So hey quick question - Can a lion go from Grunt to Peon willingly because they were injured at some point, and it was an entirely recoverable injury, but they found the down-time crafting they started to do far more enjoyable? Like, they could entirely still kick some tail and hold their own in battle, they just willingly choose to craft bones and teeth and stuff into things to wear.

I never thought about that but if they willingly wanted to become a peon then I don't see any harm in it and despite maybe a few odd looks from some of the more bullheaded grunts, I think the triumvirate would be more than okay with their decision.
