. Almost immediately the bar tender was already asking what the girl wanted to drink. 'Fast service.' Miki thought to herself as she ordered a shot of whiskey and a fruity mixed drink. Now that her drink was ordered, she was afforded the opportunity to take a closer look at the people present. Immediately, Miki's eyes laid on a rather tall woman who appeared to be sitting by herself. It seemed almost impossible that a person could be so tall, but something about her intrigued Miki. She was different than the others, not just physically, but Miki could tell her chakra levels were higher. Perhaps she were a shinobi.
Without much thought, Miki stood from her barstool and walked over to the tall woman with a horn. "Excuse me, but would you mind if I sat here?" The much shorter woman smiled up at Obei, giving her the friendliest smile she could muster at the moment. "It's okay if not." In truth, Miki did hope that she could speak sit with the woman. The girl was beginning to feel alone, something she wasn't really used to and a feeling she hated all together. Whoever this tall woman was, Miki just knew that sitting next to her would provide some sort of companionship. Even if they didn't talk, she just wouldn't feel as alone.
The days for the oni had been fairly uneventful. Obei had been her usual self since the mission with the ever excitable shark, Eirene. While she was a nice girl, her endless amount of wandering around exhausted the already sullen and calm giant. She had debated just pushing her into the ground and letting her stay there until she could learn how to control herself. But after that little distraction, the oni returned to one of her many favorite past times in Arashi: spending her hard earned salary of being a chuunin on alcohol. She was already skillful at brewing due to her heritage, but finding some of the little samples that the humans of the world could produce. Obei already had enough glasses for an entire branch of the Arashi military to be fallen. But still, she'd just down the next cup and bring it down on the table, feeling only a bit tipsy at best. It was one issue with the alcohol around Arashi. It lacked any kind of kick or strength. To Obei, she might as well have been drinking apple juice.
In the middle of her drinking, Obei looked towards the sound of a voice that was nearby. Her crimson, hollow eyes settled on the lavender haired woman that had spoken to her. She'd ask to sit by the oni as the pale faced woman would simply nod in response, putting around claw full of ryo on the counter for the bartender to take. "I need that top shelf stuff for my clientele, you know." he protested while fetching what looked to be her fourth glass of beer. the liquid was uncorked as he'd pour a tray full of glasses for Obei, who accept them without so much as one word. "At least the whiskey's easy to come by. But you just want my best stuff!" The oni would pound away two glasses in half that time, her eyes missing that lively nature a lot of the ninja and people possessed. Like she was fully hollow. Once done, Obei's eyes moved to the bartender with a huff. "Human brew weak. Very weak. You get money back for brew. No complain." With that said in a faint and unemotional gruff, she'd turn to the woman.
"Obei not care. Sit." she shrugged, busy moving onto her next few cups of ale while the bartender would begin to clean up the empty cups that surrounded her to make room for the newcomer. The oni craned her head downwards while narrowing her eyes. No wonder why she was familiar. She was the woman from the reports done on the events of the Citadel. The new host of Kurama after the previous one in Konohagakure. Of course, it wasn't in Obei's best interests to announce it to the world. She'd just go along with things for now. "Brew good here. But weak. Very weak. Obei wish could make family brew again. Better than any human brew." she attempted some point of conversation, turning to the woman.
"Is nice to meet stranger. Obei happy to see."

Miki took the simple nod as enough for her to climb onto the barstool next to Obei. The girl felt as though she probably looked almost like a child in comparison to Obei. Her legs being unable to reach the ground of the bar only exasperated this feeling. It wasn't something that bothered her, after all she didn't really care what other people thought of her height. "I need that top shelf stuff for my clientele, you know." Miki's attention moved onto the bartender who was complaining about Obei's large liquor consumption. 'By the looks of things, she is your clientele.' Was all Miki could really think as he complained about the money being handed to him. Though the conversation between Obei and the bartender did manage to highlight the amount of drinks Obei was able to pack away. Miki knew there was no way she would be able to handle that. Well, without having to be saved by a medic-nin that is.
