So, what kind of guys do you look for? Any personality or physical traits?
Personally I like a guy who isn't shy and will protect me but won't use me. He also should be a good artist and kind. He must also listen to me and help me through hard times. It would also be nice if he liked to snuggle. He also must be able to get along with my family. Maybe blue or green eyes. A good sence of style in a guy is also great. He also must be funny and caring. Along with being around my height.

I have almost all those characteristics.... but mostly all those thing you find are in people that Teenager these days stay away from. (geeks, nerds... get my drift.) But i am bisexual so yeah, lol

Discussion:
What sort of things interest you romantically? (I'd like this thread to be non-gendered, if you please)
I'm hetero (not 100%, but that's a story for another day), and I have a tendency to prefer girls with a more confident personality, although being a little reserved is good also. Being able to carry on a conversation (of the intelligent variety, but pointless banter is fun too) and having a good sense of humor are probably traits I'd rank higher as well.

Most people would say that in order to be attracted to a person mentally, they must first be attracted physically. I personally don't depend on looks. A personality makes a person who they are. Communication is important in a relationship, so I feel I need someone who I can talk with. A trophy looks nice, but it doesn't do much just sitting there.

Wow... it's weird how this wnet to a "lets see if you're compatible to Lee" but yes I agree with dboyzero... i did mean for this to be more on what people perfer relationship wise.
Lol, and yes, it is always good to be able to comunicate. It annoys me so much when I'm talking to some one and they don't respond or don't seem to be paying attention. It's always good when the guy will actually talk back or turn the conversation into something really random. If they can have fun then I'll have fun. In fact, randomness can be a good thing. Appearances don't occupy me as much as personality does.

notice how every guy that answers is answering you lucky cool . is it me or do all the things you listed for yourself explain the exact opposite of your bf rolleyes ? my kind of guy is the kind that can stand up to me and is hard core. also the have to have both a soft side and a side made of thorns that protect him from others. don't come by many of those these days. stare

Asian studies class today! We were making a timeline of China's Dynasties and I look over and he's drawing a "tree" I couldn't tell what it was... his hand writing's sloppy, he can't draw, he's too shy... it's starting to give me a headache! I ended up banging my head against the desk! And I swear he's getting a pity thing going! I was thinking over how to break up with him and he brings up that today is our 1 month aniversery. whee I don't pay attention to things like that. He's making it really hard for me to even get around to breaking up with him. I mean he's sweet and all but it's just too much!

My first BF didn't have much looks but eventually he looked great in my eyes after I knew him better. Now i don't know what the heck I ever saw in him!

Guess i'll just describe my boyfriend.
Taller than me, which is cool, I call him freakishly tall, he calls me teh shorts. We're both video game fanatics, and just spent about 6 hours playing Street Fighter III ( Gill is such a yotch... ), which we're just as happy sitting around playing a game as we would be out and about.
We both have anime likes, me more than him, but nothing OMGZNARUTOINUYASHA, we watched the whole season of Ronin Warriors [ Samurai Troopers] though, good 'ol stuff.
But let's see, personality wise. Funny guy, jokes a plenty, good or bad, I laugh at both. Not an egobeast like some of my guy friends, and way more gentlemen-like than most of them as well. Sensitive, but mostly just I see that side, hugglehappy type. I do like huggles...
He gets down sometimes, but he just worries about things. Some may consider that a flaw, but I don't mind, I like being the one he talks too, and I like helping. I don't see it as a 'flaw' at all, merely a part of him, and loves all of him.

A perfect guy for me would be some one who cares for you and will always be there, who always remembers you’re b-day. I don’t think looks really mater they are just a plus. I want a guy how knows exactly what to tell you when you’re down or just stays with you until it’s all better some one who makes me smile, some one I can talk too and feel comfortable in of to cry in front of . I won’t him to be himself around me and not pretend to be some one their not. I want for him to tell me what happens in his life and be about to cry in front of me to feel comfortable.......I want a man but maybe that is too much to ask smile

Anouther thing that I will add is that they respect you and care about you. Not only that but they wont cheat on you... not play with your heart. Nor will you be a month through the relationship and he still won't make a move to hold hands or any thing like that. I'd raher have a guy that will make the first move than a guy that will just end up just talking and boring you nearly to death... I seriously and breaking up with my current BF on monday... he's too slow, bores me to death and is starting to get on m nerves... I mean he's a great guy and all but a lousy BF.
