There is a road that runs north and south here through a grassy area. To the west of here you can see the edge of a forest and a little farther off to the east you can see a broad river just down a gentle slope. To the south the road continues on up a gentle slope of grassy land. Just off of the road there sits an old cart with a broken wheel. By the looks of it this was a horse drawn cart and when the wheel broke the owner abandoned it here. Small blue flowers have sprung up all around the rickety cart's base and little bees and butterflies seem to be buzzing and fluttering their way among them. There is a steady breeze coming in from the south and when the wind gusts a little harder you can smell a hint of the ocean. Head North along the RoadHead East toward the RiverHead South along the Road

Shinobi decided to go east to take a different route.
"Wait a minute, i've been here!!" he thought to himself, then ran back south.

Nothing. There was a cart, though, but the owner must've fled. There were three paths to choose from; and only one of them would carry her safely back to the warm confines of Macayle's Inn.
Artemis's leg was doing better, almost in good condition.
The river seems inviting, she thought, let's see what happens there. . . .
It was an impulse: where pleasant things are found, the Inn would surely be near it.

"Huh... wonder what's up with that cart..?" Fairlee mused aloud as they continued southward.
"Hmm..." Lucifer took flight and soared over to the cart. He hovered over it for a minute before swooping lower, brushing off some of the snow with his tail. After a long moment he spoke sounded disappointed. "Well, there's nothing here..."
"You mean there's nothing for us to..?" the elf girl started.
"Steal? Nope... not unless you have a use for damp and frozen wood."
"Awwwww... that sucks!?' Fairlee whined, her shoulders slumping as she walked.
"Ugh... looting to have money to eat. We really are depraved, aren't we?' Lucifer sighed as he flew after Fairlee.