The bartender managed to slide the drinks Miki ordered in after Obei's rounds of drinks. "Thank you." The woman said to the man as she turned slightly in her seat to face Obei. Miki had to look up to see the woman properly. "I don't drink a lot... or at all really." Miki gripped the shot glass of whiskey she had ordered and immediately shot it back. The girl couldn't help but make a sour face as the liquid touched her tongue. If this stuff was weak, Miki could only imagine what Obei meant when she said that her families brew was better than this. "I don't know if I could handle it, but I'd like to try it."
"It's nice to meet you too. I'm Miki." Miki's hand moved her shot glass aside before pulling her other drink closer to her. The woman lifted the glass and took a sip. This drink was certainly a lot more to her liking than the whiskey she had ordered. "Why can't you make your family brew any more Obei?" Although the large woman hadn't formally introduced herself, Miki figured she were referring to herself when saying Obei. At least that's what she hoped. It would be awkward if she were wrong about that. The question itself may end up being to personal for Obei to answer, but Miki figure she may as well ask. Perhaps it was something Miki could help with.
Obei watched Miki take her shot of whiskey idly. How she battle the taste in her mouth brought Obei back to when she had tasted her own brew for such a short time. It was almost like an eon since she was a baby, drinking from the watered down version of her clan's sake. She let out a soft chuckle. For such a small woman, she put up a good fight. Hopefully it was good enough for her tastes, although Obei was far above her in terms of alcohol tolerance. At the introduction, Obei would give a gentle nod of her head, the blackened horn embedded in her forehead never moving from place. "Nice to meet...Me-key." At her request to try her clan's sake, she'd lift an eyebrow in interest, one of the only few looks she could give somebody without seeming too creepy. But at that question why she couldn't make it, well, that could be shown to her directly. It was also kind of an honor, in a way. But she probably wouldn't really care for oni ways given her upbringing.
Obei would pause and lift herself from her seat. "Wait here." she casually would walk outside and just out of the door, where a large gourd would be placed, leaning on the wall. It was easily the size of an average human and weight almost just as much considering its contents. The oni picked it up with one hand and slung it over her shoulder before walking back inside. Maybe Miki had seen it coming in, but she'd get the empty shot glass where the whiskey had been in for a short time and uncork the top. Obei leaned it over carefully as her brew would slowly slid into the glass. It was a light clue, clear color, and also was contained with pieces of crushed ice, Kakkigori. Yet Obei would only fill it up a sixth of the way to what bartenders normally did. The liquid caused the gloss to become chilled, a hazy layer of frost coating the bottom of the glass. When Miki looked at Obei as to why, the towering woman would motion for her to take a drink.
When Miki did, the results were sudden.
The strength of her alcohol was as if Obei had thrown her into the wall headfirst. A one, two punch of the strongest alcohol she had ever tasted before. It was strong but had a somewhat sweet taste to it that she wouldn't have prepared for, almost fruity in a way. As Miki would experience the ale, Obei would lift the massive gourd to her mouth and drink several mouthfuls from it as if it were nothing. She wiped her lips and let out an amused huff at the smaller woman. "That why. Too strong for humans. Obei want share but nobody like it. So Obei only make for Obei. Is sad. Very sad. What good sake if Obei not have people to give sake to?" she pouted to herself, setting the gourd back down as it would be at eye level with the Miki. "What Miki come in for?"

Miki was surprised by Obei getting up to leave. 'I wonder where she's going.' The girl thought to herself, kicking her legs back and forth while she took sips of her drink. Fortunately, the woman didn't have to wait long as Obei came back into the bar carrying a rather large gourd. The size of the gourd didn't seem that bad until Obei had come to Miki, causing the girl to see that the thing was nearly the same size as her. "Wow that's a lot." Miki watched curiously as Obei poured some of the clear liquid into her drink. The girls' eyes widened as the glass became chilled by the liquid. Once it seemed Obei was done pouring, Miki would pick up the glass and examine it. "Woooooahhh! That's so cool Obei!" Miki was suddenly excited at the prospect of enjoying this drink.
