WOW ARE WE AWESOME!
We're sixth in the registry, with 23k+ members and a whopping 230k posts! Needless to say, on March 9th, there will be a big party to commomorate our very first year here at Why Not, and everyone will be welcome.
But to the contest...
Of course Why Not has had all sorts of spiffy banners, everything from epileptic shock inducing to somewhat soothing, and it just wouldn't do if we didn't have a totally awesome banner to kick off our next year of Why Notness! That's where you, our members, come in.
All we want you to do is make a banner. A banner that puts the "awesometasticnessosity" in Why Not. There are only a few requirements:
1) It has to mention the phrase "Why Not?" somewhere.
2) It has to be 40 x 200 pixels in size, otherwise it will not fit.
Other than that, anything is open, just use your imagination, wit, and charm! (Of course, we ask you to be prudent, don't use nasty images or curse words or other things that may be against ToS.) The banner can be animated or not, we're open to both. 3nodding The cooler the banner the better, because our VCs (Askeptykal, Strideo, Pulga, and LingMing) will be choosing whose banner wins! wink
So what do you win? Well, each of our second and third place winners will get 5k and an enchanted trunk. Our first place winner will receive 25k, and the honor of having his or her banner up in lights on the registry during the month of March for everyone to see on Gaia! biggrin Sweeeeeeeet!! whee
Other banners submitted by members may also be used by the guild at a later date as well. If you submit a cool banner, we're likely to use it if it really shows off the Why Not spirit. heart

Please send all entries to zphal_girl87 via PM. From there, I will post them in the SSS for our VCs to pick winners. The close date for entries is February 20th. This will allow our VCs a week to decide on the winner before March. smile
