Time 00:05:12, setting in a small mining town, population:230 The world is inhabited by Humans, demons, elves, orcs, et cetera. The setting takes place with Katoshi Uriotai traveling solo for sometime now just drifting in and out of places he wishes. The town of Balmora was Uri's destination for now. Uri was dressed in fashions of dark clothing and a long hooded rob with his sword along side of him. Tired from his journy from the last town Uri heads for the local tavern and thus the story begins.
The town full of hard workers, the sound of mining in the distance, Uri could smell the sweat from these people. Uri casually walked through the town until he reached the destination of the pub. Uri took one step in with his right foot and stopped, feeling the stares of the town's people on him as they stalled their laughter and delight. Uri followed through with his step and moved to a near by place to his left. There were mats for everyone to sit on for the town had not enough prosperity to make or buy tables. Uri sat down back against the wall with his legs sprawled out. Uri's blue eyes watched everyone as he awaited for someone to catier him. Under his hood Uri's hair fell down over his eyes lightly. The people of the pub went on about their talks only now well awear of Uri's presence. As the catierer came Uri looked at the woman without moving his head,"Bring me some water and bread." The women looked at him and gave a prostetic smile and went into the back. There Uri waited closing his eyes for a few seconds.

Having setteled in the town monthes before, Cole was a regular sight now. He bopped his way toward the tavern after clocking out with his boss and collecting the days pay.
He was young, some might say strapping, but none would go as far as to call him hansom. He often had dirt on his face, and rarily was a day when he didn't have that dry dirt smell about him. He knew his way around a pickaxe, and that was just about it; in fact if a woman were to try and make a move on him, he would lift her up and swing her to check and see if she was sturdy enough to take a s a wife. He was not stupid though, he was smart enough to count, and read, and even write a little, it was that little piese called human interaction that he could not seem to wrap his mind around.
The saloon doors opened for him, he set his pick next to the inside of the door, and looked around.

Lutra looked up as the young man entered. that would be two strange characters in one day. the quiet guy with the sword and the kid with the pick axe. she rolled her eyes and returned to her book of logic puzzles.
she was as average as a philosopher in a mining town could be. the locals avoided her, not knowing what to think of this woman who did nothing but read and stare at the clouds, and this suited her just fine. 'one cannot interpret clouds if they are distracted by mindless chatter.' with blue hair, striking violet eyes and fairer skin than the workmen, Lutra was odd indeed.
she made fleeting eye contact with the man before returning to the conundrum before her.

Uri had received his drink and began to sip with his right hand, grasping with his index finger, middle finger and thumb. He watched these people have their fun of talk and laughter. Everythign seemed to be in order, this man with a pick axe had walked in only moments ago and could see he was no fool to work. Uri had his bread in hand and laid his gold peices on the mat, well worth enough to feed everyone in the pub. Uri stood dusthing himself off and spotted the younge lady with the velvet eyes eyeing here and there from her book. Uri then turned to take a step with his left foot and just then seemed to have tripped a man of great calibur. He stumbled to the ground with a great thundering clasp. Uri looked down at the man as he pushed himself up with his masculin arms, getting up and turning toowards Uri. "What's yur problum, stranga!?," Looking down at Uri, seeming to be of great hieght though Uri himself was of 6 foot in length,"I have no problem, sir, mearly you got in my way." The man now red hot got closer leaning down a bit,"Really bo' you gots you sum nerve to be speakin' tha' way to me!" Uri looked at him with an emotionless face. No sir, you are the one that is speaking out of turn, you will accept my apology as I must leave before dawn breaks." The man stood dumbfounded,"You punk, no one talks to me li' that!" The man cocked his arm back jolting in a giant thumderous punch. Uri sighed with displeasure as the man went in, Uri simply stuck out his right hand, palm open, and struck the forearm of the man's attack and stepped to the side using his lightfoot technique to increase his speed. The man looked up in confusion and tried to go at Uri again with another punch but found his arm was paralyzed. "Wha' you gone done to me bo'," lost in confusion as Uri replied,"I have no intention of fighting you and as I stated before I must leave before dawn breaks." The man went berserking at Uri not rashinolizing with anything now.

Cole watch the fight erupt from just inside the doorway. He cringed when the man was hit and fel sympathy pain for him, he knew the big guy from the mines, and he knew that he was an a**.
He took a few steps forword and tried to look for a relitivly empty table away from the fight. He saw the studious woman, and asked her if he could sit with a simple hand gesture.