Before she would shoot back the strange liquor, Miki would raise the glass up to the large woman. The sixth of the glass was quickly consumed. Immediately Miki's face puckered up again, almost to the point where it threatened to revert into itself. Past the rather over powering taste of the liquor, Miki was able to pick out the sweet portions of the drink. The sweetness of the drink almost made the drink bearable to the novice drinker. "Wow Obei, that is super strong. But, I like it very much. Thank you for letting me try it." Miki's head bowed a bit as she thanked the other woman.
The effects of the alcohol were quicker than Miki thought they would be, but that should have been expected by how strong it was. For a moment the room spun, Miki only being pulled back into focus by Obei's voice. "I'm sorry other people don't like it Obei. I'd love to try more! You'll just have to give me some time to get used to it." Miki smiled up at the woman before watching Obei set it down. 'Why did I come in here?' Miki thought to herself. "I suppose I was just looking for a strong drink and a perhaps a friend. It seems I've found both!" Miki smiled at Obei again. "Do you know much about Arashi? I've never been here before."
"Mm." Obei nodded. "Obei ale strange. Very strange. Hee-Yo-Ton chakra make hard to make liquid. Obei crush to infuse with ice. Make Obei cold though. Why hands cover." She'd motion to her large hands, both of which were kept under the protection of her gauntlets. Miki might be able to feel the cold shilling the steel of each, though Obei dared not to show her what lied underneath. It was a first meeting and it might spook the poor thing.
Miki reacted just as many people had before her: knocked on her a** and overpowered by the strength that the ale provided her with. Obei really couldn't blame her, as her kin had a love of anything high in spirits and were well known for their alcohol tolerance as well as dubious strength. What she didn't count on was the woman actually managed to pull through the entire feeling. Color her impressed. Obei would let out a peppy huff and and look down towards her smaller friend. "Me-Key welcome. Obei happy you enjoy." She couldn't really express her gratitude fully because of her stoic expression but perhaps Miki could make it out from her? Or not. It was a first impressions after all. The topic moved onto what Miki was doing in a bar like this as the answer surprised Obei. Somebody like her should have had no problem acquiring either of those two things, though the oni was honored to count herself as somebody who could have talked to her. "Obei happy Me-key find both." she managed a small smile towards the girl while taking another long chug of her gourd while mulling about her question. "Obei live in Arashi for a while. It nice. Very nice. Obei show Me-key if Me-key want." she offered.
"It have long history. Last Kage leave. Corrupted. Good people here though. Very good people. People like Me-Key."

"Hyouton huh? I've never met anyone that could use that before. That's kind of exciting!" Miki smiled, she always enjoyed meeting new people and new types of people. The girl wanted to see all there was to see of this world and it always excited her to witness new things. Obei was certainly unlike anyone Miki had ever met before, that was clear so far. It was a nice change of pace and something told Miki that her gratitude was sincere. For some reason ever since she had the demon placed within her, she was able to pick up on other's feelings much easier, no matter how deep they were hidden. Miki wished she knew how to control that, it wasn't always good to be able to pick up on other's feelings so easily.
The girl felt slightly flustered at Obei's compliment. Perhaps it was the drink, but it made Miki smile. "I'm glad you think I'm a good person. I think you're a good person too. I'd love if you could show me around Obei!" Miki couldn't give up a chance like that. If anyone was going to be able to show Miki the best places to go in Arashi, that was gonna be a native of the village. The girl pulled her drink back to her lips and quickly downed it before placing some Ryo on the counter for the bartender. Miki was clearly excited as she jumped from her chair and tugged on Obei's arm slightly. "You gotta show me everything!" The girl smiled as she pulled at Obei's arm again, pull oddly a lot stronger than one could expect from a girl her size. There was definitely some muscle behind those pulls.
