This is obviously a play-off of the "Songs to play at your wedding." sweatdrop
So, if you could request songs for your own funeral, what would they be?
For me:
-"Through The Never" - Metallica
-"Satelites and Astronauts" - In Flames
-"Enter Sandman" - Metallica
-"Dead End" - In Flames
The songs have energy. I want my funeral to be a party and celebration, not some sad event that nobody wants to go to. 3nodding
So, here's a discussion to make it easy:
1. What songs would you request?
2. Why?
3. Anything else you think is related to this.

Well, I haven't actually thought about it, but my Dad has told me on a few occasions that he would like part of the song, "Beggars at the Feast" from the musical Les Miserables to be played. God on high

I'd have somekind of symphony playing because think about, your folks are mourning your death I don't think they will want heavy metal or rock playing unless your family is very into that stuff.
But the actual song I'd want to play at my funeral would be Speed Metal symphony by Steve Vai. I mean I'm dead, yay you're going to die someday as well it's part of life.

"Let's Get ******** Up And Die" - Motion City Soundtrack
These songs suit me pretty well. I'd want them played at my funeral, because not one really knows me like I wish they did. I guess those songs will clear up a few things? I don't know... Plyus, my parents hate these songs, I guess. Payback time? Ha.

I'm thinking the Sesame Street theme song, the Digimon theme song, and a few songs by U2. Oh, and One Winged Angel.
The theme songs would be there because of me: to remind people that I would be the sort of person to play them at a funeral.
The U2 songs, I'm thinking Ultraviolet and Electrical Storm, would be there because I like U2 and those two songs (althouh you've probably never heard of them) are really great and perfect for the occasion.
One Winged Angel... that would be for my friends. We're all video game nerds, and who doesn't like that song?
Oh, and I plan on being donated to science and then cremated.
