I'm an artist, but my work isn't drawings. I write, and am hoping to find someone within this guild to stand up and say they do the same.

I want to vote but you don't have an option for both in drawing and writing but any way I try and try and wait for something to come and I just damn well suck and so I see that their are some (what they call good writers) NOT Saying your bad I just want some help here with a cheep dumb a** poetry or sonnet and now I call it a long verse but I know nothing no matter how hard I study so here is my pathetic writing and I would like some help on improving it and I have every rhyming dictionary known to man and still I have crap...

Night’s seeds have
Fallen
On this world of
Overwrought
Memory an time

The night leads on
Mystery and sublime
Thoughts.

Through shadows fallen,
Nothing is, as it seems
In dreams
Dreams of truth
Truths unseem.


What are these tears upon my face?
I thought I saw them pass away,
When sleeping is death
Then hope is gone.

Hope fades into the world
Of night

For all hopes from truth revealed,
From the voice that calls me,
From the love that finds me.

Beyond the shores of the sea
There’s something my heart seeks.

I throw away all thoughts of home
From then down-from-the-door
You’re journey-has-begun.

Two hearts make the journey,
Two ways the hearts will brake,
Strongest of the hearts will carry on.

West away the sea is taken me,
Across the rolling blue waves that are flowing,
Where the wind is blowing.

What is it I see on the horizon?
A grate moon risen over
Periwinkle Sea,
Twinkle’n it to silver glass
The mermaids light upon the waters
My soul passed.

There’s no peace in wondering
Of the ones whose always wandering
Never finds home.
Those paths they tread have led to their deathbed.

They made
A wish to cast a
Spell of might.

He opens a path for me in return
Of my heart,
“Your ways are marked by tracks
Of silver light,
That means escape
From endless night.”

Into the west were I want to be.
Feeling the salt wind blow makes me feel free.
A beach of sheer white sand dunes,
The clear light waves surge
Upon the dunes
Therefore, my heart still beats
On-and-on
Into the lights of Amen ‘Avalon*’

I write both original and fanfics. I also read a lot of fanfics and a lot of it gets boring after a while. I always search for something original, though. I usually find a lot of it, too. My favorite's list on fanfiction.net has about 70 stories on it, (well, I've had the account for about a year...) I've seen other lists that have about 200 stories on it! And I really don't go on my fictionpress.com very often, but there are a lot of great stories on there.

i write and draw, i love both. I dont know which one i do better realy. I only know how to draw anime and manga, but the only way it turns out any good is if im looking at a picture wial i draw it, which means i cant realy draw anything of my oun. So i guess that would make me a better writer? 4laugh

i write and draw, im write storys,poems, lyrics,etc. and im not as good in drawing but im getting there just takes me practice iv been working on lullabys for my son when hes born, lullabys are harder then u would tink when ur making them for a pacific gender lol


a short poem , just randoml;y poped into my mind a few days ago. isnt my best but eh


Iv watched you fall from the sky.
i picked you up and held you tight.
all day and even through the night.
i watched you smile over and over again.
after a while me became more then friends.
i told you i loved you.
you said you loved me too.
but then came that tragic call.
the day i lost it all.
it was the hospital on the phone.
you got in a fight with your mom.
you died that night.
so in this story i tell you all.
i loved him with all my might.
yet in spite, he left it all.




as i said not the best.

I do both, but I generally stick to writing and refer to myself as a writer. I barely write poetry anymore and I quit writing fanfics because I hate using other people's stuff, so now I just write my own stories. I'm currently looking on one story and a series (rest are on the back shelf). I'm told I'm pretty good and whether I am or not, I love writing and I love that people enjoy my writing enough to treat it as an addiction. ^^