Obei watched the young Miki practically fawn over her jumping up and down at the chance of getting a personal tour around Arashi. The oni's eyes followed the lavender wearing girl as she felt her pull her sleeve. Instantly, Obei thought back to Saki and Amaya, both of which were far younger than either of them though participated in the same thing to keep her attention. Obei felt a pang of melancholy as she'd frown at their memory together. Maybe she could go and see if they were free to hang out some time. Maybe they could talk? She'd get up from her seat while Miki would continue to pull at her sleeve while the would pick up her gourd and smirk. "Obei will. Calm down before Me-Key hurt Me-Key self." She'd take the girl with her outside of the bar while walking alongside her on the street. It was a cool mid-day in Arashi, although some people would be out and about.
"We in Old Town." Obei began, motioning to the many old fashioned buildings around them. It would mostly be comprised on either bars, restaurants, and maybe the occasional home business of some product being manufactured. Such wonderful aromas came from the open windows as she might catch an eye of the bakers taking a fresh pie out of the oven, or perhaps catching a glimpse at some workers sharing a meal for lunch. "First place built in Arashi. Where bars and ale are. Is old. very old." She'd turn a corner with Miki hanging onto her sleeve still. For such a small girl, she had a surprising amount of strength. Funny what lied beneath those little robes of hers. "Old Town in the Commercial District of Arashi. Ground level. Village build in way that higher go, more important. Kage building still in center though." The two would pass such businesses around then such as the Rev Room, a well known bar that had frequented a lost of guests in the past. Along their right would be the Hinegashi teahouse. Obei had never been inside but heard fantastic things about the owner, a well known kunoichi. Their trip continued while they'd come across quite the scene. A Tiger Kemono Shinzo would be bickering with another man in the square while they would go back and forth about the most innate of issues. The sight had caused Obei let out an annoyed huff in response. For somebody being under such safety, the people here tended to butt heads with the Yokai and Kemono a lot. "Arashi welcome all good. Some Kem-Mo-No come for no home. People nice but some people not like. Even Obei get like that. Make Obei wonder if really home sometime."
They'd continue on and leave the two to their scuffle while Obei would lead the way out of the Commercial District. "Me-Key know Arashi history? Obei help fill in if no."

Miki took a breath. Obei was probably right, Miki did have a way of getting perhaps a little too excited over things. Obei's words still wouldn't stop Miki from having perhaps a little too much enthusiasm toward getting to visit the village. Arashigakure was such a strange world to Miki. A floating village.
Miki held onto Obei's sleeve as she walked them out into Old Town. Miki would occasionally slow her pace as they came across the different buildings with particularly good smelling things. "I like Old Town." The girl smiled as they continued along the various areas. There was almost too much for her to take in all at once. Miki imagined that a lot of the spirit in this village lived here. The Rev Room and Hinegashi teahouse alone seemed to be popular attractions to the area. What the night life here must have been like. The girl could only smile brighter at the possibilities that the area brought.
The fighting between the Kemono Shinzo and man drew Miki's attention around the time Obei huffed. Miki had heard that Yokai and creatures of all types were welcome in Arashi. Though Miki had never really considered it. The girl didn't think it mattered where anyone came from. Afterall, Miki came from a Lumber mill not far from Konoha to having the Kyuubi stuck inside her. As long as they were fighting for good, Miki could consider them friends of hers. "I'm sorry they don't make you feel at home Obei. People hate things they don't understand, but they refuse to make steps to understand things they hate." Miki's eyes furrowed slightly as she spoke, the thought that Obei didn't feel at home because of people like him frustrated her.
"I'm afraid I don't know anything about Arashi really. I just know it's a floating city and I think the previous Arashikage was Toso and the current Arashikage is Miyuki." Miki really only knew the basics of the city. Though ever since she had arrived, she had become more and more fascinated with the different technology of the city.