Uri tilted his head down a bit thinking how he did not want to cause any damage, but nothing could be done about it he guessed,"Do not blame me for this then," as Uri leaped up in the air and his cloak opening to reveal his body. Uri tapped his right foot on the wall behind him and went soaring over head but just then the man grabbed Uri's right, outstretch, leg and went in to crush in on the floor. Uri gathered his energy into his left palm as tapped the the top of his cervical as Uri came in from the throw down. Uri stopped himself with his right arm just then as the toss became weaker and seen the man loose all control of his body and came crashing down. The man deperatly tried to move his arms and legs and wiggled his head around. "Wha' you done to me! Wait till I get my hans on you bo'!," as Uri got up and looked down at the man,"I told you do not blame me, you did not think to reason. Do not worry sir, the paralysis will wear off in a few hours." Uri went to turn and leave and heard from the crowd of people in the pub,"Get that b*****d! He gone and hurt Vincent! Yeah! Get 'em!" Uri turned and saw he had stired up the locals and sighed to himself at the trouble he had caused.

Lutra nodded slightly to the miner, not taking her eyes off the fight. fools, if he can take down Vincent, the strongest man in town, none of you stand the slightest chance. she thought. tapping the page with her pen, she sighed quietly. foolish Vincent, you may lose the place for this. a small cup of tea was refilled and replaced in front of her. Lutra glanced at the maid who had refilled it as the girl walked away.

One-by-one the miners of the town came at Uri, trying to jump on him to get an advatage. One-by-one Uri used his paralyzing palm technique to do as little damage as possible. A mine came in with a pick, jumping up in the air too swing the axe over his head and on to Uri. Uri used his lightfoot technique to dodge to the left and tapped the miner's arm. A miner came from behind and put Uri in a full nelson. Uri reached for the man's head from behind and gathered energy to his hands to generate his ability to will ice. The man let go at the mercy of the freezing cold attack on his face. Then another man came from the left and tackled Uri to the ground, then followed the rest of the minors. All seems to have gone wrong at this moment. Uri gathered his energy at this moment around his body and released his ice barrier technique, freezing the air around him to what ever tempurature he wills. The grips on Uri weakend as everyone felts the chill around him in a 3 foot radious. Uri gently flung off the minors and dusted himself off obviously a little fatigued from the meaningless brawl. Uri walked up to the woman with blue hair,"Excuse me, could you possible tell me who owns or works here?"

"Vincent owns the place. anybody that's relatively clean and in an apron works here." she chuckled. "why?" she gathered up her papers and tucked them in her shoulder bag. the conundrum could wait, this was more interesting.

Uri looked a little stunned,"That man worked here huh, well I guess he is a bit of an ill tempured guy." Uri dazed off for a few seconds as he focoused on his main goal again,"Oh well I would like to pay forhte few damages here so I guess I have no choice but to just leave this here," as Uri pulled out a few more gold pieces. He walked over to the big guy, Vincent, and layed them on top of him as he spewed out vowing to kill Uri. Then Uri walked back over the the girl and the other man sitting next to her,"Would any of you know your way to the forest that is near by? I have gold to pay you with if you could help me get there." Uri looked down at the two hoping for some help.

Lutra laughed to herself as the Vincent cursed the man giving him more money than the moron had ever seen.
"to or through?" she asked. "i know both." Lutra looked back at the giant on the floor, and the gold on him. if this guy paid everthing in gold she'd be rich for giving directions

Uri looked at the girl seeming excited inside,"If you would like to guid me through the forest I guess I could take the help, but my journy does not end going to the direction out, I must find my way to the place of the spirits. I am hoping to find something there, I hear the journy is no short trip andif you are willing to guide me I will pay what ever you request." Uri looked at them both with a calm cool smile one which they could not see under his mask. "I must leave right now for I am short on time, if you take the offer I will let you stop if you need to pick up supplies." Uri turned toward the door looking back, in the corner of his eye, at the two sitting down.

Morlock had spent days on his travels to reach this small mining town, there were rumors that there might be large mithril deposites in the mines. He decided it be best to stop by the local tavern to catch up with the news and get some refreshments. Inside the tavern he saw two people talking and one of them looked like he was watching to other people suspiciously, but this was soon abrupted by the bouncer. "You got business here?" said the large orc. "Yes, and it is none of your business." Morlock replied "It is now." the orc repleid in a grimacing tone. Morlock pulled a small waterproof bag out of his pocket, "I would stand back if you know what is good for you." "I would back down, small fry if you know what is good for you.." the orc said in a irritated tone. "Then this is for your own good." Morlock said as he took a small pinch of the powder and threw it in the air, he then took a vial of water and threw it in to the air with the powder. A enormous blue flam exploded inbetween him and the bouncer. "Pure sodium...so unstable that it will catch fire even with water." "uh....sorry for the mistake sir, you may enter." the bouncer said with a surprised tone. Morlock walked in and sat in the back corner of the tavern and told the bartender, "One Ale, that's all for now." And he just started to pay attention to the things going on around him.

"i would be glad to assist you. there hasn't been this much excitement in years." Lutra looked directly at the newcomer with this last remark. "two, or three if this guy ((the miner)) comes, is hardly enough to start a quest, though." she threw on her travelling cloak and picked up her staff from the corner.
