Just name and discuss some of the little things that seem harmless, but are still frightening nonetheless.
Just yesterday I came up with this topic because I was driving home, when suddenly I had the urge to sneeze. As you know, it's pretty much impossible to sneeze with your eyes open, and shutting them would mean taking my eyes off the road for an extended period of time (it was one of those long, build-up sneezes). As you can imagine, I was a impasse, stuck trying not to sneeze and trying to drive with a massive sneeze looming behind my eyes. Very frightening. Eventually, the sneeze came and I opened my eyes as fast as I could, which made them all watery, but I made it home okay.
What are some of the scary little things that you've experienced?

When I lifeguard, we have an umbrella on our broken stand (a couple of kids pushed the stand in the pool last year) and I'm always afraid the stand will fall over with me in it.

When I cross my bus stop cross walk on a rainy day. I almost got run over once. I wish they'd put red lights above that thing, or something.

The mall closest to where I live has these really steep stairs with a rail that comes up to my waist and for some reason whenever I go down them I'm scared I'm going to fall down.

Small thing scared of... yeah, needles. Scared of needles. Paranoid of needles. Doesn't even matter if I'm the one going to get it stuck in my it drives me insane to think that any needle will pierce any skin. I've always been needle-phobic. Needles are scary. DAmn mosquitos and their needle piercing little bastards.
Sorry, even just thinking about it has me... I dunno... I'm gonna put the shelf into place now...

Being outside. And alone.
I'm real paranoid. Reeeaall paranoid. I don't like being alone. You never know what's lurking out there.
Doesn't help that I've been followed twice, though.

I am terrified of needles and zombies.
I start hyperventilating in doctor's offices and almost passed out the last time I had to have blood taken.
And I'm just terrified of zombies. COMPLETELY. I almost cried when I saw the person with the Shinigami picture in their sig. I can't read Deathnote because they look too much like zombies.

I can't stand to get my face wet. I seriously freak out when anything is aiming at my face or goes to hit my face and water is one of those that really bothers me and I ussually have to take a while trying to wipe it off and make my face dry again.