The walk alongside Miki was interesting, with her holding onto the Oni's sleeve as the pale woman towered above the rest of the people present wandering about. At her words about the scuffle from earlier, the oni would gaze down towards her. She had gotten used to how her kind were taken in Arashi. It was only a minority that were opposed to the outside non-human civilians having any rights to speak of, typically locked behind closed doors. Although a nice change of topic would be how she didn't know much about the village. This would be a good chance for Obei to help teach her about her home! The oni would take a turn towards the courtyard area, where the districts of Arashigaure met that rested right outside of the Kage's Office. She came to a halt in front of Miki, gently picking her up and setting her down on the bench while she knelt down.
"Long ago, workers from mountains came down to land in search of place. Want to make new home. They find land around mountains. Only one entrance. Make for perfect home. But land too flat, workers try to find out how make home but not hurt trees and land. They work for months, make things in world that not even Kage Me-You-Key know well. Nobody even know how they get things to make." Obei paused for her to ask questions or reflect before she continued forward. "Things peaceful for short time. Then the Raikage lead rebellion against home. Kill leader." She said. Things did get confusing and even Obei herself had to be told multiple times about the history of Arashi before she made the connections.
"After he kill leader, Raikage go to war with United Hidden Villages. UHV. Make it easier. Workers who make Arashi die in war as rebels took over land. UHV big war. Very big war. Big villages attack small or big. Not matter. Villages fall but few remain. People from Kumogakure, Kirigakure, and Otogakure come together and find Arashi and make home. Very hard for them to see eye to eye but they make home thanks to Kages Jay and Jeon Park. Other people go to Uziogakure. Only two villages. Some time pass and make people happy. But not all very good."
Obei inhaled before continuing with the last bit of her little history lesson. "Ko-Gah-Rah-She come. UHV people who come to destroy village. Obei was part of Ko-Gah-Rah-She. Fool Obei thinking villages hurt people. Obei not know." she freely admitted, her crimson eyes looking to the ground in a bit of shame. It wasn't an easy fact to admit and even after all this time, the wounds still had their mark. "Kah-Gah-Mi leader. She want destroy all villages. Think villages evil and bring war. She destroy Uzio and come to Arashi. Kage before Toso try and defend but go missing. Toso lead in mean time. He defeat Ko-Gah-Rah-She and begin make Arashi better place. He help make village fly and become own village from land. Obei think you know about what happen to Toso and son. Won't tell if know."
The oni huffed again and would stand back up, beginning to stretch at her sore knees from kneeling down to Miki. "That Arashi history. Is long. Very long. But Obei hope Me-Key like. We keep on tour if Me-Key want. Can show Aether Leyline."

Miki was a little startled by Obei stopping in front of her and picking her up. "Well, someone's certainly strong." Miki giggled while she was seated on a nearby bench. "Thank you for that Obei. It was very kind of you." Miki would say before Obei would begin to speak about the events that had started the formation of Arashigakure. The girl listened intently as it seemed Obei had more knowledge about this village then plenty of the other people she had spoken to so far. Or at least she was the most willing to share it.
"Why did the Raikage rebel to begin with?" Miki asked Obei when given the opportunity, continuing to listen as she went on about Arashigakure's village. "I've read about the UHV war, but we didn't have many books on it where I lived." The girl was certainly glad to get some more insight on what that war was actually about. It was hard to get books at the lumber mill she was raised on and her parents didn't talk about it much. "My parents were from Uzu."
There was a twist in Obei's story that Miki wasn't expecting. 'She was a member of the Kogarashi' Miki thought to herself. "Wow Obei. I would have never guessed that." Miki took a moment to process what the woman had told her, but Miki could feel the shame coming from Obei's eyes. "That's pretty brave of you to tell me. Thank you." Miki smiled and allowed Obei to continue on with her story. "I remember Toso and Satoshi. They were at the Kage summit." Miki thought back as Obei talked about the two of them. It seemed like a tragic story, but Miki could only recall Satoshi being not someone she would want to associate with. The entire idea of the rain village creeped her out.
Miki stood shortly after Obei got up. "That was a lot of history. It sounds like you know practically everything that's happened here! I really enjoyed hearing it." Miki couldn't hold back her smile at all. It was one of the first times in a few days she was feeling almost normal. "The Aether Leyline sounds amazing." Miki nodded her approval of the new tour location. Whatever it was had to be something cool. Afterall, it was Arashi a place that seemed to have never ending technology and wonders.
"Mm. Obei help attack Arashi. After Kah-Gah-Me die, Obei no home. Not until Suh-Lee-Nah come and help Obei come. Now Obei help people. Obei like." She was happy to hear that the smaller woman didn't hold what she couldn't have known against her. It was a tribulation that she had faced countless times before and was a relief to hear. Even after all this time later. It made her feel...more human. The tour of Arashi continued as Obei would lead Miki out of the courtyard and towards one of the several aether stations scattered around the outside of the village. In the meantime, Obei would answer a bit of Miki's questions. "Raikage want villages in UHV. Smaller than big villages so better to take. Not have to spend much to take." As they approached the entrance of the nearest leyline station, Miki might hear the sound of some of the ships being docked or even taking off. Around them would be security officers and such which would stand on guard as people entered and exited the elevators coming around them.
"This West Leyline station. People come from ground to Arashigakure. elevators come up and down on chakra. Can see for long way if using them. Make world seem small." An armor plated finger pointed towards one of the elevators lowering itself down, as Miki would be able to catch a glimpse of how the system actually worked. "This also place where Sah-Toe-She take airship when younger. Obei not here when happen but Leyline close for days.Make travel hard. Was bad. Very bad." The oni let out another huff and took another few mouthfuls of her ale, even offering it to Miki if she wanted to have another go at it.

"Selina? I like that name... She sounds like a very special person to have been your friend." Miki smiled at the thought. "I'm glad she was able to help you." If they hadn't helped out Obei, who knows where she would be. Perhaps they would have never met if Selina didn't help Obei. As Miki thought on it, she found herself drawing closer to Obei as they went into the much more crowded leystation where Miki could see what seemed like magic to her. The elevators alone seemed just so practical to have in such a large city. "Obei its so pretty here." Miki's eyes moved around the station in wonder. What likely felt day to day to most of the people there was a new and amazing thing. "We don't have anything like this back in Konoha. They made me climb up 40 flights of stairs to see the Hokage!" Miki giggled at the thought of all the stairs she had to climb that day. It was a much funnier experience now that had some time had passed. At the moment Miki realized it had only been a couple weeks since she had been a Konoha shinobi. It felt almost like a life time already. The girl's free hand unconsciously moved to her stomach where her seal had been placed.
"I can't believe Satoshi did that. I hope not too many people were hurt that day." The girl thought back to the kage summit again and of the man that claimed himself Amekage. Whatever was happening in that village, it wasn't good. Miki watched as Obei began to take another few mouthfuls of her ale. 'She can drink so much of that stuff.' Miki thought to herself, feeling as though she would be dead if she drank as much Obei. Though Miki figured Obei was a veteran in drinking in comparison to herself. The offering of another swig made her think twice before she decided to just do it. That's what she went to the bar to begin with, she may as well continue doing that with a friend.
Miki took as much as her tongue could handle before she would hand back the ale to Obei. Something she decided would likely be a mistake later on. Her face scrunched in the same dramatic fashion it had at the bar, showing that she still wasn't used to the drink at all. Once Miki was able to focus more on the sweetness of the drink, her face returned to normal. "Thank you Obei. Hopefully one day I can get used to it and drink it just like you!" Miki smiled, leading the walk around the leyline station for awhile so she could take a look at almost everything. As they walked, it was clear that the larger amount of ale she had consumed was faster acting. The girl found herself straying slightly from Obei, finding it harder to walk in a straight line. Each time she did this, she only held onto Obei tighter to try and prevent herself from walking off.
"Obei would you show me your favorite place in the village? I think it'll be beautiful." Miki smiled at the thought. She figured Obei must have a place somewhere in this village that she liked to go to and Miki was curious as to what Obei liked. "Maybe on the way you can tell me more about yourself Obei. I really want to know all about you!"
Of course, Obei was omitting quite a few things. That Selina and her had been partners in more definitions than one might expect, and that she had gone on to investigate a discovery regarding the Rinnegan and had been missing for quite some time now. But it was just a first meeting after all. She wasn't keen on giving anything more unless asked first. Showing Miki around was fun to the oni, as she'd make sure to keep an eye on the smaller woman out of concern. Arashi was a fairly big placed for somebody not from the same village. The remark about Konoha caused Obei some mild amusement. "Sounds like trouble. Very trouble. If want, Obei tear down to only one stair." She'd laugh with the girl as her hand moved to her midsection. Obei had read the reports and wasn't too stupid but didn't tell. Even as they had all the information they needed, it was just plain rude to barge into her business like that. "Some guards die but not by Satoshi. Accident from boat being stolen." She pounded down some more alcohol before Miki would take another- Wait, she was drinking it normally? This was high grade sake! She couldn't just drink this and hope he be just dandy!
"M-Maybe Me-Key slow down?" she offered when she noticed the face that her friend had made. Obei furrowed her brows as the gourd was handed back to her. "Obei not sure sake safe for Me-Key and people to take big drinks. But thank you." She at least was happy that somebody was so eager to try something she was so passionate about. Of course, just as she suspected, about a few seconds into the walk around the ley station and it was starting to hit the poor girl hard. She wobbled all over the place and had to hold onto the oni to keep from wandering off or falling down. Obei would take some pity on her and gently reach down to pick her up against, tucking her arm against her side while bringing her gauntlet up in a flat angle. Miki now had her own seat that she could gawk and marvel at things without having the sake affecting preventing her from getting around. "Comfy?" Obei asked while they continued.
A couple of minutes later and Obei was asked to bring her to her favorite place in the village. It did make the oni pause for a moment to consider the options. "Obei favorite place, hm?" She mulled it over for a bit and would set off for the northern districts after leaving the leyline station. Her large steps made it take not too much time until they were back at the center of the village. "Miki want know about Obei? How come? Obei not interesting." she huffed and would listen to her reasoning. After some hesitation, she'd spill the beans a bit while they began the trek up across a bridge of a nearby body of water towards the mountainous region. "Obei born in mountains. Was sick when child. Other oni strong and active. Obei too weak to even move. Village hated Obei. But medic come one day and promise to make strong again. Bring to shrine near base of mountain." she told the story of herself, figuring it would be the most interesting for Miki to hear as she rode in her palm. "Medic take care of Obei. Find that chakra imbalance why sick. Make Obei pale and hands cold but Obei make ice. Grow up there but then medic go missing. Obei go to find before meet Kah-Gah-Me. Is strange. Very strange."
She'd continue to the stairs until they would arrive at the Moonsong Temples, a series of temples constructed around the cliffs of the village. Each outcropping of housing or temple would have candles or natural lighting ensuring that anybody could see. They would be up high overtacing cliffs, but Obei kept a tight grip on Miki. "Obei have you. Me-Key not fall." they continued the tour as Obei took her to a few spots. Where the main temple area was where the religious would make their offerings or pray, the trail that led across the area and offered a scenic view of the village, most of the important places. "This Obei's favorite spot. Reminds Obei of home. Not try to talk with more Oni but priests nice." she mused. "Konoha have big stone wall. Obei love to see it one day...If they forgive Obei."
